5 outdoor pool
You've got plenty of pools to pick from, they're scattered around the resort. There's one that stands out, it's long and rectangular it's lined with sunloungers and overlooks the hotel's beach.
There's a big list of treatments to pick from here, they've got scrubs, swedish massage, aromavedic baths, and the fango massage which is a wrap known to eliminate toxins. They've also got steam baths, whirlpool baths, saunas and a cool water plunge pool.
There's a DJ playing house music here.

Clean, 5 Star, Top of the Line Resort
Went for a 5 day trip with a group of 6. Rooms were clean and loved how they had robes, slippers, flip flops, and a beach bag ready for you. There were so many food choices throughout the resort. We had a group of 6 and usually had a dinner wait time of about 1 hour. We walked across the street to the upscale shops at night. It is the closest hotel to the mall. The pools were always clean. We rented a cabana 1 day and it was beautiful. The wifi was free and reached all the way to the beach! The washrooms throughout the hotel were impeccably clean. Especially the pool washrooms. We seen them go in to clean every 20 minutes!!! I would definitely return to this resort.More
Relaxing Group Vacation
We stayed at Live Aqua for 4 nights with a group of 3 other couples. This was my first visit to an all-inclusive resort, but it won't be my last. It was truly the most relaxing vacation I've ever had. Our check-in process was very smooth and easy, with a minimal wait. During the wait a staff member checked on us and brought us drinks. Even though we arrived early on a Saturday (around noon), we were able to get into our room upon check-in. We stayed in a Deluxe Room with an Ocean View. Our room (1011) was off to the end of the hall. We had a lovely view of both the gardens and the ocean. The rooms towards the end of the hall (where the building juts out) seem to have larger patios, if that's important to you. Noise from the hallway isn't an issue, however if you go to bed on the early side you will probably hear the music coming from the pool area below. However, it never goes very late. On the one evening I did turn in early and the music was still going, I simply put in the ear plugs I always travel with and had no problem falling asleep. We had two queen beds that were very comfortable. The bathroom is very large with excellent toiletries. We ate at most of the restaurants. We enjoyed the buffet at Siete most often, as the hours seemed the most conducive to our eating schedule. Breakfast there is wonderful. I highly recommend the chilaquiles with an egg cooked to your preference, as well as the tamales. The Mexican hot chocolate is also a delicious treat. For lunch and dinner, don't miss the ceviche bar. They are all excellent! Everyone in our group also couldn't get enough of the chips. They're unlike anything you've had back home. I tried the taco bar at the beach (fish tacos) and the sushi bar (tempura roll). Neither were amazing, but it was a fun snack after a day at the beach. We also ate at Hidden Garden one evening as a group. We got there right at opening and had no trouble getting a table for the 8 of us. The atmosphere down there is really cool. Some dishes we loved, others were ok, but it was a nice change from Mexican cuisine. If they offer a special dinner poolside, take advantage of it. The live music and outdoor atmosphere is really fun. During lunch there is a daily station near the pool that will do BBQ. They also have a station with a huge skillet where they'll do a daily taco, fajita or paella. I had several excellent items there. The mojito stand across from it is wonderful as well. The staff is amazing and will try to accommodate just about anything. We sat in different areas of the pool every day, and always had wonderful service. We did take a stash of $1 with us and tipped often. If you want one of the coconuts you see people sipping on, you need to hurry! They start giving them out at noon at a little shack on the beach just under the infinity pool area. They go quickly! I tried every day and finally got one on the last day. My husband and I booked a couples massage at the spa on morning. It was reasonably priced and very enjoyable. If you get there an hour before your massage, you're able to take advantage of all the other amenities, including the hot and cold tubs, sauna, steam room and foot bath. My husband loved the steam room, and was able to use just it again later in our stay since we'd had a massage earlier. We booked ours ahead of time, but unless you really need it at a certain time, I wouldn't bother. We all got a coupon for discount at check-in that I wasn't able to apply to my already scheduled massage, so you may save yourself a bit of money if you wait to book. You will (probably) be asked if you want to sit through a presentation of their vacation club. It's never pushy, and you can say no and not worry about being bothered again (as our friends did). We said yes, and were treated to a cabana for a day and a Romantic Beach Dinner (an additional charge for guests). The presentation involved having breakfast with a vacation club representative followed by a session in their office. All in all it took a little over an hour and a half of our time. We were getting antsy to go meet our friends, indicated so, and were able to leave without being pressured. We actually considered it, but needed more time to talk. They were happy to give it to us, and when we eventually declined the next day we were not pressured in any way and treated respectfully. A couple of other helpful tips: Bring sunscreen! It's sold in the gift shop, but it's very expensive (roughly $20 for a bottle). No need to pack a beach bag. A nice large one is provided for your use during your stay. In general, this is a pretty chill resort. You can have lots of fun (as our group of 40-somethings did), but not have to worry that you'll be in a club-like atmosphere where people are out of control. I have no idea how it compares to other all-inclusives, but I truly enjoyed it. I felt pampered the entire time, it felt like a wonderful value for the money, and it was so nice to not have to worry about money while you're there. I highly recommend Live Aqua and would gladly stay there again.More
Beautiful relaxing vacation!
We spent much time checking out reviews for Live Aqua and our expectations were very high. Live Aqua didn't disappoint, the resort is absolutely amazing, this is our 4th year in a row to the Cancun area but nothing has compared to the beauty and service that we've gotten here. We leave tomorrow and we aren't ready to go. Thanks to all the amazing staff for making us feel so spoiled More

Winter Get Away
Great vacation. The resort was beautiful, friendly staff, great food, wonderful beach and terrific facilities. The location was good, close to the airport and a lot of great stores near by. Definitely will return.More
I've been to Cancun many times and this resort is by far the best one I've ever stayed at. The service is impeccable, the entire resort is immaculate, and the pools are super relaxing. I loved everything about this resort. The beach was well maintained, they even made messages on the beach every morning with the washed up seaweed before getting rid of it. The food was delicious and the staff were all incredibly wonderful.More
