Just below average 😐
Visited with my husband for our anniversary on a late deal. The plus points are that the air conditioning is excellent, the beds very comfortable and the maid service daily (including towel change) if you leave the sign on the door. Also very friendly reception staff. Now the down side,,, it only just scrapes into a 3 star in my opinion as it's very tired and dated. Situated on a steep hill (regardless off how fit you are). The food was not of a good standard at all so after experiencing breakfast, lunch and evening meals we decided to eat our. The resort is very reasonable regarding food and drink prices and the marina was a lovely place to eat, drink and people watch! I emailed the hotel before we went asking for a high floor and we were given a ground one! Now I understand we booked 12 days in advance but we weren't even worthy of a reply. I wouldn't stay there again but would recommend it as a cheap option for people with children who would otherwise not get a holiday More
Hotel has a lot of plus points but quickly gets rid of them with the minus points.... I WILL GIVE A HONEST REVIEW The hotel is in a good location for the beach marina and park on saying that its up a steep hill and I'm quite fit wouldn't want to do it twice a day lol The room was clean and serviced regularly although very dated and in need of TLC the communal areas were dirty and scruffy and really need urgent attention Food ..You would not go hungry but found to be very repetitive and little choice we stayed at the medplaya in Benidorm last year and the food choice there was at least double it was luke warm but there was a microwave to heat it up if like me you like your food hot... we ate out 2 nights at Lilly Langtrees and was superb . You could also get snacks at the bar area where the kiddies pool and other large pool is situated but had to pay for them even though you are all inclusive never heard of this before. Pools in this area open to 7 but café shut at 5 so had to go up 2 floors to other bar for a drink . Pool area We took are 2 year old granddaughter and the reason we chose this hotel was because of the kiddies pool and it was good BUT why o why would you not open it until 11 am never know a pool to open so late. Didn't go up to the other pool by the main bar so can not comment on this area. There was plenty of sunbeds BUT again the area was dirty stayed 10 nights and only seen the floors jet washed twice . Staff... Generally ok the usual over worked blah blah blah Entertainment .... Give it up lol was poor to excruciating was a new show put on when we were there vegas something or other the girls were good and the English chap was ok but the 2 Spanish guys my o my LOSE em Kiddies disco was loved by granddaughter but like I said she was 2 the girls work and put on a great disco for them... THEN Prize plonker MAREK decides to show up some nights dresses like a clown (very apt) and scares half the little 1s ....Didn't take part in daytime stuff as kids club age starts at 6 and think most of the other games were done at main pool On the odd occasion there was water aerobics' in the pool by kiddes pool you had Marek doing it this was generally very sleazy as he would spend is time gyrating is hips winking and licking is lips at any female who looked at him Drinks.. Plenty of choice GOOD MEASURES sometimes a little bit of a wait but you find that anywhere you can have premium brands on all inclusive and pay half price I think that's fair BUT what is this card system all about got to have a card for a drink at end of night gotta take glass back for card back ....1 guy threw is glass away they are plastic got told couldn't have a drink so he is routing in bin ..... we got wrist bands on I'm sure there is some other way you could do it altho I did end up with 24 cards at 1 point as staff take cards when they remember or can be bothered. GENERAL This is a FAMILY hotel until Thursday then you have golf parties and stag parties turn up this has got to stop as it puts dads and granddads on edge we don't want are children or grandchildren seeing paralytic brits or centre of attention loud mouths ... WE met a lot of lovely people with kiddies on this holiday but my o my there was a lot of people who you would avoid to (and I'm no snob) I do get upset when you have a kiddies pool which for me was suitable for under 6s over ran by loutish families firing water pistols at 1 another running around but then the parents are drinking at 11 so by 2 they think its funny . HOPE this review helps people because you can see there are plenty of positives and negatives and you would just get your moneys worth please feel free to ask any questions Would I return ... NO Would I recommend ...UNDECIDED Would depend on the person askingMore
I went with my 7yr old & my parents. Staff were all lovely & very helpful. We stayed in block 2 room 2606 which was a beautiful view of the sea & over looking the kids pool. It was next to the lifts but never had a prob with noise. We were half board & the food was all tasty. Breakfast was the usual full english breakfast, fruit, cereal, sweet pastries & dinner was a different theme every night, i.e mexican, italian, Chinese, spanish ( mainly fish) Roast beef & yorkshire puddings were available most nights. Food was all lovely & even my fussy eater son found something he liked. Only stayed for the disney show one night for the entertainment which was enjoyable. Different show on each night & entertainment during the day to which alot of people took part in. Maids in every day, towels changed daily. Very clean although decor is abit dated but who spends all their time in their room. Cardiac hill is not that bad. My mum whis waiting on a knee replacement managed it every night. Beach at the bottom of that hill. We webt to the sealife centre one afternoon which was really good also helped keep my son out the sun for a few hrs (kids & sun sometimes need a break) better to book tix online as it saves you about 6euros each. Close to shops & restaurant's. I would highly recommend this hotel for all different groups of people. If your looking for 5* then maybe not for you but if you want somewhere to chill out have a good time that's clean & close to everything then this is your place. If you want a good seat at the pool you will have to get up early as by 9am most beds had towels on them & they had lilos in the pools when i was there. More
Very budget hotel, but personal very helpful, bar staff friendly and do their job extremely well. Good location, entertaining is below average. Snack bar has very limited choice of food. If traveling with kids who like to snack between the meals better choose different hotel as only burgers and tasteless hot dogs available. More
Good for the price
For a 3 star and the money we paid, it was a bargain. We didn't have any issues regarding the food or drinks. There were stag parties although load didn't cause any problems. We normally stay in 4/5 star but travelled with people on a budget, would I go back yes. The only issue I had was that I paid for a premium room and it was the same as standard room but with a kettle and fridge, nothing like the pictures.More
