Just returned from 10 days here. The location is great - very quiet area. There's nowhere really to walk to from the hotel but that didn't bother us. It's on the most gorgeous sandy beach with the sand going all the way into the sea but be warned - it gets red hot. We had a swim up room which is great. We stayed around the main pool mainly as we like to see what's going on and it's near the bar but it was great to return to our own pool at tea time and carry on swimming. The swim up pools are only used by the guests who have the swim up rooms so nice and peaceful. The room was comfortable and kept very clean. There's a mini fridge which had some soft and alcoholic drinks at the start of the holiday but only the bottled water is replaced every day. There is a partition door between the double bed and the sofa beds. The bathroom had maybe seen better days but was clean and the shower very powerful but no hot water in the morning so shower at night. There's also a DVD player so take some DVDs as only 2 English TV channels. The food is excellent with a huge choice every night. The restaurant was busy but not hectic with outdoor tables overlooking the sea but if you sit out you will get pestered by wasps - a lot of wasps ! They're not aggressive like the U.K ones but will pester you a lot. Same around the pool. Staff - everyone extremely friendly. If there's a drink you like but can't see it ask them and they will do their best to do it. Evening entertainment a little disappointing but I've never been on holiday yet and thought " hey - that was great " ! Plenty of sun loungers but still, the same old thing of getting up early and reserving them around the pool but the beach usually has some free up to about 11 o clock. Water sports right next to sunloungers with usual jet skis, ringos , pedalows etc but you have to pay. €45 for jet ski , €15 for rings , inflatable "sofa" ride and flying fish !!! Hotel has a shop but quite expensive ( no surprise ) but go along beach 2 mins and there's 2 or 3 " super markets " selling beer , wine , crisps , beach stuff and inflatables ( a few euros less than hotel shop ). The only negative point - and it's not a huge gripe - is there is a safe sat in every wardrobe in every room doing nothing and yet you have to pay €3.50 per day to get the code. WHY ??? It's in the room already. It's like having a chair in your room but not being allowed to sit on it unless you pay extra. This isn't the 1st hotel I've stayed in that does this but for the life of me can't work out why you can't just use it ???? Overall I would definitely return to this hotel and I've not said that for along time. The next Greek holiday- we're back !More

Stayed for a week in mid July. The hotel is quite out of the way but in a beautiful location on a sandy beach surrounded by mountains. On arrival we were checked in quickly by very friendly staff. The room was spotless and the cleaners were very thorough every day. It was simple but modern, would be nice if they had some toiletries rather than just the dispensable soap. The pool was clean and a good size but we spent most of our time in the sea where the water is so clear you can see the sea bed. There were lots of loungers around the pool and grassed area on the grounds and on the beach - we always found some. There's also water sports available at the beach. The food was fantastic - fresh and beautifully presented and so much variety every day (not just at dinner but also at the snack bar by the beach). You can also book to go to the Asian restaurant, we foolishly left this quite late so didn't have time to go a second time. The food was amazing!! It's 5 courses and absolutely delicious. My only feedback is that there was a bit too much food and I didn't want to waste any of it as it was so good. Particular mention to Sofia who was so lovely and attentive and made sure your glass was never empty. There hotel is 14km from Corfu town and the hotel provides a free bus, you just need to book at reception beforehand. Only negative of the hotel was the internet wasn't great. The Thompson reps were lovely with lots of local knowledge. Really great hotel with brilliant staff (from restaurant, bars, management) who really want to help and make your stay the best they can.More

Great relaxing getaway
Great hotel, with an excellent location and helpful, friendly staff. Rooms - clean and comfortable. Those at the back of the hotel might not get the great views, but they do benefit from being cooler in the afternoon. Those at the front get the views of the beach and the pool. The air-con was a real boon in the hot weather. Location - All I can say is: for two adults and a 16 year old looking for a relaxing time - perfect! Hotel pool is next to the beach and the sea. Make sure to pack some shoes for the beach - its so hot in the afternoon - you've gotta run (sprint) for the sea! Food - Definitely a 9/10. Food was great - good level of choice. The Japanese fusion Restaurant - MURA - scores 11/10 - its part of the all inclusive but you can only book to go once a week - don't miss it - it's Eastern food tailored to a western palate, done to a really high standard. All inclusive drinks - free 'til midnight - enough said! Animation team - First weeks animation team (entertainment) we thought were okay/ pretty good - they changed after the first week and in came a new group who were exceptional - the young lady doing the aqua-gym (think.. wake up - shake up) worked SO hard and never stopped (I don't remember having that much energy at 20 something!) - Team leader was Bogdan - also thanks to Barbara. The entertainment was very much take it or leave it, but we enjoyed it, and the evening shows had something for most people - Greek dancing / Il Divo clone / Magic act / Brazilian dancing (?) / Quizzes.... WiFi - This was free and fast enough, but when 300+ people get on their 'phones between lunchtime and about dinner it can get rather stretched. Others - the free shuttle to Corfu town (twice a day) was ideal for shopping and exploring. Overall a 9/10 - we will definitely be going back.More
Lovely and relaxing if you want a holiday away from it all
Firstly we were one of the lucky ones that booked a swim up room and got it for the whole of our holiday. It seems that the hotel are deliberately overbooking all classes of rooms to fill the hotel and we were constantly hearing people complaining about this all holiday. It a big problem that would put me off rebooking this hotel again as it seems you are not guanteed to get the room you have booked which is just not acceptable!!! The hotel is in a lovely location with beautiful views and a lovely long sandy beach. The staff are all very nice and work very hard in keeping the hotel clean and guests happy, especially the 2 George's and other staff at tbe beach bar as they are a great team. There are 4 more bars/tavernas along the beach from the hotel and also 3 very small supermakets which are located behind these bars/tavernas. The food is good and plenty of choice for all. The courtesy bus into Corfu town is well worth going on for a change of scene. Air conditioning in our room was not very good but we got used to d a great holiday and we would love to return if the overbooking issue is sorted out.More
