I won this trip with my employer Prime Comunications. It was amazing. The customer service was superb and everyone was very friendly. The hotel was very clean and kid friendly. I would have to say this was my best vacation very.More
I was disappointed with the food. There weren't many options and the quality of the food wasn't that great. Their spa was more like a day spa. It didn't have a jacuzzi, steam room or sauna. I upgraded our room to rock star level and I felt it was a waste of money.More
Hard Rock Cancun S&L 2017
I love the HRHC for many reasons. I love the amenities that the hotel offers - several delicious restaurants, a spa, a pool with two swim up bars, a fitness club, beach volleyball, beach areas with chairs and umbrellas, a special third floor pool area with an outdoor grill area. I could go on, but those were the most memorable. I love the white sand beach and swimming area with a lifeguard. Also, the Members Only on the beach with cabanas and top notch service is the best! Shout out to Jenny at the Fitness Club for giving us her undivided attention and giving several small group fitness classes for us at the last minute. I wish I remembered everyone's name, but we enjoyed our service from the staff on the third floor grill area, including Adolpho. Ramos provided top notch service at the beach area. Our butler Ramon was very attentive and appreciated. On the last night of our trip, we enjoyed live entertainment in the Smash Bar and then DJ after. Overall, the food, entertainment, service, hotel and weather made this one of the best vacations! I love it there and always look forward to going back.More
Well Worth the Stay
This property is favored over venues that are as large as small cities. Self contained in a building with restaurants inside and outside. The spa lacks an area for hydrotherapy but it was big enough to accommodate your schedule of services. I found the food was better than in other Hard Rocks I visited in the area. I venture to say that quality suffers in a large venue. It is appropriate to distinguish the Mexican restaurant Freda. The Captain/Manager, Martin, runs a very good shop. He makes sure the patrons are well taken care of and is more than willing to surprise you with a special request. For this of course, he needs the support of his chef Antonio. He is tops. Talented and eager to please. We had talked about a favorite dish with him but we did not have many more days to stay to get it on the scheduled weekly special. However, that wasn't an obstacle. He offered to make it the following day if we wished to return. And return we did! He was waiting for us with the classic dish. He put out an excellent product. We had met a local family vacationing there too and we shared that the chef was preparing the dish for us the following evening. They liked and knew about the local dish. Unbeknownst to us, they went to the restaurant the next morning and requested if he could prepare a few more dishes to include them. They were also delighted with the preparation. My kudos to Martin and Anthony. All in all these folks made our stay that much more enjoyable. It was our first visit to this Hard Rock, but not the last. I am planning a return trip. About the beach: The sea was a bit rough all throughout our stay. It is characteristic of the area this time of year for sure. Don't forget to sign up for a tour or two of the parks in the area. It is an experience not to be missed! Enjoy!!More
Spring Break over Easter Holiday
Everything about our service at HardRock was delighful. The staff is amazing and the food was generous and excellent. I also would like to give a shout out to one amazing pool side server Conchi Ramirez! She is awesome! The rooms are a bit crowded with the unneccesary jaquzi tubs and only double size beds when you have 4 adults to a room.More
