5 outdoor pool
You've got plenty of pools to pick from, they're scattered around the resort. There's one that stands out, it's long and rectangular it's lined with sunloungers and overlooks the hotel's beach.
This bar is modern and stylish it offers wine, tequila and a selection of imported drinks by Steve Olson.
Hidden garden restaurant
This places specialises in Eastern cuisine, there's also a hidden path that winds around the restaurant to the entrance and a garden.

Amazing and well planed
I loved this hotel because it have 9-13 restaurants and it´s only 2 of them which are not included in the all inclusive. The food is great everywhere, the café is located so you have to pass it every.time you go in or out to the pool and beach. The thing that is even better is that the training facility is located on the other side of the entré and it´s glassed in so you can see out 360 degrees so you want to do some training every time you pass this entré and why not have something to drink or a pice of cake at the same time. The room is great but you cannot compare it with the Americana Fiesta Coral Beach Resort and the beach is also a lot better there. I wish that Live Aqua was located next to Coral Beach Resort then I would always go there because the water are calm while at the Live Aqua where it´s located it´s very hard to swim in the sea. Another good thing is that you have La Isla shopping area on the other side of the road. There was a wedding at Live Aqua but if I would get married I would do it at Coral Beach Resort because Live Aqua is young luxury hotel and Coral Beach Resort is very exclusive luxury hotel and the photos you get will be perfect at an amazing beach.More
Good place to be lazy for 4 days.
Booked all-inclusive package thru Costco Travel and could have not picked a better hotel. From airport pickup to hotel stay and airport drop off, there was nothing to complain about. Everyone from the ground transportation, hotel staff and beach staff were very friendly, respectful and helpful. And everyone really wanted you to have a fun and relaxed stay and no one acted as if they expected a tip, as it is in some hotels. Highly recommended.More
Liked the best: Food & service from Restaurant Seven, Pool Grill, Gym, Rooms, Spa, Entertainment by the pool (wanted more), staff, netflix available in rooms, wifi good quality. Liked Least: Italian restaurant, some seafood tasted fishy, no music by main pool, inconsistent taste to drinks ordered. For more details: Service was really good. The hotel manager Alfredo Santamaria is seen daily on the grounds to meet his guests and thanks them for choosing the hotel and country of Mexico to vacation at. There are key staff members who truly go out of their way to get you what you want. My husband would order Jalapeno margaritas everyday and depending on the bartender some would go out of their way to get the jalapenos from the restaurant and others didn't want to make them because it would spice up the blender (I would hope it gets washed). A tip i would give to anyone traveling to Cancun in general is get to know the staff and tip them for their service if they have been helpful. Everyone works so hard and most of them live off tips even if it is all inclusive. My husband and I would settle in one area of the pool and find a waiter that would be there for majority of the day so that we could tip in advance and they appreciate it so much. The service we got from Mariana and Ernesto was on point. They kept our drinks coming as long as we were in the pool. Mariana even went out of her way to get us the Ceviche from the Sea Side Grill restaurant instead of the one from the pool menu. Only thing I wish the larger pool had was light music playing in the background. One of the pools has music but its off in the corner and much smaller. There were a few entertainment acts by the ocho pool and when the music would come on it changed the energy of the pool to more lively. It was still very relaxing. Service at the restaurants was great. The waiter at MB Amador made great recommendations and was so personable. He was open to taking pictures and didnt seem too busy to ever ask our questions even though he was taking care of a large area. In our opinion this along with the Buffet were the best restaurants. Rafael made our fresh omelets every morning and even went out of his way to make our plate of bacon crispier than what was out on the buffet. He knew our order every morning and did not disappoint. The Italian was our least favorite restaurant simply because the food didn't impress us- but again the service was very nice. Food you have to try include: Habanero Soup & Short Rib at MB, Ceviche Caribeno and fish tacos from Sea Side Grill, Hot Dogs from the cart at the pool and the burgers/sandwiches from bar menu are great, Chorizo by the outdoor Grill (Jose is so sweet and is there making some delicious grilled wings, ribs and chorizo), Street Tacos from Seven at dinner along with all you can eat crab legs and lastly the sushi was pretty tasty. Over all I would say that on a level of 1-10 the food here is a 6.5. Out of all the hotels I have stayed in Cancun Secrets the Vine has had the most impressive and consistently delicious food. The rooms were luxurious (they use Molton Brown soaps etc..) , clean, spacious and comfy beds. The room temperature was well controlled and could not feel the humidity through the walls unlike other hotels. The only con is that we stayed on the first floor so we could hear the nightly entertainment right into our room. Good thing is that it stopped by 11pm. The gym was great! Had everything you needed to get a good sweat in and the Spa was On Point. The couples massage for 90 min was a steal and the quality was outstanding. My husband even wanted to go again the next day but didn't want to miss out on our last pool day. It was very nice that the hotel lets you check out, hang out by the pool and then use the spa to clean off before having to leave. Last thing I'll mention because its important to know, the ocean is beautiful but it was so aggressive when we went. We didnt realize there is a life guard in front of the hotel watching because he is so hidden. We thought we had to go next door to go into the ocean. The life guard there advised we go into ours because it was much more calm and the next day we figured out Live Aqua had the better beach. I would advise the life guard to position their post somewhere people can see them so they know its safe to go in. Love Cancun, Love the people and I continue to explore all the hotels it has to offer.More

Relaxation and wow pampering
First of all I want to mention that this place is for you if your intentions are to relax and unwind. If you relieve stress by partying Live Aqua is not for you. The hotel is a tranquil escape with a powerfully achieved theme of relaxation and zen. You will find aromatherapy and lush robes and a soundscape clock in your room, complete w spa quality handmade soaps, etc. The devoted and caring staff will indulge you with whatever drink, food, or need you may have and literally treat you like royalty. We had to actually convince ourselves we deserved it. The food at the restaurants was superb and diverse and the buffet is not a buffet, but a tantalizing bold experience of textures and flavors. The signature restaurant, MB, was not my favorite, food wise. There was always something for me as a vegetarian too! The only one time we left the resort to go on an excursion we got sick to our stomach from the outside food. We returned to the hotel past midnight and my husband had a terrible heartburn and needed maalox or tums. We felt helpless and went to ask where we can go at this hour for relief. Diego at the concierge said no problem! Go to your room and we will bring you maalox and deliver to your room at our own cost. For $7 we had maalox on a half hour at our room door past midnight!!! Where would you get this kind of care????? I mean I've been around, and this is way beyond the call of duty. Now for a some friendly criticism- the sales presentation we were talked into was not fun and we felt pressured, but you can avoid it w no problem. Also, while I realize it's a place for relaxation, it wouldn't hurt to have an actual DJ after hours spinning some hot tunes in the disco and some staff getting people dancing and energized. Even the most zen people need and want to hang loose a bit, the nightclub after hours was nothing but a bar and a Spotify playlist of songs no one knows. Thank you for giving us a great vacation! My wife and i took a kids free trip for three nights to live aqua and WOW, is all I have to say! !!! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt like celebrities or royalty! It was truly a one of a kind experience. We were waited on at the pool, at the restaurants, and everywhere in between! We upgraded to an ocean terrace room which was perfetion! We had two chaises to enjoy anytime day or night right outside or bedroom door. We loved the oil burners in the room and throughout the resort giving off mint and eucalyptus scents to be completly indulged in all senses and feel like you are at a spa! We did get or feet rubbed on the beach while sucking down many fruity blended drinks that were also perfection!!!! We will definitely be back! Already planning our return next January! Thank you live aqua for making three nights feel like three weeks! More
