What a beautiful resort! It amazing with beautiful views. The pools were great. The staff was great. The buffets were amazing! The restaurants were all very good, but our favorite was the Japanese restaurant, it was delicious. Right across the street was a strip mall to go get souvenirs. I will definitely stay here again, and I would absolutely recommend this resort. More

We're in our 3 day and absolutely love this place. We just spent 5 days in Cozumel and too the ferry across to spend 5 days here. We loved Cozumel because it was more adventurous and rustic. We're being pampered here! Very luxurious. The staff is on top of it all the time. VERY clean, this hotel is spotless and absolutely beautiful. The food is to die for, very different from other resort food, it's outstanding. The only slight annoyance we've had.... this is somewhat of a party resort. It's adult only which is nice, but don't confuse with couples only.... if you want a quiet resort find a family friendly resort. We found our "quiet time" in our beautiful room / balcony right in front of ocean. Regardless we will lost definitely be back, beautiful, clean, amazing food and drinks. Beach and pools are gorgeous. Love, love, love this place!
Recently returned from a 5 day stay at the Riu Palace Las Americas in Cancun. What a wonderful place to stay! This was our first experience at a Riu location, and our first all-inclusive resort. They did not disappoint! The facility is very well maintained and the constantly working staff keep it immaculate. Rooms are spacious! The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were top-shelf and made to order. What more can you ask for? From the first point of contact via phone (thank you, Yessica!) we had an amazing time. Each and every staff member we encountered was pleasant, courteous and professional. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time at this beautiful resort. To Pablo at the reception desk, Abu in the Deco Lounge, L. Miguel on the beach, David at the upper pool bar, and most importantly, Rico, in the Steak House and Italian restaurant, our most sincere THANK YOU for making our stay a memorable experience. We will definitely be staying with you again. Each of you made our short time at the Riu the best vacation ever!More
What can i say !!! i've had 4 weeks there now in 2 visits... love it there and cant wait to go back Good food and drinks a plenty, staff never forget you and always have a smile for you If you want it a bit livelier you can always go next door to party as wellMore
Pros - The food was superb! - The service was exceptional - The beach was small, but beautiful - Adults only Cons - The resort smelled musty/mouldy! - The decor was tacky and dated - The front desk staff were rude and unhelpful (refused my request for a late check out - wouldn't even permit a measly 30 minute late check out) - Arctic level air conditioning The smell is the biggest con. Every indoor space within the resort smells musty. The odour is over powering and nauseating. It is the primary reason I will not stay at the resort again. Also, while staff were continuously washing, mopping, and cleaning surfaces, I never once received a towel that wasn't stained. Another major con is the sub arctic level air conditioning in the lobby and restaurants. Lastly, bedding only consists of sheets, no duvet or comforter. If you feel chilly a ratty, old wool blanket can be found in the closet. Overall, I was disappointed with the resort. I expected more at the 5 star level. More
