WHAT MAKES TUI FAMILY LIFE?
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
When it comes to family holidays, we’ve considered each piece of the puzzle – from kids’ clubs and child-friendly food to coffee shops and spacious rooms. With facilities that cater to everyone, you can concentrate on creating precious family moments.
International food made for sharing is the focus. Each property has a Taverna, where you can tuck into authentic delicacies – tapas or meze-style. Plus, the buffet restaurants cater to everyone, with children’s menus and allergy-friendly dishes.
Our free kids’ clubs offer up a couple of hours of activities, six days a week. The clubs are split into age groups – there’s Bamse Club for three to five-year-olds and @611 for six to 11-year-olds. Teens get their own space, too – The Hangout.
You can look forward to a 14-day programme of activities, ranging from morning jogs and volleyball games to Les Mills fitness classes. Come evening, things start with games for little ones, followed by a specially crafted show for everyone.

APARTMENTSGo one size up with our one, two or three-bedroom apartments. They give you plenty of space to relax, thanks to separate bedrooms, living areas and kitchenettes. Comforts like air-con, fridges and blackout curtains come as standard.
SWIM-UPThe whole family can jump straight into the pool with a swim-up room. There’s more elbow room, too, as the pool’s reserved for guests who’ve booked this room type. Comforts like air-con, fridges and blackout curtains come as standard.
PRIVATE POOLUpgrade to one of these and you won’t need to share the pool with anyone else – you’ll have your own private number. Comforts like air-con, fridges and blackout curtains come as standard.
DAYTIMEOur 14-day schedule of international events and activities is designed with all the family in mind. You can also join a Les Mills fitness class – pick from CXWorks™, BodyBalance™, BodyVive™ and Sh’Bam™.
EVENINGWe pull out all the stops when it comes to entertainment, with kids’ shows and professional performances for everyone. There’s something different every day of the week, from Best of Broadway to Disney-inspired Happily Ever After.
FAMILY ENTERTAINERSDedicated Family Entertainers are on hand to keep everyone busy. During the day that means jogs, classic games and volleyball tournaments. Later, they organise fun and games before the evening shows.
POOLSThe pools at TUI Family Life come in all shapes and sizes. Think quiet, lagoon-like pools for mum and dad, and fun paddling pools for children. Some even have splash parks, with pirate ships, octopus slides and mushroom showers.
BIG BUFFETSThe buffet restaurants have been designed with all tastes in mind, so dishes strike a balance between local, international, and family favourites. Children get a dedicated section, and there’s a special area for preparing baby food.
MADE FOR SHARINGDining should be an experience the whole family can enjoy. As well as the buffet restaurants with big sharing plates, each hotel has a Taverna à la carte. Here, everyone can dig into tapas or meze dishes, inspired by local delicacies.
HEALTHY EATING & ALLERGIESOur buffets are geared up for healthy eating. Children are encouraged to try new things with reward lanyards. Plus, our chefs are on the ball with allergies, so dishes are labelled, and they’ll happily cook you something special.
THEA’S COFFEEYou shouldn’t have to forfeit your daily caffeine fix on holiday. Every single one of our hotels has a Thea’s Coffee Shop. So, you can buy a cappuccino or grab a freshly squeezed fruit juice after your morning workout.
BABYCLUBWe know it’s hard handing them over, but our BabyClub crèches have fully trained staff to look after your little ones. They cost extra, and they’re open six days a week for up to three, two-hour sessions a day, plus some evenings.
BABY LOUNGEOur air-conditioned lounges are open all day, every day, in a central spot by the pool. They’re stocked with microwaves, changing tables and bottle warmers, so you don’t have to traipse back to the room for feeds or nappy changes.
PARENT & BABY SESSIONSThese fun, interactive sessions are designed for both parents and little ones. They’re made up of music, games and storytelling.
KIDS’ CLUBSBamse Club, for three to five-year-olds, puts on role-playing and treasure hunts, while 6 to 11-year-olds have themed days at @611. You can get a scaled-down version when you stay at a hotel with a Kids’ Club by TUI Family Life.
EVENING CLUBSThese payable events take place at least three times a week, giving parents the chance to unwind and relax while the children are entertained with a range of activities. They’re usually themed – think pizza, chocolate or summer.
THE HANGOUTThis is our dedicated teen area, where 12 to 15-year-olds can meet friends, relax and use the free Wi-Fi. Activities include water fights, card games and lip-syncing challenges. Plus, evening events take place three times a week.
PEACE OF MINDYou can relax knowing all of our kids’ club staff are fully trained, and there’ll always be someone in the team who holds UK-accredited childcare qualifications. What’s more, all our childcare team undergo the relevant DBS checks.
We came for 2 week on 7th sep we arrived at hotel met with great staff went to room 52D Very clean and spot on for the 3 of us. food is pretty decent with a great range for all tastes and ages drinks where pretty good to entertainment team realy good couldnt fault them they work tirelessly to entertain all guests .the bluemoon bar did get abit hot and stuffy at night so spent a hour in here then went to atlantic sports bar nice and cool in there and the bar man in there tui is a credit to the hotel on the go constantly and will do anything for you. the pool and snack bar kept very clean we had no problems getting a sun bed life guard on from 9am till 6pm on a whole a good family resort with beach 2 mins walk away the only downside is the way guests treat the place is a disgrace piling plates high then leaving it . Leaving food on the floor and not just abit cups left lying about round pool and atlantic bar it takes 2 mins to clean up after yourself i hate to see how they live at home . Thank you to all staff at flamingo beach resort for a great holiday rom 52D
Good holiday worth paying a little extra for a better view
We've just returned from a lovely week staying at the Alcudia Pins. We booked a room for myself, my wife and son. The room itself was good, AC worked, beds were comfortable, nice sized balcony with a bit of sea visible and WiFi in the room too. The room layout was also good as the bunk beds were separate from the main part of the room next to the bathroom behind a sliding door so once the little ones are asleep you can read or watch something without fear of disturbing them. Pros: Great location next to the beach Beautiful area in the north of Majorca Nice pools Our 3yr old enjoyed the early evening entertainment Great selection of food from the 4 restaurants (although 2 of them were only available within the all inclusive 1 night each - so you had to stick to their schedule). Cons (all minor really as it is only a 3* hotel but worth noting): The pools are not heated Not much to do if it rains - which it did for us (Mid Sep), only a very small indoor soft play for kids up to 36 months Other than beach, pools, small park and an outdoor football/basketball park onsite there's not much to do in the area - something to consider with energetic children A long way from any of the other major attractions on the island which are concentrated in the South Some rooms like ours back onto quite busy roads with lorrys unloading in the mornings
We just want to say how excellent we enjoyed the amazing service and the cleanliness in our room, I would recommend Nicky really clean rooms and all the people working here so good jobs for keep clean environment. Big thanks !!! for chef Thank you the cook for meals :) Was amazing !!! We love it!! And greets the manager who was still friendly and always smiles :). Great !!! Thanks to the whole team !!! Certainly we will add a lot of recommend for eryone !!!Thanks guys. We love it here !!! Katarina and Koko. See you soon xxx.
Great for families with young children
We were unsure after reading some of the more negative reviews on here, but have to say we have ahead a lovely week here. We arrived around 2pm after a delayed flight but were given our AI wristbands to go have lunch until our room was ready. We were happy to wait as had emailed in advance to request a 1st floor pool view room. We didn't receive a reply to this email, however this was exactly the room we got. The balconies are enclosed and safe, whereas the ground floor rooms have a terrace with no boundary so if you want to relax in your room while a toddler is on the loose go for one of those. There are quieter rooms uther away from the pool but we wanted to be poolside to sit on the balcony in the evenings. We like our food and the selection here didn't disappoint - huge selection to suit anyone - paella for lunch was a hit! Children's buffet a bit predictable but to be honest we just got stuff from the normal buffet. Salads lovely and fresh and lots of stuff being cooked from scratch at every meal. Even the pizza from the help yourself snack bar was tasty. Beer and sangria good. And try the gin! There wasps but I think that's just the time of year as they were at the beach too. Not for want of cleaning - the staff were working hard to keep on top of it and there was no mess anywhere. Wander down to sandy cove on a mild day for a swim in the clear sea - a highlight for us! Shop next the the hotel stocks most things you could want and the little kitchenette in the room with microwave and fridge very useful, although with AI no cooking going on! Our room in the Aries block was plenty big enough and clean, rain shower great and being a 1 bed apartment have us space at night when toddler asleeep. Bus to Mahon at 9am outside the hotel if you want to explore - one back at 12.45 so can have a few hours. We did have some rain while here - prob our main downside was the weather but that not the fault of the hotel! Entertainment team work hard - the early evening definitely aimed at younger children so be prepared for that! (Like CBeebies but more manic! - our toddler loved it) Big pool if a bit cold but plenty of sun beds and children's pool with slides to keep them occupied. All in all we booked this as a deal and believe we got great value for money. We could have paid lots more and not been as satisfied. Please don't worry if you've booked this hotel and read the negative reviews - obviously everyone's experience is different but we have had a lovely family holiday. This place is definitely designed around families - but then being a family life hotel it's what we expected.
Visit Sep 2017
Me & my partner have just returned from a 10 day stay to the Aeneas. Overall the holiday was good and we would definately return next year if the hand foot & mouth situation is solved. PROS The pool area is large and we never had any trouble getting a sunlounger and there is a shade to two beds. The majority of the pool is shallow which makes it a great place for kids to play. The food is good- although once you have been there for a week it does start to get a bit repetitive, but I find this is the same with most resorts I have stayed in previous. I would recommend trying the Green & Grill it was a lovely meal and you get one free time if all inclusive! The waiters are always working hard and we never had to wait long on a drink. George & Gabor working the entertainment bar always had a smile on their face and kept your drink topped up without even having to ask. As I am pregnant I found myself drinking water or diet coke and was making myself sick of it. Me & my partner sat at hectors pool bar were Pieriz & Steve served us, and they made me up different non alcoholic drinks to try. The entertainment is a bit of a hit or miss, as we travelled without kids we found it to be a bit annoying. Although all the kids taking part seemed to love it. CONS Hand foot & mouth is rife in this hotel and anyone who says any different are lying or blind. In my 10 day stay, I heard of 4 different cases. The only way to get rid of this would be to shut the hotel down which is what they require to do. When we arrived we were given a sheet informing us about HFM, a bit worrying being there whilst pregnant but we both took the right precautions- there is hand santizer placed about the hotel which we used religiously. The pool had to be closed twice during our stay because of an accident, its not the hotels job to make sure every child has on a swimming nappie. So really this is the parents fault. Also not the hotels fault but the amount of children running about the buffet area is shocking. Just run right into you whilst you are holding a plate full of hot food and then their parents just stare at you as if it is your fault. The entertainment also sometimes just seemed as if it was the reps running about screaming on stage. The clowns & download got repititive, although I did at the end find myself dancing along to download. If the HFM problem is solved by next year then I would definately think of coming back with my family. But if it is not then I wouldn't bring my baby or niece into that environment. Saying that we did have a good holiday and I would recommend aslong as HFM is gone.
