With its seaside setting, pine-edged pool and serene atmosphere, the Hotel Pical makes a really relaxing retreat.
Thanks to its pine forest locale, the Pical Hotel has a miles-from-anywhere feel – and yet it’s next to a beach and just a 20-minute walk from the old town of Porec.
Modern art murals decorate the restaurants, and the pool areas are stylishly streamlined. The rooms, however, are a more homely affair, with patterned bedspreads and cosy balconies.

Nice location, great food
Old fashioned hotel with very nice pool. The best thing is certanly the food, it is really tasteful with many choices. Also, this hotel is located near the sea and the little train that goes to the town centre stop in front of hotel. Town center is 10mins walk away.More

A great place to stay
Having read reviews before arriving here I was quite sceptical about what to expect as I'd heard the place was run down. However on arrival, me and my partner were pleasantly surprised with how lovely the hotel was. We were checked in quickly and we had a large twin room on the first floor. Although the balcony could have done with a lick of paint, it had great views overlooking the lush scenery and you could even see the sea through the trees. The room was clean and the bathroom looked brand new so we were very impressed. We were staying half board and found the restaurant to be really good with a variety of wines on offer in the evening at a reasonable price as well as a standard of food far better than any other hotel I've stayed at. The hotel outdoor pool was stunning in the sunshine (although it was a little cold for September!) and the pool bar was great for a light lunch and a bit of an afternoon drink. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Porec as it's about a ten minute walk into the centre with a gorgeous walk through the surrounding woodland. There's restaurants less than a five minute walk away, you can hire a bike which I'd definitely recommend, and the sunset on the sea front is not something to miss. The thing that stood our for me the most about the Hotel Pical was the staff. The customer service we recieved was impeccable and we could clearly see how hard the staff were working, so thank you for a lovely stay and if we were to return to the area we would not hesitate to stay there.More

cheated and dissapointed
Very poor value of money. Our room called superior was like cheap hostel room. Old and poorly maintained. When paying with crediti card as a forigner they charge you in euros. So you pay more (they use some strange exchange rate of Zagrebacka bank). They should ask you if you would like to pay in croat kunas or euros. But as the hotel staff told me they charge all forigners in euros. So I was not offered the option to pay in kunas. When I noticed this it was too late. So when paying with credit cart insist in paying in Kunas. On the bright side. Food was good in the hotel. And hotel has nice location some 15 min from old town Porec.More
