Second visit and not disappointed will be returning
Second time at this value for money hotel. Yes it's basic but the staff work hard to give you a lovely holiday. Our room overlooked the pool. , sunrise was beautiful, distant views of the sea. Thankyou again for a lovely holiday. More

Value for money
recently refurbished the bedrooms are more than adequate for the little time you'll spend in them . Rooms have balconies , try to get the southern facing rooms for sun all day. The outside pool is complemented by the heated indoor pool together with the spa treatment area. Communal areas have plenty of seating. The dining room is rather like a works canteen but the food quality and choice for breakfast is excellent. One improvement would be provision of some form of bar snack / tapas for those that arrive from the airport outside of hours (3-7pm)... though the tapas at the Los Arcos hotel is only 50m east and well worth the walk .More

We've just had a 7nt stay and had a wonderful time. The hotel is real value for money holiday. If your used to 4 star accommodation then you will be disappointed. Its a simple 3 star at best but caters for all your needs and the food is faultless.More

Good 3 star hotel
We got a very good thomson deal with this hotel and found it realy good value for money. The check in was smooth even with quite a lot of people at reception. We were given room 220 which was at the front of the hotel above reception. The room was small and had the tiny balcony mentioned in other reviews. We tried to change our room on two occasions to no avail which was disappointing. The road was noisy and cold . The hotel overal provided a good maid service , good food and good entertainment appart from the spanish dancing on our last night which was not a good experience. The walk into town and back is not a challange but up from the beach is.We are both in our 70s and just about managed. A good hotel but contact them before you go and ask for a room other than the ones overlooking the road.More
This was our first visit to mainland Spain and I'm glad we picked this hotel and area. The hotel is friendly and relaxing ideal for a mini break it's a good 20 minute walk to the town center but it's a pleasant stroll and not to bad coming back. The balcon de europe area has a lovely cafe culture ideal for people watching . Lots of streets to wander around. The beach from the hotel is a steep walk down so we just got a taxi back up . The food is good and plentiful the restaurant is well ran by a very efficient team led by the excellent maitre d Jose. The rooms are comfortable. When it rained we spent our time in the lounge area reading . The only thing I missed was a kettle in the room for an early morning cuppa. Breakfast not served until 7.45 amMore
