September 2017 :-(
Accommodation:- Very basic and could do with a bit of TLC. Shower in an appalling state and leaked all over the floor and out of the bathroom into the Kitchen. Drainage problem too. Plug socket hanging off wall and air conditioning unit noisy and remote didn't work. Pools:- Both pools could do with a clean. Cigarette ends in the Kids pool which we had to dig out on frequent occasions also plastic cups. Sun Loungers could do with replacing and left over toys just left in pool at night. Food/Drink - Was ok but not great. Very repetitive. The children's high chairs are very dirty and ended cleaning them ourselves with baby wipes before using. We just didn't enjoy dining out of an evening. They have a separate restaurant that you have to book but again no atmosphere noting different on the menu, no knife and forks on table. I just didn't see the point of it. I would just close it down. Drink: - Beer Warm and flat. Self service drink machine surrounded by wasps and again not nice. Everything served in plastic cups. For an all inclusive hotel not everything is all inclusive. Slush Puppy drinks for kids come at a cost, pop corn come at a cost. Never ever have I ever been to a hotel and had to pay for additional items. Wine warm and very sour. Crepe Bar: - Great Idea and the demand is huge. No support really for the chef having to stand and cook around about 300 plus a day. You can make your own toasty's but be careful they are not the best toasty makers and could do with replacing. Animation Team: - They could really do with financial support. They mini discos for kids could do with more variety. Majority of the kids preferred to just run around on the stage. They could do with new equipment, decent uniform and more support with entertainment. I really did feel sorry for them. The shows in the evening were shockingly bad. Reception Staff: - Very pleasant but when you arrive you have to check in and then lug your own luggage to your room after travelling four plus hours. There should be a meet and greet service where they do this for you. If you are allocated a top floor room please note that there are about 14 stairs you have to attempt with luggage and push chair if you have children. I would not rate this as a four star more like a two star plus.More
Brilliant Family Holiday!!
We stayed here as a family of six, in two twin rooms that slept three. The rooms were on the small size but were kept clean and beds were comfy. We were on the ground floor and had a lovely grassed area out the front for the children to play on. The hotel isn't five star but the whole site was clean, even if it needed updating and refreshing in some areas. The waterpark was brilliant and kept everyone entertained with a great selection of slides for all ages. The wave pool is amazing and is where we spent the majority of the holiday. Lifeguards were attentive and children were safe playing alone. Food was really good for an all inclusive with a great selection of food, where the children always had some thing to eat and even the vegetarian of the group always found something as well. The fresh crepes were amazing and worth the wait and the snack bar had toasties, chips, ice cream and other snack available all day. The entertainment wasn't great for anyone over the age of 10 but we enjoyed laughing along at the acts. That said the bingo and fire show was a good night. You need to get a table before 8pm if you want to watch the entertainment as it got really busy in peak times. On site shop is good and all necessities available at a reasonable price. The bus offered a free shuttle service to the beach and to Corfu town. Both worth a trip and were great days out. The beach was beautiful and sun loungers and parasols available for hire at a good price. Water sports were great and a really good price, with inflatable rides only €15 each. There was also an inflatable assault course in the sea which was also really good value for money. Sea is really clear and great for snorkelling, even though there were only small fish available to see. Corfu town was lovely and some great shops if you venture down the side streets. Overall we had a fantastic holiday (apart from all the wasps, which can't be helped) and I would definitely recommend it to others. Some people appear to have really high expectations of a holiday but for the price it was a brilliant holiday which the kids loved and I would definitely return. More
DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL
Me and my family were attacked by 5 vicious dogs owned by someone who lives facing the hotel! They let them roam the street day and night and there have been many attacks (this was by the admission of the hotel reception themselves) For some reason, nobody who works at the hotel has done anything about this! If you value your family, avoid at all costs! Luckily, my 2 girls are 8 and ten and i managed to protect them! They were terrified! If they were any younger they WOULD have been killed! This is NOT an exaggeration! Please if you've already booked stay well away from the entrance and DO NOT venture outside!More
There are some really good parts to the resort and some just breaking average. The slide resort is great for all ages and the kids ( under 18) although I did it is well(53). The accommodation is really struggling the walls are so thin you will here arguments 2 apartments away. Also we were "sold" an apartment for 5 but only had 2 double beds which meant the kids had to sleep together, that did not work. The pools are fantastic you have access to at least 6, also no huge rush for loungers in the morning. Sadly the entertainment in the evening is funny but not because you are made to laugh. It is you laughing at them, no good opinions from the majority of those we spoke with but its not compulsory However the food was good to excellent across 2 weeks and only occasionally lost the odd dish, but my son said " It was the best fish he had ever had"More
Outstanding Family retirement holiday!
We stayed here a family of 7, 4 teenagers and 3 adults during August. The apartments were very clean to high standard. The cleaners came every day to change beds and provide clean towels. The apartments had air conditioning and beds comfy. The food at the hotel was good and plenty of choice of food meat and fish. They had fresh fruit breakfast, lunch and main meals times. The pool side snacks had crepes made to order and toasted sandwiches which you cook yourself and cheese & onion rolls and sausage rolls, chips etc. The water park was fab, plenty of sun beds even at 2.30pm! and was free aswell. You have to pay for drinks, snacks etc in the park but we went back for lunch time and took water with us. There is plenty of room around the pools as there is a wave pool which doubles as a swimming pool, again plenty of sunbeds to choose from. We walked around the complex and all the apartments were nicely situated and couldn't complain about the choice of any of them, lovely settings. There is a shop on site that sells souvenirs, toiletries, batteries etc. Also there is a ATM machine situated outside the hotel. To go to the beach you need to book your seats the day before to secure your place. Also the same for Corfu Town. We had an amazing holiday and would like to come back in the near future.More
