This sea-view hotel has a beach across the road and a pool back at base. The restaurant puts on a good buffet, too.
Las Arenas is just across the road from Bil Bil Beach, so it gets sweeping views of the Med. It has its own pool, too, plus a buffet restaurant and a lounge bar with live entertainment.
Benalmadena town starts just behind the hotel, and there are shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. There’s also a pretty promenade that runs all the way through a marina to Torremolinos.

What a wonderful Hotel, from arrival to leaving. stayed at Las Arenas during Easter holidays. On arrival reception staff were welcoming and very informative, we arrived mid evening, dinner had finished but a cold plate was waiting in restaurant for us. Rooms are cleaned everyday, sheets and towels changed daily. The staff cleaning rooms were friendly and always greeted guest with a hello and a smile. Restaurant Staff were also friendly, helpful and quick at clearing tables so other guest could be seated quickly, (there wasn't often anyone queuing to enter dining room. Food was well presented, good choice of dishes served at right temperature. Staff in all areas couldn't do enough for guest. Would definitely return to this hotel and recommend to friends.More
Overall the hotel is good, very spanish feel to it, staff all good, food was ok We had a room at the front of the hotel, lovely views, but it was i little noisy at night due to the main road directly operate the hotel, this did affect our sleep. But ask for a room further away from the front and you will be ok. I booked and paid for this hotel with ALPHAROOMS, , they cancelled my first booking, and i had to phone up to book it again, nearly 2 hours on the phone and £60 extra My advice is to book direct with the hotel.More
Best Hotel Atmosphere ever
We have just returned from a family holiday at the Las Arenas and what an amazing hotel it is!! There were 9 of us staying at the hotel and the youngest was 5 months old ( his first ever holiday abroad ) and we loved it. The staff are brilliant !! So friendly and welcoming, especially Alberto and Mica. The food is fantastic. The hotel is so clean all the way throughout. The drinks are brilliant, especially happy hour from 5pm whilst 6pm Buy one get one free also available on cocktails. It's safe to say we will soon be booking to return for next April. More
though living in spain for thirty years, i often take a trip from my homestead ALGERCIRAS to TORREMOLINOS AND BENALMADENA, both coastal holiday spots.we stay in HOTEL LAS ARENAS, a moderate priced hotel ,in a good position to the beach, yet far enough away to be quiet, the food i have no faults at all with excellent choices, the hotel is a great attraction for english speaking people.and entertainment every night.one thing i would insist on is a walk or taxi to ARROYA DEL MIEL, a village up the hill with countless attractions ,including a fun park ,a cable car, well worth the view, and very good shops and cafes, for families ,i would reccomend all of these places,More
Fantastic 10 day holiday
Had a great stay in Las Arenas Hotel. Staff friendly and work hard, Hotel and rooms very clean with sheets and towels changed daily. Food excellent.varied and hot. Entertainment excellent especially Ricky. Only negative was size of room for three ladies was not big enough. Three single beds all together, the middle person had to crawl in and out of their bed as there was no room on either side. I had emailed Hotel to ask for a larger room on an upper floor at front of the hotel, we were given a room on the first floor with a side view. When I asked at reception if we could move to an upper floor we were told quite directly that the hotel was full, although we noticed the next morning quite a lot of people checked out. This didn't spoil our holiday though it would have made it even better if we had more space to move in the room.More
