Not the all inclusive as advertised. Poor quality food in main restaraunt very repetitive and unappetising. Best advise is to eat at many of the small tavernas in the village, they're accesable along the beach or the road away from the hotel. Stevens on the hill has scrumptious food , approx 150 yards down the road. As for the sun beds...........many of the guest are up at dawn to reserve them, taking no notice of the hotel requests not to , so by 8:00am you don't have a chance. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN.More

This holiday was all about the service...
Firstly, I would like to say that when I first arrived at this resort, I did not expect it to be so mountainous. At first impression (for the first 2 days) I struggled immensely with travelling everywhere by foot. I was overwhelmed with the beauty and attention to detail of the resort but I was definitely deflated with the amount of up-hill travel I had to embark on every day. So, I decided to go to the Guest Relations manager Dawn, I was definitely a bit overwhelmed by the situation and all I wanted to do was find another resort, which she was accommodating to help me find.. BUT... She also explained to me that all the buggies (that we had to take our luggage to our rooms on arrival) were also for guests to travel around the resort, we could call one at any time and get a swift easy way to enjoy the luxuries of the resort. I explained to Dawn that this should be made public knowledge as no one was completely aware of this. We went on a trip to Albania and when we returned there were phone booths at all pick up points around the resort offering a buggy service to escort guests around. For this we became the famous "Buggy Boys". We ONLY became this because Dawn listened to us. We take no credit, this is the true work of a person who wants only the best for her guests. All bar staff, catering staff and hospitality perfectly attuned, Roula foremost credited, Georgia made us feel like kings, Dawn made us feel like queens (being a same sex couple we have never felt more comfortable abroad, we have recommended and lots of our friends they have visited since, not all same sex couples by the way, don't worry lol). If this resort had the same staff every year we would be regular visitors, we are not the type of couple that likes to go to the same place twice, but this resort sincerely was the only place we have ever been (and we are well travelled) that we have wanted to visit again, but purely for the staff and the luxury it offers. Attention to detail is the upmost priority here. We have recently been on several other holiday's and not had this level of professionalism and comfort and it made us realise that we really do need to leave a review on trip advisor for Mayor La Grotta. Trust me, I never leave reviews, purely because its down to everyones own personal experiences. BUT this experience i'd be willing to share with all, I thank the hotels attention to listening to what visitors require by having a constant Guest Relations Manager to deal with all the needs any visitor requires (sorry to be a pain when we were there Dawn, but thank you for listening and making our holiday the best holiday we have ever had.) Just simply do one simple thing, seek out Dawn once you arrive, your holiday will be perfect. Enjoy. We can't wait to return.More
The view is amazing
Fantastic hotel, great staff, good food and a view that you never get tired of! Every room has an amazing view, the rooms are clean and modern...although the bed was not as comfortable as I would like. The bookable restaurants are lovely and breakfasts in Perla restaurant is something you can book in for more than twice! I would definitely go back :)More

Amazing resort and welcoming staff
Me and my partner stayed at this resort in July 2017. The holiday started with a few issues that were promptly rectified by Dawn and her team. The hotel is set in a beautiful mountain, the hotel is spotless and the staff are so accommodating and made sure our stay was perfect. We were lucky enough to get 2 weeks of clear blue skies and beautiful weather; the animation team were great and encouraged us to participate in daily activities. Dawn (Guest Relations Manager) made our stay, she was so helpful and dealt with every problem we had, there was no problem too big and she made it look flawless. I will say that Dawn is the most accommodating member of staff at the resort and is amazing at her job, she made our holiday. Roula that worked behind the bar made every evening special. She was so kind, thoughtful and always made you feel welcome. All of the bar staff were friendly and made you feel welcome in any setting, apart from the grumpy bar man on the beach bar/pool bar. We had a few issues with the sun beds; however the hotel (....well Dawn) was proactive by implementing the âno towels left on beds in a morningâ rule. If you could not get a sun bed then Dawn, the amazing beach boy and fabulous life guard would make sure that you had one. The beautiful Nikoleta was the perfect host and made sure that all youâre a la carte meals were booked. She was so kind and always available for a chat and provided information about the resort and outside services. All of the staff are amazing, they welcome you to their country/resort and treat you like one of the family. I love Greece and Greek people; they have truly sincere and kind hearts. The resort was at times difficult to get around due to steep hills and steps; however this was being dealt with when we were leaving. Telephones were being put up in all areas in the resort so that you can call for the ââBuggy Manââ, it was a quick service always provided with a smile. The Ocean Breeze (I think) was amazing, itâs the only place on the resort that you have to pay for but itâs well worth it, the food is perfectly cooked and presented. Georgia is an amazing waitress and made us feel so special; it was by far the best service I have received in any resort. The food in general is at a good standard throughout the resort. If you go to this resort make sure you go on the trips. Albania was an amazing place to visit, fantastic day out. Also, the âdiscover Corfuâ trip is fabulous, even though I lost half a stone sweating like a pig on the bus. Well worth the sweat I would say, lol. This resort is well worth a visit and one of the best in Corfu, if there is anything wrong then just ask the staff and they will make your holiday special.More

Dawn Doukas said she would sort out who stole my wifes engagement ring from our room, confirmed threedyaff had been in when we were out but since we arrived home they say cannot help we do not employ staff with criminal record. Which means they have not been caught yet to get one and we have lost a precious item and this year is our 30 wedding anniversary ! Ruined by thieves Thank you Dawn Doukas so kind to our face but once gone ....dont want to know bad publicity. So be warned the thief still roams about as staffMore
