The waterpark here offers up a range of slides for all the family to enjoy. Choose from the Hydro Tube 1400 tunnel slide, The Kamikaze, the multi-lane racer and the mighty Spin Bowl. There are dedicated pools for little ones, too.
Just so you know, there are some age and height restrictions you need to be aware of for the slides here.
Age and height restrictions:
- all slides have a minimum age of 10 years and minimum height of 1.2m.
- the Wave Ride has a minimum age of 12 years and minimum height of 1.2m.
You'll find this place on the second floor of the beachfront building. It serves up Italian favourites for dinner, with panoramic views of the sea. You'll need to book in advance to eat here. The dress code is trousers for men.

Still here get back to you all again
So far all ok, taken a few days to settle in Water park absolutely strict no under 10s allowed... don't come if you have kids under 10 who want to use the water park , even though our travel operator said she was sure he'd be allowed.. haha they just want your money and really should know by now that under 10s absolutely cannot use the water park, First choice come on you have known this for ages!More
Lovely week long holiday
We had a late arrival gone midnight and received a snack which was unexpected but a lovely touch. The room - very nice and comfortable. Has a fridge and you need to make a €25 payment to use the safe. Room was always kept nice and clean by the maid. Bar - we were all inclusive and there are a few bars around the place. All staffed by one person unless it's the main bar which has 3/4 people. Drinks were fine and plentiful. Food - Wow. What a choice. Always different, and always great. Anyone who complains about the food here simply must of stayed in a different place. Also noticed the restaurant managers always mucking in as well which is great to see. With all inclusive you also get an evening meal at the Greek Restaurant FOC, my advice is to book as soon as you can as it does fill up, leave it too late into the week and you'll be disappointed. Pool - Not heated. Enough sunbeds to go around. We never hit the pool before 10:30 and always found sunbeds, yes not in the prime spots but then we're not sado's that get up at 6am to save a sunbed! You can go to the beach which is a 3 nanosecond walkaway and pay €5 for 2 sunbeds and a parasol. Sea - Again this is unheated :) Power Station - Yes, it's there, but you knew that already as the information is clearly displayed when booking. I never got a smell from it and to be honest it's only reason I can think of as to why this place doesn't have 5 stars Waterpark - At other end of complex from the pools. No queues when we were there Evening entertainment - if I'm honest it's the only let down. They could do more here but we were quite happy drinking quietly, or watching what they did have General - You'll notice they're always smiling, being cheerful and cleaning here. It really was a great relaxing holiday, and my only advice is to get it booked! We had a late departure and at €80 for an extended room we declined. We were offered use of a room with shower for 30mins FOC. We were out in 20 as all we wanted was to shower and change. Wifi - Excellent coverage. Even by pool and beach!More
Some significant minus points - all inclusive in the general sense alone
We have just returned from the Hotel travelling as a party of 3 (2 Adults, 1 Child aged 10) Arrival & Check In Very, very good. A drink on arrival, porter to room and no issues Room Clean and spacious, very comfortable bed , good facilities and pretty quiet. Child’s bed was rubbish and had all the qualities of a bench. Pools Only 2 pools, and they were a bit cold. Nevertheless we all had a good time Sunbeds Basically unless you reserve a bed by 7.30 you will not be able to sit by the pool. There is a policy in place to prevent reservation before 10, but this is not enforced at all. To make matters worse hotel staff drag the beds from the pool to the beach, so that they can charge you 5 euro for the same bed Beach Average at best. There is a film on the water probably from the enormous power station. Please note that you have to pay to use the beds on the beach Splash Park This is a small park with pretty tame slides. However children under 10 cannot use the slides at all. This caused a constant stream of arguments. It is totally ridiculous but when you check in your child is allocated a band (yellow under 10, blue 10 or over). The number of angry parents and crying children I saw because of this I cannot count. At the Aqua Plus park there is height restriction, but at this hotel they will not budge at all Power Station This is an eyesore. It also stinks of petrol Towels Can only be changed 3 times during the holiday. Could not believe this Shop Very expensive but there is a supermarket across the road Bar & Drinks This was one of the biggest problems with the holiday. There is only ever one barman per bar and it takes at least 25 minutes plus to be served. This seems to be a policy of the hotel to prevent guests being able to order drinks to save the hotel money. Basically it is totally impossible to ever get slightly tipsy unless you give blood before going out or don’t eat for 72 hours The drinks are very, very weak regardless of what you order. There is less vodka in the vodka than in a carton of Ribena. The cocktails are ready mixed but the bar staff spend ages shaking these in a cocktail shaker to waste time. They also spent large amounts of time showing the female waitresses how to make these drinks. Lots of drinks are paid for – Mojitos 7 euro, espresso 3 euro, slush 1.5 euro Entertainment – lack of The entertainment at this hotel is shockingly bad. On many occasions I prayed that my spleen would burst so that I would be rushed into hospital to avoid it. Basically, there is absolutely nothing for the kids to do at all, other than shout. The “shows” involve the animation team putting on wigs or pretending to fart. We have visited other hotels in Crete, and they have bands, singers or actual professional acts. The hotel is unwilling to pay for these so the only entertainment is waiting for a drink for 25 minutes. Highlights of an average evening involved finding a seat, sitting staring into space, and going to the toilet. WiFi Actually worked and was free. This was a real bonus because we had to stream Netflix for something to do whist waiting 50 minutes for a Pepsi Max Food In fairness, it was very good for an all-inclusive and the theme nights were a bonus Check out We paid for the late check out which cost 80 euros. If you don’t do this there is one room available at the other end of the hotel (as far as possible from the baggage store). This room has to be booked and you only get 15 minutes Overall This could be a very good hotel, but is let down by how tight-fisted it is. It needs decent entertainment more bar staff and actual drinks that aren’t disgusting sugar water. If you enjoy paying extra for everything, no alcoholic drinks, lengthy waits, screaming kids, a stinking power station, and standing by a pool without a bed because you didn’t set the alarm for 6am you’ll love itMore
Fabulous staff & immaculately clean hotel
We stayed for 7 nights 25 May - 1 June. George and the reception team made our stay really special - going that extra mile to ensure that we had a lovely Silver Wedding Anniversary! Nothing was too much trouble and they spoke excellent English - well done! We could not fault our room; comfy, clean, flat screen tv, fridge, tea & coffee facilities. The food was really good and plentiful with themed nights too. The Italian restaurant is not part of the all inclusive but I did not like anything on the menu so we did not visit it. The Greek Grill we tried and Stella the waitress made a heart out of rose petals for us for our anniversary meal :)x The grounds were immaculately clean. Yes the power station is next door but just don't look left! The beach is literally next to the pool and bar. I had emailed upfront and requested a high floor, sea view room which was allocated to us on arrival. The only negative was the adult evening entertainment or lack of it which needs to be addressed. I would also give the local train a miss - local graffiti is not my thing. Terry from the Blue Lagoon provides similar/same excursions as Thomson's but for nearly half the price. Turn left out of the hotel and it's a 2 minute walk - take some bread and food for the birds and cats!!! Be prepared for a few more pick ups though - the Spinalonga trip is €35/adult + €8 entrance fee where as Thomson's wanted €72/adult. Heraklion Ventian Fortress is worth a visit on the local bus. Wifi connection is fab even by the pool! Thanks for a great week!More
Dont chose this hotell with kids under 10 year
The room and the food are very nice. But the location is far from anything. We have two kids, a boy age 12 and a girl age 9. One of the biggest reason to chose this hotell was the waterpark. When we arrived we was told that the age limit for the most of the slides had an age limit from 10 and above. Plus 120 cm lenght limit. My girl who turns 10 in a month and are 140 cm was stopped and was told to use the infantarea in the splash area. Infant area!!! This is the only hotell i been to that have this rules. Both age and hight, very very strict. Last year there were a possibilty to fill in a form so the parent took the responsebility for kids under 10 years, but this is now not possible. So, this vacation did not turned out very well. As a family we were forced to split. The boy could use the slides and the girl not. Will never go here again. Chose a another hotell if you are interested of slides.More

Items marked with * incur extra charges which are payable locally
Just so you know, all slides here have a minimum age of 10 years and minimum height of 1.2m, with the exception of the Wave Ride which has a minimum age of 12 years and minimum height of 1.2m. Also, to make you aware, there is a power station located around 300m from the hotel. Whilst this is visible from some rooms and public areas of the hotel, it should not impact your enjoyment of the facilities here.
