Take one massive waterpark. Throw in a stack of knuckle-whiteners. Sprinkle with a couple of relaxing rides. And voilà – you’ve got the Aqua Nevis Clubhotel.
Set over 24,000 square metres, the brilliant Aqua Nevis Clubhotel has waterslides that range from pulse-racers – stand up Kamikaze and Twister – to more sedate affairs, like the Crazy River.
You’re within walking distance of the town centre and beach, but the hotel puts on a free shuttle bus to zip you there even quicker.

Alongside family-friendly numbers such as the lazy river and wave pool, smaller visitors are looked after here too. Adventure Island is packed with mini slides and water sprays just for the little ones, and the pool is nice and shallow for splashing around. Bigger slides like the Boomerango half-pipe and the speedy multi-lane chutes are on hand for thrillseekers to enjoy as well.
Just so you know, the waterpark is also open to the public, and food and drink at the restaurant come at a charge. And just to make you aware, some of the slides may be too big for younger visitors.
- There is a height restriction of 130cm for the larger slides
First Choice Kids' Club
First Choice Kids’ Club caters for 3 to 11 year olds – so brothers and sisters can join in the fun together. And most of it’s completely free. It runs 5 days a week and – outside of peak season – there are parent and toddler sessions for under 3s, too. For your peace of mind, all First Choice Kids’ Club staff have advance DBS checks and hold NVQ Level 2 childcare qualifications. They’re First Aid trained, and there’ll be at least 2 of them on duty at all times. Plus there’s a strict sign-in and out system.
With a kids' section.

Brilliant - loved every min of it. Went and came back year later.
Okay before I start, I just want to say yes this is a review from a CHILD aged 12. So you are probably thinking - why a child? I just thought you need a review from a child's actual words and typing. Aqua Nevis Clubhotel was amazing - the staff were nice and friendly all the time! Especially the one that served the ice cream. The hotel was always clean and the meals never got old! There was a day when there was lightning so the pool had to close, but i'm not going to go on about that as they can't control the weather. The waterpark was amazing, only thing I have to say is there was more people from bulgaria that came to the water park then the people that actually stayed at the hotel I found but that is fine! Queue was fairly big but it was summer and you can't expect it to go fast but all in all was worth the queue. I would recommend this place as entertainment is decently good, and when the entertainment is closed, their finishing song is amazing and catchy. Would def stay here again in future. 5/5 The only thing I have to say is if you had kids (like me) then it's really loud if your hotel room is near the entertainment at night. xxMore
Stayed here in September 2016 as a couple! Food was always excellent, Water park lots of fun and pool was a lovely place to relax! staff very helpful and always willing to assist! rooms clean, modern and tidy! Would visits again without a doubt! More
This is a brilliant hotel, and we had a fantastic holiday. We had a family room overlooking the waterpark, it was big, spacious and very nicely decorated with a great view. The rooms were cleaned daily. A kettle was provided, along with tea, milk and sugar. (although no English breakfast tea, we bought some from the supermarket just across the road! They did serve tea in the restaurant, but it was a little weak and not available at night of course. As you can tell we are tea addicts haha!) The staff here are very friendly. There is free access to the waterpark, in my opinion the hotel itself wouldnât be much if this wasnât the case. We spent most of our time in the waterpark as the actual hotel pool was very crowded, sunbeds right next to one another, sardines came to mind. Also the sunbeds to the right of the pool were shaded for quite a lot of the day. There would not have been enough sunbeds to accommodate all hotel guests had the waterpark not been available. The waterpark was fantastic! Plenty of sunbeds, you didnât have to worry about reserving them which is not always the case in other hotels. We particularly enjoyed the sunbeds near the smaller slides as you enter the park to the right, but the park is vast, there is a pool for relaxing and further into the waterpark plenty more slides and pools for younger children which we experienced and our one year old seemed to enjoy! You are allowed to take drinks from the hotel into the waterpark, but not food â I had my one year old son, who wasnât eating much due to the heat, and trying to take a packet of pomm bear crisps in proved a challenge with one of the staff members working there, she reluctantly gave in when I told her that this and yoghurt is all my son is eating. They check your bag and pushchair basket every time you enter, I understand the rules but it felt more like airport security at times the way they ruffled through everything. The waterpark restaurant was nice and made a change from the hotel restaurant food. The food at aqua nevis was okay to begin with but began to get a little repetitive and boring. There were always nice salads available though, and jacket potatoes at lunch time. I wouldnât consider myself a fussy eater but If im being honest some days I did struggle. The themed nights were okay, I quite enjoyed the Mexican night. Could not fault the desserts. The only thing that was a little annoying was that they didnât seem to use the aircon all of the time which meant it got very hot and uncomfortable, and the flies became slightly unbearable eventually. The poolside food of hotdogs pizza and burgers during the day were fine, if a little salty. We switched it up a little and ate out a few times during our stay which was enjoyable and very cheap. There is a nice sports bar and some courts located behind the hotels main pool, just outside of the complex. The evening entertainment was okay, mainly for younger children, but there is bingo. The hotels cocktail range was very limited indeed unless you wanted to pay for them. And one gripe of mine was the fact that the mini bar in the hotel room was not free, in every all inclusive hotel I have stayed in the mini bar has been free but not here, it was ok as it was cheap but still annoying. The supermarket located across from the hotel saved us a few times from hunger, it is so cheap and so convenient, loved the fact that we could nip in there for something even late at night. The strip is located only 10 mins walk away which was idea staying somewhere abit quieter but it being so close at the same time. As for the people complaining about the noise from the entertainment, it only goes on till 11 and you are on holiday!!!! I would 100 percent recommend this hotel and would love to return.More
Been here before, looking to come back in 2017
Hi to all the staff @ Aqua Nevis. We came here for our first family holiday abroad a few years ago (ignore my travel time below due to limited slections, it was a few years ago & we wanna come back) and are looking to come back in 2017. We had a great time and have fantastic memories here. Great staff & people all round, lovely food and an amazing water park for the kids (and me!). I hope my kids are braver now since older to attack the larger slides! We hope to see you soon (July or August 2017) if I can get it all sorted soon. David CollinsMore
