This hotel offers up cabin-style rooms surrounded by tropical gardens. And it’s just a short stroll from a white-sand beach.
This beachfront hotel’s got a great spot in serene Runaway Bay. It’s a short walk to the town’s restaurants and bars. And at the hotel, accommodation comes in the form of little wooden cottages.
There are sea views from the main pool and the waterfront Asian à la carte. Or you can get a prime shot of the ocean from the cocktail bar. Down at the beach, there’s a range of watersports, too.

Decameron exceeds my expectations. The food was good, the staffs were professional and friendly, they clean the room on time and the nightly entertainment was great. The only hiccup was the length of time it took to be served at the grill.More
What took us so long!
We wanted somewhere special to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary and we found it. The hotel is not a 5 star but it makes up for it with the beach setting and the staff. Always smiling and always more than happy to help. This goes for all the staff including gardeners maintenance and security. We booked a private transfer from the airport and used Paul Williams. It was great to be in a comfortable vehicle after the long flight especially when we spoke to other guests regarding the coach transfer. We would recommend Paul if anyone is considering a taxi. Check in was quick and easy all done by Darren. The cottages are very nice with a big bedroom separate bathroom and a closet. We were very lucky to have a fridge in our room which was useful as we have medication which needs to be kept cold. Our cleaner Pauline Brown was lovely and happy to assist with our needs. We found the food in the main restaurant to be good and there was always plenty to choose from at every meal. They do have themed evenings such as Jamaican International and Spanish. One suggestion that I could make it that the lighting for the evening meal is no great there is just one candle on the table. I noticed that one group had an led torch wish we had brought ours. We found the beach near Jasmine Delta was quiet and this is where we spent most of our days. You can snorkel from the beach and there is lots of see you do not have to go far out. Take beach shoes in go in the sea as there are lots of sea urchins and beware the jellyfish! But don't let this put you off. We had lunch most day at The Jasmine Delta it serves pizza hamburgers and hotdogs. The staff were great especially Thelma. We went on some diving trips which we had arranged before we left the UK. We dived with Colin Bullock, a small outfit, we had a great time with him. He was calm and very patient coping well with 4 divers. The sites we visited were excellent and the visibility was great. We have found a great friend in Colin and would not hesitate to dive with him again or to recommend him to anyone else. On the evening of our wedding anniversary we dined at the Jasmine Delta (which is a la carte in the evening). On arrival my hubby surprised me with a beautiful vase of flowers and champagne. He had arranged this with Meisha from guest relations. One of the ladies and we are so sorry but we cannot remember her name sang "For You" to us. This was so beautiful and the words were so appropriate it brought us both to tears. What a wonderful way to celebrate our special day. There are far to many people we have to thank for making this a memorable holiday but the management of the hotel should be extremely proud of their staff. Once again thanks to Colin for the diving, Paul and Anthony for the taxi ride and the welcome we received from the staff we will be back.More
Great food, lovely setting but rooms not up to standard.
Food 5* Staff 3* Rooms 4* The food was amazing, especially in the Jasmine Delta. The staff were not always too helpful. The entertainers around the pool were very annoying. The room was very basic, I was expecting more for the money it cost. More
Not sure where to start..Our only down sides was the Thomson transfer from the airport which maybe couldn't have been helped..we will never know and the bathroom but on our last couple of days found out that eventually all the huts will be renovated eventually,Our room 118 2 huts from the beach was amazing ,a ceiling fan, air con, huge bed, bottle of water everyday and the worry of a cuppa in a morning was never an issue as the sun was up and so was we drinks machine on the main bar breakfast from 7am then beach more food from 12 drinks from 10am on the Booze Liner bar with the lovely Odette Palmer who makes the bestest cocktails the beach was kept tip top the security guys were professional. The whole network works like clockwise which is a credit to Pedro the manager who we had met before in Cape Verde .Due to personal circumstances we went on no trips ,there are a couple of local shops where we purchased our gifts and I did Scuba dive with the help of Marvin who advised on Sharkies on Salem beach(10 mins away) I celebrated my birthday while away with a complimentary bottle of fizz which was a lovely surprise , not sure what else to say apart from we loved it could go on forever commenting we did feel safe walking off the grounds just say no thankyou if any one bothers you .If the chance arises we would go again tomorrow YaMon!More
Lovely Hotel brilliant Staff.
Myself and my Husband had a 2 week holiday 28th February 2017, We stayed at the Royal Decameron at Runaway Bay. The first few days was very overcast a storm had blown over from Cuba. The trouble with all Hot country holidays if the weathers not good its quite difficult to keep yourself amused, The animation were great and tried their hardest to keep holiday makers busy. If you like a daytime drink there are plenty of bars and the spirits, beers and cocktails (also non alcaholic) are all local but don't taste cheap. Our favourite bar was the Booze liner bar where we sunbathed all day with Owdette the bar maid making our fruit cocktails and topping our water bottles up when needed. She always had a smile for her customers. Thank you Owdette. Lunchtimes was always entertaining after the first couple of days we went for a walk along the hotels beaches and once we found the Jasmine Bar where the food and drink was served with a cheeky chat with Max who came to serve us each day, Max is a great asset to your hotel Thank you Max. The other staff I'd like to mention are Tevin in the main restaurant he greeted us with a quick chat about our day serving us with ice cold water and getting us a drink of our choice mainly wine with dinner. He was so attentive that the seating area he served was always busy and hard some nights to get a seat. Thank you Tevin. We always went to dinner later so while we finished our meal the evening band had started playing and what great shows the hotel put on, we never saw the same show all through our 2 week holiday. The food was all edible with a huge range of choice each Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner. There was a young girl trainee whilst we where there named Teaca she will get on well as very polite and friendly to guests Thank You. I loved the all our trips the Dunns River water falls was so busy as quite dangerous but you have to get in and have a go but I'd advise you start half way up as the start at the beach is quite dangerous water shoes must be worn as so slippery and you have to squash under a roadway above and the rocks below. Not for the faint hearted. The Bob Marley 9Mile trip was great we heard from some people that the coach ride there was too dangerous but on our experience the driver needed to drive haphazard as the craters in the road shook the bus to bits, All Trips are expensive but you have to do then or we would of gone stir crazy sunbathing a full 2 weeks and you need to see outside complex. Our only negative is The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, we like to have a walk out but theres only a dual carriage way out of the gate and a tiny super market. Wish there was more places to walk to, All in all a great all Inclusive get away.More
