Not only is the Atlantica Porto Bello Beach smack bang on the sand, it’s also got its own waterpark.
This place has got its own waterpark, so as well as a massive pool you’ve got the full rundown of slides and chutes, plus a lazy river.
The hotel sits right next to a sandy beach, which has a fleet of pedalos as well as a kids’ playground. Bedrooms are done up in blues and creams, and they all have a balcony or terrace.

Not impressed. Family rooms are in need of updating. Broken tiles, mixer tap shower with limited hot water, no English channels on tv, air con very loud, bedroom separated by slatted partition (not suitable with a 12 year old daughter), no water in the fridge, no tea/coffee facilities, hair dryer from the 70s the list goes on and on. No air conditioning in the lobby area and the balcony terrace could do with ceiling fans. Towels taken off sunbeds if you are gone more than 10 mins. Flies and wasps galore. Area around the pools in need of attention as the pointing to the pavement is breaking up. Salt water in the pools. Food is average but occasionally undercooked due to demand. All in all very disappointed. Won't be going back. More
Family of 4
We've just come home from a fortnight at the Porto bello beech, easy check in, very happy with our room, family room with big double bed and 2 separate singles, only comment on rooms is they could do with updating but very clean, house keeping do an excellent job, Great resort and very helpful and friendly staff, only downside for us was if you didn't get up in the morning at silly 0'clock you'd struggle to get sun-beds around the pool , Water park was fantastic, we spent everyday there with the kids, the annoying part is the water park is advertised as part of the resort which you pay for as part of the package holiday but the all-inclusive doesn't apply there, you have to pay for food and drink, I disagree with a lot of the negative reviews of this hotel concerning mosquitoes and flies being out of control, we didn't get bitten once in 2 weeks, yes there are some flies about but no more than you'd expect in a hot climate, didn't bother us at all. The beech is good and the sea is great for kids, very calm, The food in the main restaurant is good with plenty of choice, You have to buy bottled water which is a first for us in an all- inclusive holiday,I feel this should be free. We did feel that the entertainment in the evenings was pretty poor, they advertise children's disco, which you'd expect to be playing music with disco lights and dancing, but it's nothing like that, they end up counting to 3 in different languages all night, the quality of the shows could be improved as well, The discos down at the beech bar where the best nights, kids and us adults really enjoyed this, Overall we enjoyed our 2 week stay, Hotel could do with upgrading to make it feel like the 4 star we paid for, More
Great for kids
A kids dream, super waterpark on your doorstep that we popped over the road to everyday, even if just for an hour to blitz all the slides as literally no queues, free pedalos and canoes on the beach, luvly pool area. Food also solid, plenty of choice for even the fussiest and staff service is second to none, pot of coffee or a beer/wine on your table as soon as you sit down. Only negative in my opinion was some of the adult evening entertainment though kids show at amphitheatre was generally quite fun.More
Great hotel and hard working staff
Great hotel with good food and hard working and cheerful staff. Well located with Beach and good water park. The day trips out are well worth the money including Myths & Legends, and the Aegean Cruise.More
Realy good time even with an earthquake
We had 7 nights here and we were a bit worried after reading some of the previous reviews - well all I can say is that all they did was make it even better for us as it was so good we are looking to go back next year We arrived from airport in around 15/20 mins , straight into check in which was quick and easy , we walked to our room 352 which was an ideal spot for us , close to everything + overlooking the pool , within 5 minutes the man arrived with our bags at the door , rolls water + fruit for us in the fridge on arrival The whole place is clean , cleaners work realy hard from the rooms being cleaned daily with fresh towels , to the pool area + restaurant + the beach area Food was amazing , so much choice for breakfast then a load of fresh salads and lots of hot foods to pick from as well as the kids buffet which my 6yr old loved - so many puddings , only advice lose a few pounds before going as u will definitely put a few on here haha Pool was big + clean , saltwater but u get used to this quickly , small pool for kids by it , pool bar good with friendly staff + good to have music there not loud as some have said Beach was amazing , with beach bar with friendly staff from morning until the night , made use off the pedalo's +kayaks as well as paying to use jet ski + para cending staff there realy friendly Restaurant staff really friendly + after a couple of days they knew the drinks order so they were ready as we sat at the table Lobby bar good to sit and have a drink , again staff really friendly , wifi in the lobby as well Water park was really good , had so much fun there , slides were very good Entertainment team wrk so hard all day , from kids clubs to water football in the day to the evening shows at night or the party's at the beach bar , yes some of it is in foreign but that's as the hotel caters for every1 - our son enjoyed most of it + if not we went down to the pool area or the beach bar where they have music goin on Overall I can't realy think of anything apart from maybe th tv in the room not havin any English channels but then we only realy showered + slept there as we had so much else to do Also want to say how good all the staff were during the earthquake + aftershocks which followed , they were calm + reassuring about it all + tried to keep every1 from panicking during these times As said hoping to book again for next year for our 10 yr anniversary +hope to have the same room Thanks for a great wk Mr + Mrs j Martin + JacobMore
