Fabulous family fun
We have been to this resort twice. 2014 and 2015. However we tried an alternate resort in 2016... Much to our regret. As for AQUALAND. Here's a simple review. 1. The hotel is comfortable and clean with friendly, helpful staff. 2. The food is plentiful and tasty, although the children's menu need to be improved as far as choice goes. 3. The pools are clean and have a decent temperature. 4. The Animation Team are brilliant and they put on plenty of games and activities during the day. In addition they provide the evening entertainment, so all in all a very hardworking group of people. 5. The Waterpark is within a minutes walk and has enough slides to please one and all. 6. The Wave pool is out of this world and probably the best we have ever been in. 7. There are plenty of trips to jump on. We will definitely return.More

Based on the photos when booking I wasn't expecting much. Boy was I pleasantly relieved when we turned up. Had a ground floor apartment that was really spacious and veranda that just feet away from the pool. Towels replenished regularly and floors swept and moped daily. They offer pool towels which can be changed daily for a deposit which is returned, certainly saved dirtying ours as we were there for 2wks. Food was plentiful and we always found something to eat. My 8yr old loved the pancakes from the outside snack area and loved that she could help herself to ice cream between 10am and 6pm. The wave pool was fun and great that the hotel supplied inflatable rings. The water park being included was fantastic as my 12yr old could come and go as he wanted as less than a stones throw away from our room. Loved the fact I could go for a run everyday in the gym and the owner was really friendly. Lots of treatments available so I treated myself to a back massage which was so relaxing. Overall a great place for the kids! Would definitely return.More
Visited Aqualand Reaort for a 1 week holiday with partner and 2 children aged 7 and 14 in October 2016. Hotel and grounds are kept very clean, rooms are great as we had the separate bedroom upstairs which was nice. Food became repetitive, 1 week was definitely enough. However, both girls found something to eat at each meal as there is a decent amount to choose from, they especially liked the pancakes and chocolate at breakfast. Soft drinks weren't branded but they were ok, alcohol was poor and all served in tiny plastic cups, all watered down and tasted cheap. Entertainment was good during the day for children, always something going on if they like to get involved. In the evening there was children's entertainment on the roof terrace which was poor, this finished at 10 and there was nothing else to do after this. Waterpark was still open all day although due to October being the end of season it does start to open shorter hours so make sure you check. There is a vast selection of slides for all ages, no queues at this time of the year. Due to a storm one night there was a lot of debris floating in the pools and lazy river which nobody bothered to clean. The wave pool is brilliant. Overall, we wouldnt return to Aqualand as there isn't enough to do and the hotel is very isolated. We got a very good deal on this holiday, if we had paid a lot of money we would have been very disappointed. More
All the ambience of a caravan Park!
This hotel is in the middle of nowhere and is only a going concern because of the waterpark. You will see on arrival a modern desk (housing some nice and some rude staff) in an otherwise poorly furnished area. The bar is next door which is similarly furnished a few old sofas and hard wooden chairs and tables, very clubhouse. Outside nextdoor is the shop which if you have children you will be making frequent visits as anything worthwhile has to be purchased , we bought lemonade as the vending machines only have the cheapest of cheap drinks. The beer is weak but palatable the spirits could strip paint, there are only two cocktails on offer but their neon glow was not appetising.Tea coffee and water are from the macines, ice cream is from a tub and self served into cartons. Again the main restaurant is close by, this is too small as the tables are always dirty as the staff cant keep up with demand. The food is average with some show cooking , ...queueing is essential. There is no one to greet you so it is all a bit of a free for all. Pleasant staff who work hard . There is another AI restaurant but you have to book a day in advance for the pleasure of overlooking the wave pool with less choice and wasps for company. There are wasps everywhere many carcasses displayed on the bar in large jars with water and hundreds waiting to join them. My son was stung in the mouth whilst enjoying a snack!!. The rooms vary you may find your children on a sofa bed for the week or more, divided from you by a half wall whilst some have single beds and two floors, , they are averagely clean, like mould in the showers but always clean towels. There is a fridge Kettle and microwave nothing to put in them! There is an entertainment bar be prepared to queue at the bar that is if you can get a table, childrens popcorn has to be purchased. Limited snacks are available and chips (with or without a wasp!) The water park is fun if in need of a bit of TLC past it's glory days. The wave pool will give you blue feet as the paint comes off! nobody seems to clean away the plasters etc but it is good fun. Rooms by the wave pool are central for most things.Ground floor is best. Not worth a hefty spend but OK if you get it cheap cheap!!More
If you have an allergy stay away
We stayed for two week in may and before even booking the holiday I contacted the hotel and tui as my yongest son has a dairy allergy we where told it wouldn't be a problem and when we arrived we had a chat with the chef and explained exactly what we needed unfortunately this is not what we got the food was terrible when we asked for a jelly for our son which was the only desert he could have we were made to wait 35 minutes with a 2 year old and our other 2 kids in the restaurant for it to arrive on one occasion I confronted the chef as there didn't seem to be any dairy free options and was told the fish was dairy free but on further digging was informed that the source contains margerine even after consulting our rep this still continued the joke of a dairy free packed lunch image attached was not even funny we had to get the bus to corfu town to get him some food on a daily basis we might aswell have gone self catering I have contacted tiu on numerous occasions since the holiday and the First response I got was to apologise about the cleanliness of the hotel of which I had never complained about this is a nice hotel but not suitable for anyone with an allergy and tiu as a company should hang there heads in shame for putting people's health and wellbeing at riskMore
