Tranquil, flower-filled gardens and a peaceful spa set the tone at the Louros Beach Hotel & Spa.
This place is as pretty as a picture. It’s made up of whitewashed, terracotta-topped buildings, with wrought-iron balconies wrapped in flowers and vines. The gardens are freckled with rose bushes and topiary trees, too.
Kalamaki’s big, sandy beach is just a couple of minutes’ walk away, and there are bars and tavernas a little further on. Plus, Zante Town is within easy reach – just 10 minutes in a taxi.

Nice Clean Hotel
Nice hotel grounds especially gardens. rooms clean and good quality for 3 star. reception staff friendly however found bar staff very miserable throughout. also cleaners very loud from early in morning dragging stuff around. we literally found it hard to have a lie in, it's bad enough hotel been on airport runway listening to planes without cleaners making absolutely no effort to keep noise down.More
A very magical place staff are excellent. Nikos the owner works so hard in the gardens which words cannot describe. Go Go the manager goes the extra mile for her guests. Rooms are very welcoming, we have just got home after our 27th year there, anyone booking will not be disappointed. The beach is so close although the pool is lovely. Also the pool bar serves a good variety of meals all made fresh.More

our greek getaway
very nice hotel quiet chilled clean good customer service...rooms basic as you would expect but nice and clean. Would say its for adults only not much for kids to do. We have been 3 times and always had a good pleasant stay. Would recommend to anyone wanting to relax with a book this is for you. Short walk to beach and again short stroll to shops and restaurants. Cant really come up with any negatives for this place.1 thing maybe the maids came round a bit early if you wanted a lie in..More
Away from it all
Arrived at the Louros Beach on 23rd June, wanting a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle. First impressions were great as we were made to feel welcome form the moment we arrived. We were shown our room, which was on the ground floor towards the rear of the hotel, overlooking the manicured gardens. Room was clean and tidy with a modern feel to it. We knew there would be some aircraft noise as we were only about 15mins from the airport. However when aircraft come over it is an amazing sight as you can almost shake hands with the pilot LOL. We unpacked and made our way to the beach, did not fancy the pool as the usual suspects had towels on the sunbeds with no one in sight !!! (wish they would stop this). Any way the beach only a 5 minute walk and was fantastic with only 2 rows of sunbeds and plenty of space to get the hot sunshine. The sea was very warm and really shallow, fantastic if you have kids, although all the water sports were 20 min walk along the beach at Laganas. The bar at the hotel is really nice with some unusual things hanging from the roof. Breakfast is a bit hit and miss really, as sometimes there was not a lot of choice, surprisingly only tin peaches (where's all the fresh fruit) on one day then mostly cooked meats and cheeses, oh there was always hard boiled eggs, I made this my morning staple breakfast with some toast, (really wanted fresh fruit tho'). Hotel food was really good, Greek Salad is huge but really lovely with those tasty tomatoes. It was here that I found my fresh fruit as requested this for a lunchtime meal (needed to take in some vitamin C to remove the alcohol from the bloodstream!!!) This was also really good and refreshing. Other food looked really nice as well. Serve all branded drinks and cocktails are made fresh none of that premix rubbish. The pool area is really nice however did not get any breeze so like a sauna when you stayed around there. The spa looked nice however did not try any of these as we wanted to just do our own thing, which we did, the hotel staff are accommodating without being over zealous, we enjoyed our week and cannot wait to return. Any of the restaurants along the 'strip' are good. one of the restaurants by the name of 'Family' hold a Greek BBQ night, this is worth a visit. Try dancing to Zorba the Greek, they love you to join in. Of the many types of food the Kleftico is an absolute must, along with Stifado, Moussaka (traditionally Zante people make this with beef), and Pasticio (this is long macaroni with a mince beef top then coated in Béchamel and cheese and baked, a proper filling meal. Portions are on the larger size so beware of your expanding waistline when you return to the UK. If you want to chill out in an evening, turn right when you reach the strip and either take a stroll or take a horse drawn cab towards the mini roundabout(about 20mins walk) turn right and go down the road the is a nice little bar on the right, which has a motorbike outside and serves cheap drinks Bacardi & Coke and Gin & tonic 6 Euro in total , be warned though as you will have to speak to each other as there is no Wi-Fi in this bar LOL. Back to the hotel Louros Beach. we put out our towels as you do to dry / air them off to find that in the morning they were not dry, can only put this down to the watering system being a bit lively when watering the grass and plants. Did not spoil any thing, and the planes although can be a bit noisy do actually cease around 11pm, again we did not notice this noise after a day. They do start again around 8am, again did not spoil it for us. All in all a most gorgeous holiday, superb hotel with lots of lasting lovely memories. Hopefully going back next year.More

I have already stayed at the Louros before, but we decided to come back for our 1st anniversary and again were not disappointed. Only hotel I have ever been to that looks exactly like the brochure, it's clean with a big pool and pool bar, it has everything that you would need. The staff are very helpful and friendly even gave us a complimentary bottle of prosecco and flowers to celebrate our anniversary.... a nice touch. Genuinely love the place I will be going back More
