With shops, bars and restaurants close by and a sandy beach just minutes away, the Bali Hotel and Studios has one of the best settings in Benalmadena.
The Bali Hotel & Studios is set on a steep hill overlooking the Benalmadena seafront. Sandy Malapesquera Beach is a five-minute walk down the hill, and there are bars and restaurants right on the doorstep.
Accommodation here is split between bedrooms and more contemporary studios. There’s a handful of pools, plus plenty of sunbathing space, as well as a restaurant that deals in around-the-world buffet spreads.

On the front the hotel looked really nice, but once you've stayed a few nights the cracks start to show. This has got to be the noisiest hotel I've EVER stayed in! Rooms doors SLAM! Bottle bin gets emptied at 8am every morning Maids banging around upstairs at 9am moving the beds around (which is a racket) Walls are paper thin (literally hear every conversation) and next door snoring Noisy hall way Air con has given myself and misses the flu Tv remote do any work Food is average pasta was over cooked most days Queues for drinks can become massive Cardiac hill (wow gets steeper) Positives Good mix of food at dinner Drink measures are very good Room cleaned every day Was given an extra pillow without asking So if you want somewhere that'll guarantee you want be able to sleep come here! We are a young couple (mid 20's) and won't be coming back!!!! More
Top class hotel!
Amazing hotel and even better entertainment! Do not listen to the negative reviews, entertainment all day from 11am, food was good different themes every night. We was all inclusive couldn't ask for much more from the staff. Great area by the pool for all inclusive guests to get drinks and food all day and night. Pool area was busy but could easily get a sun bed (top pool) we didn't actually go to the bottom pool due to that looking to cramped. Only thing we could give a negative on was the kids park could do with a update, games room for the kids was great. The entertainment team was also very good, golf and water polo are 2 games I played. Could not fault this hotel one bit close to the beach and supermarkets, we have just got back today and we are booking to return tomorrow morning for next year!More
6th great holiday at the Bali
My wife and I and our 15 year old daughter stayed here from 25th July for one week. It was our 6th stay, but the first time all inclusive. We stayed in too 2605, which was clean and tidy as was the rest of the hotel. There have been some changes since our last stay, such as new colourful sun loungers by the lower pool, both large pools have been renovated to include a stairway down into them, and a new kids splash pool. Also a positive is the fact that you can no longer reserve sun loungers because if you leave them unattended for more than 30 minutes, they will be removed. This stops the idiots putting towels out at 9am and not returning until afternoon. Also sometimes they block off the bottom pool until 9 whilst they clean. If anything, there wasn't quite as much choice of food and desserts as on previous visits, but there is still plenty, and you won't go hungry. Different themed nights, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Andalusian and the weekly Gala Dinner. Entertainment, brilliant as always, topped of by a great day on 28th July (which was Med Played 50th anniversary), on which there was a foam party! Also other events ongoing all day. Didn't find a problem with the all inclusive drinks system with the cards personally, surprisingly having read some reviews before we travelled. In sunny view cafe and in the snack room there's also self service soft drinks machine, maybe would be an idea to have a self service beer pump as well in these areas like in some other hotels, but not an issue for me. The location is good. Nearby is the green and quiet Paloma Park, Selwo Marina (dolphins and seal shows), Marina (shops, restaurants and boat trips), Sea Life Centre and slightly further away via bus or taxi is Tivoli World which is great for younger kids. Yes the hotel is on a hill, but unless you have any health issues this isn't too bad. Staff friendly, saw plenty of familiar staff from our last visit four years ago. All in all, another great holiday, thanks to all the Bali staff. So good we've already booked in for 10 nights next year!More

Cheap Late Deal - Base Only
Positives - Wifi, Cleaners did a good job each day and good location as not far from the beach. Negatives - On first floor although the view wasnt too bad over looking part of the pool it was above the bins so could smell an awful smell each time we was on balcony. Rooms need a serious update as bright orange and dated. Bathroom had skirting all deformed and chipped and tiles need a good clean. Bath was chipped also inside. Food was absolutely appalling to say the least. Me and my husband were half board and only ate a couple of times in the restaurant due to how poor the food was. I dont know what some peoples expectations are but for a 3 star hotel it really was bad the look and taste was so bland! Curry was like water! Rice under cooked, cakes dry just cheap so totally agree with those who also didnt like the food (overheard the couple occasions we are). Plenty of chips if you like those. Found some of the staff rather rude and miserable looking. Not overly helpful at check in desk either. And also didnt appreciate the view of one member of staff urinating up the back of the wall late one night dont think he thought anyone could see him but we did then when he realised he was seen he tried to ask us if we had dropped a towel off balcony to which we responded it wasnt ours! Didnt use pool as like heading says we used it as a base only due to a cheap deal but would certainly not bring our children to this hotel or stay here again as we much prefer a higher star rating. I appreciate the fact it is 3 star and that Bali lost a star so we over heard and the over all experience reflects that when in this hotel. VERY NOISY on a night from first floor the entertainment was very close even with door shut glad we went out every day/night also could hear next door snoring every night and other side walls are paper thin please be aware or kids running up and down at all hours shouting, screaming. Again appreciate family hotel but still we have children and would keep them under control and they know how to respect when people are sleeping. Benalmadena is a beautiful place so much to do which made our holiday so wonderful :-) We did the Gibraltar rock tour defo a must for anyone! Also the Marina is so relaxing and great food restaurants, nice view to sit and eat/drink take photos. Had a boat ride also. Been a heatwave whilst here so could defo feel the temperatures but loved it basking on the beach under the little huts €10 for two loungers all day well worth it. Met some lovely people in the bars on a night down the main strip at bottom of hotel. The hill isnt too bad you soon get use to it apart from a slight struggle after one too many drinks haha ,') I really dont like to leave a bad review but hey ho this is what we felt and is our personal perspective/opinion and standards i suppose so in future we will stick to 4/5 star it didnt ruin our holiday what so ever we certainly had the best time as Husband and Wife celebrating my birthday and will return to this beautiful place just in a different hotel :-) More
Hotel was brillant for family's , entertainment was great. stuido rooms were lovely plenty of space kettle, fridge, air con worked wonders with the heat we had. The room was kept cleaned daily with maids everyday and clean towels every day if old ones were left on the floor. Location both directions walking distance to the marina plus the palmoa park was very good. One problem is the steep hill and yes its very hard work in the heat with a pram ended up paying for a few taxis home which was only 5 euros from the marina. Don't have very many negatives only the steep hill plus to many steps to the beach which makes it difficult for others ie prams , wheelchairs etc. I had a great stay and kids entertainment team were brillant.
