This hotel is in a secluded spot between beach and mountains – no wonder Johnny and June Cash used to live here.
This luxe hotel was once an 18th-century sugar plantation. It’s right on the beach, just 20-minutes’ drive from Montego Bay. One of the buildings here was Johnny Cash’s holiday home for 30 years.
The site may be old, but the amenities are state-of-the-art – you’ve got a championship golf course and a themed waterpark. Then there’s the à la carte Italian with an outdoor terrace.

If your looking for a Hilton Honors experience you won't get it here.
We just got back from a 5 night stay at the Hilton Montego Bay with our 12 and 14 year old. If you are used to a Hilton Honors experience you will NOT find it here. There is nothing with this resort that resembles a Hilton except the name on the front. The rooms are super small, only one outlet in the whole room and one in the bathroom. There is not even an outlet near the bed so the alarm clock or your phone is way across the room. If you ever went to the Honors desk it was never attended. There is no value in being an honor's member here. We had rainy cloudy weather which meant you couldn't use the outside seating at night. they did nothing to accommodate where you would sit to watch the shows or sit at the one an only bar due to it being wet. We even left the all inclusive resort 2 times just to have a something to do knowing the shows didn't start till 8pm and there was no place to sit before hand. the water park is over rated. they don't have enough tubes for the lazy river. we waited for 20 min. 2 diff days to get on and no one would give up there tube knowing there was a shortage. the maids were very kind but slow. we didn't get our rooms cleaned till almost 4pm each day. the free water sports were great. the servers that walk around the pool area are very slow. they only come back with your drink if you show them you will tip them. If my kids asked for a drink and didn't show them money for a tip they never came back with it. The hotel choose peak season to paint the walls in our hallway and take out doors. everyday we had to walk around drop clothes and paint fumes. We have traveled with our kids to 6 diff. countries and always stay at reputable 5 star resorts. We were wrong in thinking we would get a Hilton experiece like we do when we stay at Marriott's in other country's. we were told we would have a garden view but got a view of a blue roof. the resort is at best a 3.5 star, it was clean and food was good when you got reservations at the better restaurants. the lines to get into the buffet are long as they are very slow to bus the tables. If I were to go to Jamaica again I would not stay here. we heard people all around us talking about how small the rooms were and were also trying to get upgraded. This resort has very few suites so everyone we talked to that had kids with them was irritated with how crammed they were.More
You simply can't go wrong with this resort! I loved that the staff was always smiling and willing to help. The food is excellent for an all inclusive. This was our second time staying here and it was even better the second time! The new additional beach was a terrific add to the resort! Loved it!More
Our Tenth Visit!!
Our family has just returned from our 10th vacation at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort and Spa. We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank many of the outstanding staff at the resort. One of the primary reasons this resort has become our second home is because of the hotel's culinary staff. The chefs at the Hilton are able to create amazing and safe meals for our fifteen year old son, Jay, who has life threatening food allergies to all dairy and egg products Special thanks: 1. The outstanding Chefs: Chef Chino, Chef Lloyd, Chef Basil Grey who made delicious and safe meals for Jay 2. The Fresh Staff: Denny, Anna Kay, Sandre, Leisa Joy & Annie Kay who always made sure our needs were looked after with grace and hospitality. 3. We would also like to acknowledge Aston at Mangos and Samantha at the Bar King Frog who provided exceptional service. 4. We would like to thank Ingrid, the front desk manager, who ensured that our hotel room met our needs. We appreciated her patience and professionalism. 5. Last but certainly not least, we would like to acknowledge & give a huge shout out to Mr Sam( Michael Samuels, Luna manager) who continues to coordinate all aspects of our second home to ensure that we always have a wonderful and relaxing stay at the resort. Thank you all again for a fabulous experience!More

Fantastic family resort
We just got back from 6 days at the Hilton Rose Hall, and like the first year we went in 2016, it was a very relaxing enjoyable vacation for adults and kids (13 & 16) alike. Rooms are clean and well kept and there is a lot to do at the resort for all ages. We traveled with 2 other families, and finding a table at dinner for 11 was not always easy, but when possible, we were accommodated. Highly recommend Three Palms for dinner - Smiley took good care of us there. Also, Moonstone is worth the wait at dinner and look for Kenrick for great service and some entertainment to boot. Peter Martin plays live music a few nights a week, which we all really enjoyed. Adrian really made our cabana experience wonderful - as he promised, he spoiled us. Jerk Shack was new this year and Mark offered up delectable lunch with chicken and pork being equally delicious.More

A Wonderful Stay at a Wonderful Resort
My wife and I and another couple recently spent a wonderful week at Hilton Rose Hall. The property is large and very well maintained, the rooms are very nice and the amenities exceed anywhere else we have been in the Caribbean. There is a beautiful, big swimming pool, a large and fun lazy river pool, which conveniently abuts a large swim-up bar, and a very large beach (which I suspect was recently acquired by the Hilton, since it is beyond the lazy river and not shown on the hotel map). We were on an all-inclusive program, and the food and drink offerings were very good to excellent, and nicely varied - there is a great buffet, and 5 other restaurants ranging (in dress) from beach wear to Caribbean casual, all of which were included in the package. The only extra cost food option was a romantic dinner at your choice of location on the property (we chose the wedding pavilion). We had surf and turf; the lobster tail was large and and perfectly prepared, and the filet was possibly the best steak I have ever had. Bottom line: if/when we return to Jamaica, we will not do any hotel research - Hilton Rose Hall is the place for us.More
