The Cerro Mar Colina offers a choice of pools and a great line-up of activities, all topped off with sweeping views of Albufeira.
From its hillside position, this place comes with spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean and Albufeira’s terracotta-topped old town. You can walk to the sandy shoreline in 5 minutes.
Interiors are lovely and bright, with whitewashed walls and plenty of sunlight that streams in through floor-to-ceiling windows. Apartments carry the white motif, too, and they’re finished with simple furniture and sun-trap balconies.

2 outdoor pools
The two pools are set together on the sun terrace, surrounded by palm trees comfy loungers, with straw parasols to keep the sun at bay. The larger, curvy pool is ideal for everyone who wants to swim, splash about or just float in the sun, whilst the smaller, circular pool is ideal for the little ones.
This small friendly, heated pool provides some relieve for those who are not sun lovers, or for when the weather misbehaves. Loungers line the sides making this a good spot to chill for a while.
Monte Verde is open for breakfast and dinner, and offers a wide selection of tasty local and International cuisine.

Great beach holiday
Stayed here for 4nights as our summer holiday. Had an absolute great time. Would definetely recommend it. Apartments has all you need, an no the tv screen is not that small, but there are no channels to watch really, you're on holiday, forget the tv. Yes there are a 100 steps down to the old town, but they are really not that bad. We climbed them 4times per day in 30degrees plus. One thing about the atlantico apartment building though is that the gym, sauna and indoor swimming pool is a bit neglected, but we also saw no one using them, everyone wants to use the facilities at the main building. Overall great stay. Definetely worth a try.More
Stag & Hen`s :-(
This was our second visit to this hotel but this time we were disappointed. Despite a fabulous experience two years ago, to see that the management are allowing large groups of stag and hen parties was a real let down. The bad language and noise by the pool area and late-night revellers in the common hallways really let this otherwise beautiful hotel down. Despite hotel staff witnessing this bad behaviour they choose to ignore it and go about their business instead of dealing with it. Apart from this issue, the apartments themselves are lovely, spacious, clean and tidy with all the facilities needed. The cleaning staff were hard working and carried out their work to a high standard. The apartments come with everything you would need. Sorry to say – but we will not be back, what a shame.More

Loved everything about Cerro Mar Atlantico
We have just returned 2adults and 2teens.... One bed apartment.... Beds very comfy... Had all kitchen amenities... Washing machine added bonus... All staff very courteous and helpful.... Went to all the pools and had no problem getting beds... had lunch at pool bar a few days and it was great food and cheap. Our apartment was serviced every day by the loveliest Portuguese lady, she always had a smile.. The entire complex was spotlessly clean...The shop onsite had all you need.... We walked to and from old town every day some days more than once and the steps were not a problem..... If you don't want to do them a taxi is just €4.... Overall we had a really lovely relaxing time and we will return and will highly recommend staying here...More
Fabulous hotel in great location
Great hotel with four pools, indoor pool and spa. Service was amazing from every member of staff, especially Leocadia who dealt with a hen party of 20 girls and she never stopped smiling. Check in and out was very efficient. Great location away from the noise but a ten minute walk to the old town and beach which has an abundance of bars, shops, restaurants etc. Walk to town is down hill with over a hundred steps but the hotel offers a courtesy bus and taxis are really cheap (3.90€ one way). Would recommend La Cabana restaurant on the sea front where the food was amazing, reasonably priced and the service amazing (20 people were all served with main meals at the same time, piping hot).More

Our apartment, 212, was at the back of the property and at first we were a little disappointed - small balcony looking at a wall with very distant view of the sea. Having taken a walk around the building the apartment came in to its own. No noise from the pool, that could become noisy at times, the full afternoon sun from 2pm onwards, and finally no noise rising from the old town strip. We found the apartment to be clean with a daily maid service (who did a wonderful job), the facilities were everything we needed and more, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. The bathroom was well equipped and clean although shower was a bit poor. The onsite restaurant is a must, if self catering, and very reasonable, we ate for €36 (two starters and two mains). Ricardo the waiter was exceptional. Our apartment block had two pools, the main block one and, I believe, a further two within another block. The only real downside is the positioning at the top of a hill following a walk up 80 odd steps. These steps aren't as bad as has been made out in previous reviews but can be a struggle after a huge meal in the old town with a few, maybe too many, drinks. More
