This place is in a quiet spot right across from the beach. There’s a pool here, and Elounda is nearby.
This place has a great spot near the beach. And each of the rooms has a balcony or terrace overlooking the pool. Even though it’s self-catered, the barbecue night brings everyone together.
Just over the road is a sand-and-shingle beach. And it’s about 10 minutes’ walk to Elounda’s main square, where there are lots of bars, tavernas and authentic Greek cafés.

Best place in greece
Manos apartments. Clean, friendly with excellent staff. Lunchtime food is the best. Hercules makes the most amazing cocktails and Lorraine always makes us feel welcome. Beach across the road and harbour 5 min walk away. Quiet, peaceful and been back 5 times! Love to all at Manos. Kim & Bob More
These apartments were basic but clean and maintained several times a week. The staff were all really lovely but there are two members of the staff worth a mention. Larraine did everything she could to help make the stay there great and the night barman Hercules was excellent, he made everyone feel welcome and was full of information about Elounda. He definitely made the stay wonderful thank youMore
Great place! Great staff!
My husband, my 2 teenage daughters and I just returned this week form a 2 week stay. We loved the location and thought the 2 bedroom apt was well appointed. I found all the staff very friendly. I would definitely return. We thought we would use the beach opposite more often than we did, but the pool was so nice. Good bus service to Plaka and Aghios. Good mix of local restaurants. Bar was quite quiet although Hercules was very welcoming and made good cocktails.More
The location of the apartments could not be better. At the edge of the town and directly opposite the beach. Stayed for 2 weeks visited various tavernas, never had a bad meal, our favourite was Dimitris in the centre. However... Thomson rep, waste of space! Apartment, we had no 4. It is opposite the eating area. There was very little space inside with 2 single beds pushed together. No where to eat indoors, not even one chair! If we wanted to sit down we had to sit on the balcony and be stared at by all the other guests, some were even quite rude pointing at us whilst we were eating!! There is noise from the bar, so we had to have the shutters down at night, but it can still be heard. Went 3 days without having a cleaner, so toilet bin not emptied, which is not good. Brochure said bbq and entertainment. No bbq, 1 quiz in 2 weeks. It is also a pool bar, so the pool is visited by anyone in Elounda, and not everyone was quite so respectful. Loved Elounda, very disappointed in the Manos apartments.More
Staff are Lovely, apartments not so lovely.
Elounda is a lovely resort, lots and lots of Taverna's, but that's about all I can say about it. If you are looking for any sort of entertainment in the evening such as live music you will be dissapointed. We had a lovely relaxing week, the views are wonderful, nice little Beach opposite. Our favourite restaurant was Cypriana's. Lovely people, superb food and very reasonably priced. Turn right out of the Hotel and it's less than a five minute walk on the right hand side. But to be honest, all the places serve the same menu at the same prices, so take your pick. So to the apartments. Well, Spotlessly clean, good maid service, nice pool Bar serving delicious snacks, and well priced. As has been said Hercules at night is great, so too are the two ladies throughout the day. It states on the Thomson website that apartments have a separate lounge area with a sofa bed. Certainly not true in our place, and talking to other people, their's were the same. No sofa, just a single bed in the kitchen area, with a plastic table and two chairs in it. So nowhere to sit, apart from a patio chair. Bathroom. Shower tray was the size of a postage stamp. I'm not a big bloke, but you ended up wrestling with a shower curtain. Also for the ladies, there is a distinct lack of power points for hair styling equipment. If you are going with children, don't expect a TV. There isn't one. Balcony/Veranda is off the bedroom, not the lounge as there isn't one. So sitting with a coffee on the veranda means you have to go through the small bedroom everytime to make one. Not ideal. When I booked the Holiday, I thought I got a reasonable deal at £900 for my wife and I. If I had booked it 48 hours later it would have cost me £1800. I would have been mortified if I had paid that money for this place. No way is it worth it. We opted for a taxi transfer instead of getting the coach, and it is well worth it at around 80 Euros as it takes over two hours. Return from Heraklion is interesting. The Airport is a dump, totally unorganised chaos. Would I return. No, not to Elounda and certainly not to Manos. We are not party animals, but a little bit of evening entertainment wouldn't go amiss.More
