This is a relaxed spot next to a sandy beach, with a pair of pools to recommend it.
Location-wise, things couldn’t be better. Steps lead down to a sandy beach, and the hub of Pefkos is 5 minutes’ walk away. In the same time, you can be at the local bus stop for trips to Lindos and Rhodes Town.
It’s all about the pools here. The hotel has two of its own, and with a pair of sister hotels as your neighbours, the count rises to five. Between them they offer swim-up bars and a poolside restaurant that’s highly rated.
This hotel is part of our 3T favourites range until April 2017.

Wedding visit with a large group
Wedding visit with a large group, the group was split between all 3 hotels which make up the complex. Annoying that our first night of travel means we had to check out at dinner time on our last night and not be picked up until 3am. we spent one night at Finas hotel just down the lane as it was cheaper to book one night there then pay for late check out at pefki. Finas is a much better hotel, bright colourful modern rooms, waterfalls, day beds around the pool. The newer hotel rooms in the island blue part had a much nicer feel to them much more modern. The rooms at pefki felt very dull and dated especially the bathrooms which were tiny. Breakfast boring and repetitive, always had to ask for tables to be cleaned away and track down own our cutlery. I liked that you could use any of the 4 large pool areas. We tend to use the one at Linda Thassla as it was better suited for smaller children. Pool areas at pefki are dated lots of ants around but I believe it's been updated for 2017. Chicken gyros at pool bars worth a try, you get loads and it's a good price. Wedding was a lovely day, perfect venue and the staff were great. So much effort from the planner. Some great cocktails at the Elia restaurant, best I've had in a while. Our little boy was poorly and the staff were great, got cleaning staff out to us quickly following a large sick incident due to tonsillitis, and arranged for a doctor to come out quickly. So many great restaurants close by, lindos worth a visit too, very pretty area to explore. More
My family and I (mum, dad, 11 y/o and 16 y/o) booked this last minute and it was great. From the moment we arrived (in the middle of the night) to the moment we left. All the staff, including the cleaners, we're so friendly and eager to help. The pool bar men were great, really chat and attentive. We stayed for a week in early august and there are two pools, one seemed to always be a bit louder and have lots of children in while the other was a lot calmer although it wasn't an adults only pool. Everyone else staying there was very nice too and we all made some friends. Our room was looking onto the busier pool and it wasn't a problem at all. The rooms/ apartments were very spacious, we had a double room, a kitchenette, two ensuites and another room with 2 single beds. There was a tv in one of the rooms which got some basic british channels, the kitchenette was well equipped with appliances, crockery and cutlery and had a table and chairs for 4. The maids kept it all very tidy and replaced all the towels, sheets, toiletries etc. They'd always knock before entering and seemed happy come back later if you weren't ready for the room to be cleaned yet that day. I think you have to pay extra for a safe and aircon but it wasn't expensive and I think worth it and wifi was free and decent connection. The beach is a 2 minute stroll away, down a lot of steps, but a beautiful, quiet beach with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. Theres also a lovely restaurant called the Philasophia which is about 3 minutes walk away and it looks out onto the sea, gorgeous views, great food and lovely staff and they have fairy lights on the trees when it gets dark. Theres also another bar which was quite and also nice, on the way to the philosophia. Theres one supermarket just across the road from pefki island and another two at the top of the hill, as well as loads along the strip with restaurants, bars, clubs (a lot of them have pools you can use too!) Pefkos is about a 15 minute drive from Lindos, which had some nice little souvenir shops and tavernas but the beach there was a bit dirty and the water wasn't clear like at perks. However there are donkey rides and water activities at lindos, lots of fun. Overall I cannot fault it, everyone was great and we had a lovely time. Some of the friends we made were staying at hotels near by and said they'd much rather have stayed here. Highly recommend!!More
After spending years going to the usual family holiday destinations like Spain, Lanzarote, Ibiza, Costa del Sol etc we were so impressed with Grease. The flight was about 4.5 hours from Dublin and transfer was about one hour. The hotel/Apt's are simple fantastic. We stayed in a 2 bed which comes with bathrooms and showers in each room. We found this a big plus as the kids had there own space and bathroom. The bedroom size is amazingly large. Location of hotel was very central. Literally 5 minute walk into the town of Pefkos. Pefkos entertainment by night is 90% restaurants. So holiday entertainment by night is very relaxing based around restaurants. I wouldn't say the town is dead at all as there was always a good buzz about the place. The quality of the restaurants were top class. We stayed for two weeks and ate out every night. As the first week went by we always said to remember this restaurant as we would be back in the 2nd week. However because the food was so good we never got to eat in a place twice. We did find a nice street which had a few bars with pub grub and live music as in the four tops, the beatles, tina turner, Abba etc. Have to say they were a very high standard. The street was down the hill where the t-shirt printing shop is. A trip to Lindos is a must. We went by taxi which was 8 euro. Done it by night and by day. Day time can be very hot. A trip to Rhodes town also is a must too. Best way to get there is by public transport which is at the top of the hill outside the hotel. Rhodes by night is lovely also but can be a bit scary as you can easily get lost and there are a lot of beggars around. Glass bottom boat to Lindos is a definite must. Travel over by boat and get the bus back. Book this on the street shop as if you arrive on spec you may not get on. Don't book anything through Thomson as the general feedback was it was a rip off. Especially the trip to Rhodes town by night. One couple we knew ended up leaving the group and made there own was home. which was more money. The beach is only 3 minutes away walking and is stunning. Water is always warm. We went to the beach one evening with a bottle of wine. Sat on the sun loungers and watched the sunset go down which was simply beautiful. Great bar on the beach called flyers at the bottom. Lovely to have a cold bear and a lunch looking into the sea in the afternoon. It's the area were alot of newly weds get there photo's. Majority of people are English. Very few Irish. No Irish bars. Not commercialized. We are booked again for this year. Overall I'd give this holiday an 8.5 out of 10. Only real negatives are Wifi not great in hotel. Air con in hotel you have to pay extra. Think it's 100 euro per unit so a two bed cost 200 which is a bit much. Greek night not great.More
Small and Friendly?
A little late in writing this review as we holidayed here last June. Just a few things to summarise our stay. It's fair to say from the start, we would go back again in time to come. But remember the world is a big place, waiting to be explored.. Found the hotel to be very clean and tidy. The grounds and areas around the apartments where also very well kept. The 2 pools areas we used where also clean And tidy. As a couple at 5'9" and 6'4".. we did find the sun loungers a little small.. there were some that were larger than others, but these were few and far between.. Noticed as the day went on.. the pool areas didn't get cleared of empty beer bottles, cups etc.. so if you're a late in the day type sunbather, you'd find yourself clearing the tables before settling down to sun worship. The little tables around the pool areas could've done with being replaced. Some had old posters taped to them which had faded in the sun, others had been glossed with paint to try and spruce them up a bit, but the paint was peeling away quite badly. As with most reviews, it's only fair to say the pool sun loungers had towels on them by 8.30am most mornings, unless it was a change-over day. Then it was much quieter. As for the rooms.. very nice and spacious. Balcony areas lovely, I requested a room with a view and had the view downhill of the rest of Pefkos and the mountain that lit of with the 'Eclipse' nightclub logo projected each evening. Found this hotel to be popular with larger wedding parties. I really have no issues with people making noise and having a good time, they are on holiday at the end of the day!.. BUT, if you like a bit of peace and quiet by the pool then this hotel might not be for you. Found the on-site supermarket at Lidia Thalassa to be well stocked and reasonably priced. The staff in there were also very friendly. Pefkos itself is lovely. It's purpose built, as in not a traditional town or village with the locals living there etc. You need to go to Lardos or Lindos to experience that. Been to Pefkos twice now and still haven't tried all the restaurants and bars. Local bus takes you to Lindos, it's too far to walk unless you're an Olympic athlete that's recently trained in the Sahara desert. More
We stayed here last May there were 8 adults in total, the hotel is amazing! it was our 3rd time back in Pefkos and had never stayed in this hotel before, but could not fault one thing! We have booked up again to come back this May and cannot wait!More
