A first-class pool scene that’s just a stone’s throw from the beach is in store at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa.
This hotel has a spot on its own white-sand beach. It’s surrounded by acres of tropical garden in the north-western corner of Jamaica, and a half-hour drive along the coast will take you to Montego Bay.
The complex is made up of grand, colonial-style buildings painted in subtle pastel tones. Interiors are just as impressive – public areas feature majestic columns and wrought-iron chandeliers, while rooms are spacious and elegant.

Well where do we start. Took 4 hours to get our room. Internet was worse than ever. Maids came at 8:30 at night but not until we called everyday. Maintenance worked in the Bathroom 5 or 6 different times. Shuttle bus drivers refused to let us on several times. Food was subpar at best. Service was lousy throughout the resort. No one would take responsibility, everyone we complained too said they would report it. Tried setting us up on a meeting to buy into their club which we refused to attend, if their new Hard Rock Hotel is ran the same way it will be a lousy place. Supposed to refil the mini fridge in the room daily but when that guy doesn't show up there is no service that day, I guess no one else can do that technical job. Large pool and Nice beach. We had a 100% better time when we stayed at Beaches the first time we visited the island. And I do not expect a reply because I see when you have negative comments they do not care. We spoke to several guest at the resort during our stay and seems like the majority had experienced the same type of problems the we experienced.More
Wedding at Lady Hamilton- SUCCESS!!!!!
We recently had our wedding at Lady Hamilton. It was a wonderful experience from the start to the end. We were greeted by Movian in the front lobby, she was truly amazing and welcoming. She assisted us with everything we needed and made sure our departure was smooth and easy. The hotel itself is beautiful and everyone can find something to do during the day. Adult pool, kids water park infinity pool, sunset cove beach, coral beach, beach by the main pool or secluded beach by the grand palladium side , so many choices. Every beach has a different vibe, bar and snorkeling opportunities. Our wedding day was perfect! Meloney Kerr was our wedding coordinator and she made sure that everything went according to the plan. It was the best decison to have our destination wedding at Lady Hamilton!!! For our ceremony for chose Gazebo Location-absolutely gorgeous, highly recommend it. After the ceremony we had dinner with our guests at Xaymaica Restaurant- again success! the set it up in a secluded part of the restaurant so it felt like a private event. After dinner we had beach bash at sunset cove beach! What a blast- IT'S A MUST! everyone had an amazing time dancing on the beach to great music, enjoying drinks from a private bar and appetizers that were included in the package. Again- Best Choice for the wedding party after dinner. ( we had a group of 24 adults and 2 children) Overall we could not have had a better wedding! Thanks to everyone at Lady Hamilton , including True Colors Photography ( had a blast during our photo session)More
Our holiday in paradise
We are travelleres from the UK and stayed here as young couple all inclusive for two weeks and can honestly say it was the holiday of a lifetime! The complex itself was MASSIVE and we feel as if everything we could possibly think of was catered for because of this- just keep reading the map! I mean put it this way...the place has 8+ restaurants, 15 bars and a very large infinity pool and 3 beaches. The restaurants are included and the spa treatments cost but gets charged to the room. The rooms have modern decor and are designed beautifully with comfy large beds. The maid's worked very hard at keeping our room beautifully tidy with clean fresh towels every day. We never got the name of our maid but we stayed in room 3709 from 1st June and she was lovely! The whirlpool bath is amazing. There is a mini kettle, hairdryer and and iron provided with large TV. The mini fridge is stocked up daily and bar staff will take requests... for example they were happy to give us milk for our tea! MINOR ISSUES with overall stay: -Check in was very slow when we first arrived and the staff were taking phone calls while dealing with us -The air vent in our bathroom leaked one night from our ceiling into our whirlpool bath with dirty sandy water but maid cleaned this for us straight away and we then didn't experience the problem again -The plug socket behind our bed didn't work? FOOD: (You will never go hungry!) Breakfast: Breakfast you have a choice of 2-3 buffet restaurants. From our experience breakfast is the same every morning however we loved the omelettes and hash browns! Lunch: There is the choice of the buffet restaurants where they do amazing paella and stew dishes...pizza ect. Or you can find yourselves in the Sport Bar which is american themed such as cheesy nachos, hot dogs and burgers. By the poolside they have a BBQ hut which is what we had most lunchtimes as the burgers are so juicy! An ice cream and hot dog trolley will also make its way around the pool. Not forgetting the JERK CHICKEN! This can be found on one of the beaches Sunset Cove and is the best chicken ever...only if you like it spicy! Dinner: SO many places to choose from! We were lucky enough to be able to do most of these at least twice. Our favourite was the Lotus restaurant. Be sure to book the teriyaki experience where they cook the food in front of you! The chefs are brilliant! Other but that you do not have to book the others but there may be a long wait to be seated. We found that Bubba's steak house was the hardest to get into. We finally did after waiting 45mins but was worth it! We had a waitress named Lateysha and she was lovely...steak was perfect. We loved the Indian, Mexican, Seafood and Italian! Drinks: Many cocktails on offer ...i don't think there would be one they wouldn't do...but the different bars may serve them differently. ALSO TRY THE COCONUTS! I was obsessed...they are down the far end of the pool...past the kids pool in a 'Beer Hut'. They don't get served everyday but when they do its at 11am and you can add rum and ice to the inside of the coconut if you wish. Where we spent most of our days was Sunset Cove Beach ...purely because this was the beach of activities. The pedal boats are part of the all inclusive and you can go far out to see wonderful sites and you can do snorkelling included also (you just have to pay a deposit in case damaged) ...there are so many fishes to swim beside. I had my hair braided at the spa and it was done very professionally and at a good price. TRIPS: We booked our holiday with Tui and did an excursion of swimming with dolphins. This was just down the road fro where we were staying -DOLPHIN COVE. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND. BEST EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIVES! Overall service from staff was great and there is always someone around to help with things and many friendly faces! The shows in the evening were great and professionally choreographed with amazing talented dancers. Jamaican themed night where it continues in the bar upstairs was great performances also. WiFi was not a problem for us either...we were amazed how it reached to the beaches sometimes and around the pool! The scenery of the hotel is idyllic and many weddings were happening here because of this. It is a hard place to fault so thank you Grand Palladium for being our best holiday yet (:More
Beautiful Property, Amazing Ocean Views, Top Notch Staff
We stayed mid-June and have nothing but great things to say about this resort. Starting with the beautiful and well-kept grounds. They were always cleaning or grooming the property. Although parts of the hotel showed its age, overall it was a beautiful resort. Obviously the ocean views were outstanding. From every angle you had almost unobstructed views of the ocean, and the sunsets were picturesque. Now the staff. They truly make the resort what it is. Always smiling and joking around with the guests. We never met an unfriendly person and they all acted like you were a guest in their home!!More
All support staff was fantastic.
All service was excellent. Special workers that especially made our stay great, were Abigail Hines, and Aleiko Wright. Very memorable. The grounds were very beautiful and we felt very safe in the surroundings. Highly recommend this resort. John Vastano.More
