Lovely Hotel, lovely staff, quiet but good half term week :-)
We were relocated from our original hotel the Posieden to the Cala D'or 10 days before flying but decided to upgrade to the Zante Maris instead as reviews for replacement hotel were bad. So glad we did, Zante Maris was very clean and staff were lovely, especially Jo, Kostas and Georgia. Last week of the season, so not many places open nearby and not much entertainment in the day for the kids, but thankful for the indoor pool when it rained at the beginning and end of the week. Bingo and quizzes in the evening with a Greek night thrown in, Bathrooms and beach bar/disco bar needed a bit of refurbishment, but all in all a nice hotel. We had room 227 pool/sea view an would thoroughly recommend, easy access to pool and near to beach and beach bar.More
Spoilt or what
Half term hol so expected it to be rammed. Turned out to be less than half full. Fantastic place with exceptional staff in particular Jo the entertainments officer who really took to our teenagers and made our hol very special. It rained for first 2 days with a fantastic thunder storm and then for the last day. In between we had glorious sunshine lolling around the pool till well after 6.00. Hotel closed for the season as we left and we were told it was to be re-vamped. A bit of TLC was a good idea but should be great for next year. Not much to do for little ones with no children's club and only pool table and table tennis for older ones but indoor pool and gym were great when weather not good. Went on a trip round the island for a day which included a boat trip to blue caves very good but a bit overpriced as no lunch included and the restaurant we were taken to was pricy. Guide on this trip, Kay, was excellent. All in all a brilliant holiday with really good food and plenty of choice. To find things wrong was difficult and only trivial things come to mind. All inclusive stops at 11.00 pm and drinks are 2 euros each after that which is a bit expensive for a small beer and cokes.More

Good hotel made fantastic by the staff
The hotel is clean with plenty of room for guests. We stayed in the jacuzzi room overlooking the beach which was well worth the extra money for the fabulous views and the space you get. Because of the time of year (October) the outside pool was really cold and there went many excursions to go on (not the hotels fault). It is a little tired in areas so if you want perfection then it may not be for you, but you will not find any dirty areas. The best bit about this hotel is the food and staff. I was there with a fussy child and he managed to find things to eat every night. The staff couldn't have been any more helpful, they looked after us from the day we got there till we left. Special thanks to Jo, Kostas and Georgia for looking after us.More
Stayed at Zante Maria first two weeks of July. Excellent location, beach bar amazing, had most of our meals here. Only downside was staff to eager to clean tables and leaning over you whilst still eating just to pick up a plastic cup. Rooms are very dated and definitely not 4 star. Food was very good and available all day. John from beach bar was amazing and was always polite, knew what you wanted after 1st visit. Room cleaned daily and clean bedding every other day. Entertainment was not the best but not far to walk into town and enjoy the bars. Would definitely visit again due to location.More
Yet Again ....
We've just booked our 4th year running at the Zante Maria Hotel. We wonder why this pulls us back year after year.... it's the staff. Sooo brilliant at their jobs, always smiling, helping, advising, they're just brilliant. Arrival to welcoming hugs, smiles and a sense of relaxation. We absolutely love this hotel. See you 2017 for another fab holiday. Love to all xx Mary and MarkMore
