You’re within walking distance of Faliraki’s town centre and beach here – and back at base you’ve got a full-blown waterpark and a massive pool.
It’s no surprise this place has bagged a TripAdvisor certificate of excellence – not only has it got its own waterpark, but there’s also a huge pool, 2 restaurants, and a jam-packed entertainment line-up.
When it comes to location, the Sun Palace is on to a winner. Faliraki’s sandy beach is only 10 minutes’ stroll away, and it’s the same to the town’s bars and restaurants.

Great hotel, lovely people just a few gripes
Had a lovely stay here and wish I was back. Room was a family room in block 4. It was alright. A bit dark and very dated decor especially in the bathroom but it was spacious, spotlessly clean and adequate for our stay. There is aircon, hairdryer and a fridge. By the way their hairdryer worked better than ours and I think it was something to do with wattage so don't take your own. Breakfast is the best meal of the day here really, as much as there was choice it did become a bit Groundhog Day with the lunch and evening meals, so we decided to eat out a couple of nights and hired a car for a few days. Greek night is by far the best night food wise, other nights were a bit hit and miss but you generally will find something to eat each night, even for the pickiest of eaters. The deserts were nice as well. DON'T bother with the A La Carte you get a free voucher but there's nothing new in there and most of us didn't eat the main as it weren't great quality. The red wine was Devine though...20 euros wasn't bad for it either Drinks were a bit crap but they always are in AI hotels. The beer though was nice as was the wine on tap. The soft drinks were so sticky and quite rank but the kids liked them. Water Park was a lot of fun as you'd expect, clean towels upon entry, the chutes are great and the wave pool a lot of fun too. The lazy river isn't quite lazy as all you had were kids bolting round it and pushing the people on rubber rings out of the way. Or you'd find a kid squashed between an inflatable and the wall. All a bit hectic, but this is a family hotel so roll with it 😁 The pools in the water park were a bit filthy (a lot of scum on the sides of the wall) I don't know how difficult it Is to clean these on a regular basis but they weren't touched in the 10 days we were there. Food at the water park is ok, pizza is the best thing they serve. Watch the chicken...make sure it's cooked! The fizzy drinks machine had so many bees buzzing around them but bees don't bother me in the slightest just glad they weren't wasps. I have to say I was appalled at the choice of music in the water park. They don't really pay attention to the lyrics...there was a lot of put your f@cking hands up and what the F@ck in the songs. We had 2 kids 5 and 6 with us. Not really what you want them listening to. Pool areas. I soon found that if you don't get a sunbed by 7.00am you won't be getting one for the rest of the day. I felt so embarrassed going down early to reserve sunbeds but believe me everyone was at it and way earlier than 7am!! There are signs but no gives a flying F!! We only managed to get sunbeds for 4 days out of the 10. Animation Team. These guys are great. I didn't see much of the girls as they were mainly doing the kids club and ours just weren't interested in going but they seemed lovely. Big shout out to Lamar!!! He is a born entertainer and had me in stitches. Great stretch and aqua aerobics sessions and he normally chooses the music during the day around the main pool. OMG he played the Kings of Tomorrow "Fall For You" Sandy Rivera track LOVED IT!!! Oh and if there was any swearing in the songs the team muted the sound. 👍🏻 The team always came round getting you involved in water sports, table tennis or footy but you didn't feel pestered and they left you alone if you said no ta. The bingo was a laugh in the evening but we didn't see much of the evening entertainment as we hired a car and explored Rhodes. We did see the Jersey Boys which were fab and a bit of the fire dancing which was good too. We wanted to have a late check out and were told to come back 24 hours before check out, only to be told to come back a few hours later, then another few hours later then finally told we have to move rooms in another building on the other side of the main road. Bit of an inconvenience and for 50 Euros a bit of a liberty. They do however offer you a room with a shower for 30 mins at a designated time to freshen up. We chose to pay the extra and move to the different building so we could relax and get dressed at our own pace. All in all this hotel is great and I would definitely return. Can't fault the staff or the location. If you fancy an evening meal out or a decent cocktail go to JDs just outside or venture on to the beach to a place called Gala Seaside Kitchen. These places are awesome for food and really nice cocktails with superb service.More
Good All Inclusive
We've been on a few TUI all inclusive holidays and overall this is probably the best so far. Some of the hotel is a little dated but it's the cleanest I've been to. We stayed in one of the older rooms but it was fine. For an all inclusive the variety of food and drink was good. The beer was okay and they did a variety of cocktails too as well as plenty of soft drinks. We enjoyed the evening entertainment, especially the Fakir show and the gymnastics group. There is a big water park here which is great for kids. Lots of sun beds too so if you're up early or at the water park when it opens 10 am you'll have no problem finding a spot. Plenty of activities for the kids and some for adults too by the main pool. Everyone mentions the pizza and it is tasty. We did the Rhodes by Night trip and the Bee museum and butterfly valley trip. Neither cheap but both worthwhile. Especially enjoyed the butterfly valley - amazing. Take a walk to the monastery, the views are wonderful! Faliraki itself is a town I might have enjoyed when I was 18-30 but not for me now. Full of tourist gift shops and bars/clubs. Some restaurants too that I might have visited if we had not gone AI. Overall a great hotel with friendly staff. Make sure you go to Rhodes old town.More

Great value for money
This hotel seems to have learned from all the negative reviews from other hotels and got theirs spot on . Incredible variety of food considering the market they are in with very friendly staff . The rooms are basic as expected but clean and very comfortable . My only very small gripe would be the one a carté evening which was disappointing as I thought their normal buffet food was of better quality . I would absolutely stay here again . The surrounding beaches , bars and shops are a very short walk away making it a perfect family destination . Top marks and thanks for a wonderful holiday More
