The Hotel Falesia’s good-looking gardens set the scene for a terrace-framed pool and al fresco dining area. A 20-minute walk brings you to sandy beach, and some of Portugal’s best golf courses are nearby.
This hotel does things in style, with a smart restaurant and a spa offering a range of treatments. Upgrade room options include junior suites stocked with little extras like bathrobes and slippers.

Total relaxation .. fabulous
Bear with me guys , long review but going to try & tell you other things rather than the hotel , staff & food were great ( which they were of course ) especially harry from Thomson entertainment team , he is a star & works sooo hard.Right , here we go , from arriving the welcome drinks we're very much appreciated & a lovely young man quickly took our suitcases to our room , 4th floor over looking the pool , lovely spacious room with a fabulous modern bathroom & the biggest most comfortable bed we have ever slept in !! & a lovely large modern bathroom , spotlessly clean . If u like sun on your balcony in the evening as we do , unfortunately this wasn't the case because the way the hotel is shaped or the fact some balconies have like glass panels & some are more bricked as ours was didn't really allow any sun on our balcony morning or night , not really a problem tho as there was never ever a shortage of sun beds around the pool or grounds which was a definite bonus .Back to the room , plenty of wall sockets for all your appliances i.e. Phones iPads etc , also ladies I found it really helpful that the hairdryer is in the bedroom in the dressing table , so when you lift the top up it's in there with a lovely mirror so you can sit on the bed & dry your hair instead of standing up in the bathroom where that's usually where the dryers are .The sun beds , some are different & lie flat so it's more comfortable to lie on your tummy when sunbathing , there's not many of them so look for the ones with slightly different shaped legs , the other ones stay upright which is fine when lying on your back but not so great when your lie on your stomach . If you fancying a walk at lunchtime but not to far , we found a lovely little place , you come out of the main doors of the hotel & take a right , go down a few steps & directly to your right is a wee place with tables outside , they do a cheese & onion toastie for 2.20 euros & a pint of San Michel for 1.75 which was amazingly cheap & ice cold , lovely after a morning sunbathing in the lovely Portuguese sunshine !! The hotel is definitely aimed at the older clientele , we are early 50's but don't class ourselves as old , some of the quizzes where most definetly aimed at the 70 + group , not complaining tho as my husband loves a quiz& there was one around the poolside every day that he didn't miss 😊.I can honestly say hand on heart that the falesia is the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in & we made many many friends, if you are reading this review & are wanting a beautiful hotel , quiet , tranquil , friendly & set in lovely grounds then this is the hotel for you , we had an AMAZING time ,so thankyou to the Thomson team & the falesias friendly & efficient staff. As I said at the beginning , this has been a long review , hope you managed to stay with me till the end lol , Go ahead & book this hotel , you can't fail to have a wonderful holiday 🌞👍🏼 More
The Falesia Hotel should have everything going for it. Superb staff. Excellent service. Immaculate housekeeping. Good facilities. Nice ambience, facilities and grounds. Friendly atmosphere. For us its Achilles Heel was the poor quality of the buffet evening meal but breakfast was good.More

Small great hotel
A great hotel compared with some nearby 5 star resorts. Friendly, disciplined and helpful staff, small but wonderful and clean gardens imbedded in pines and trees, spacious and comfortable rooms and healthy buffets in a family style ambient. Perfect for a rest.More
The Falesia hotel Portugal
We visited this wonderful hotel the first week of June. We had an amazing week a wonderful Junior suite. The food once again was delicious and plenty of variety. This was our 2nd visit. Thomson gold entertainment wasn't as good as last time, although the reps were lovely. We were very glad to see Arman again who kept us entertained. Thank you Carlos and your wonderful team .
