Great vacation !
The Hard Rock Cancun is a fantastic place to vacation. Beautiful, upbeat and lots of fun activities to enjoy. Two employees deserve special praise for their outstanding service - Arturo, our waiter in the Zen Restaurant for breakfast and Ramon, our butler. Both men were extremely attentive, knowledgeable and very pleasant. They cared and always went the extra mile to ensure our stay was in one word - fabulous. Kudos to both of you for your commitment to providing WOW service ! More

Family Spring Break
The Hard Rock Resort is a very nice all inclusive Hotel. This was our first vacation to Cancun and staying at an all inclusive resort. Staff is very friendly, tipping is appreciated. Check in was smooth until we met with out resort services representative. The representaive was friendly but the meeting was lengthy when all we wanted to do was get to our room and get to the beach after a long day of traveling. The representative wanted to explain the resort credits (we did not receive as we booked our vacation via an airline package) and try to get us to attend a meeting about becoming members of the Hard Rock family of resorts. We tried each of the restaurants as we were there for 7 nights; all were very good. Our favorite was Ipanema and Zen; we thought the breakfast at Zen was the best. Pool chairs got "claimed" early, if you want a good spot get out there early. We did not use any other of the activities geared towards kids as we have a teenager. He did get somewhat bored just sitting by pool/beach, fortunately there is parasailing ($58US), jet skis ($65US/half hour) on the beach and boogie boards ($20US/day) to rent which helped entertain him. We used the fitness center which met our needs for the week and played basketball on the court. Bus stop is right in front of the Resort which was very handy; $1US/person each way. Room was comfortable and quiet. Had issue with AC which was fixed very promptly. Room service was quick. Fridge was kept stocked and will fill with your favorites per request. I would recommend the Hard Rock Resort.More
Awesome staff and beautiful resort
My best friend and I decided to take a week and relax. We chose HR Cancun because of my palace premier membership and we were not disappointed. I think saying the view was amazing is obvious. What we didn't expect is the above awesome service we got from our rep, Oliver Peraza Avila. I think this man actually lives there because anytime we needed anything, he was there with a huge smile and a friendly attitude (and trust me dealing with my friend is not easy in the least!!). Thank you Oliver for making our stay comfortable and making us feel like your home is ours!ð I look forward to seeing you again!More
a really good experience!!!
My wife and two boys ( 7&10) went to Hard Rock Hotel for 7 days. It was a college spring vacation and we thought it would be very loud and crazy. Well , if was loud during the day ( to be expected) but quite ok during the night. No problem. The rooms have very good sound proof. This Hard Rock Hotel ( and the rest of the Cancun's hotels and hospitality stuff) should be sooo proud of hard working people that are serving this area. I mean, those locals are unbelievable in their effort to please you form the day one you arrive to Cancun.. We travelled to many places all over the Caribbean but , when it comes to sincerity and hospitality, no place come even close. The hotel stuff is fabulous. We particularly noticed Claudia and Gustavo that went out of their way to help us whatever we needed. To help us decide what to visit , wether to take cab or bus, where to take kids to etc...all with the genuine smile ! If they lived in US, I'd hire them on the spot! The guests are offered all kinds of services while around the pools or on the beach...ice creams-no problem.Activities for the kids- no problem . Drinks-no problem.Get umbrella - no problem. Every night music show...daytime,too.. It was ,actually , so nice to see that someone really tries hard to make you special .. all the time! Property is well maintained albeit a bit tired ( I guess bc of number of tourists they serve all year long) . The only two reasons I didn't give Hard Rock hotel five stars ( I am, perhaps, to picky) is that the food was always a bit cooked to much ( it could be a personal choice) and there was no place one could have a really good espresso or cappuccino ( unless walking to nearby Ritz ) . Yes, they had one machine in the lobby but this was in no way match for one Nespresso machine that could be placed in one of many bars.... All together , it was very nice vacation and we would recommend it to everyone including people with kids 10 and up.More
