Really lovely hotel
Stayed here for a week at the end of June with my daughter & parents. Adults only hotel which makes it peaceful around the pool & main areas of the hotel, which was nice. Lovely lobby area and really lovely staff at the desk - Reuben was great at checkin. Pool view Room was adequate for two & good to have the sink & mirror separate to the bathroom for two ladies getting ready at the same time! Good selection at breakfast but dining hall does get quite manic. Pool bar serves nice snacks & food & drink was more reasonable than I'd expected. Good location to walk into Puerto Banus, taxis available outside too. Only criticism would be that the musical entertainment is outside and goes on quite late - only effects you if you stay poolside. Lovely hotel let down on an evening by poor bar area and waiter service, food on an evening ok if you like buffet, again waiter service not great for drinks, same at breakfast when waiters went missing when trying to order a hot drink, had to seek them out.Only one bar open on an evening which wasn't helpful if you didn't fancy the cabaret More
What a fabulous time we had here it ticked all the boxes the Hotel was clean the rooms were cleaned every day with clean bath towels .The service in the pool rea was very good and the waiting staff couldn't do enough for you. There was smch choice at breakfast time and evening meal I would also like to say a big thank you to the young blonde haired girl who greeted us for our evening meal she was so helpful and always had a smile on her face.More
Started bad but got better
Stayed as a couple at the beginning of May for a one week short break in a privilege room. The check in was quick via the privilege reception but then we where left to our own devices to find our room. After previously staying at many H10 hotels using their privilege service, the room supplied was possible the most basic room we have stayed in at a H10 hotel with not even one draw to put a sock into. As other reviewers have mentioned the rooms are interconnecting and yes, you can hear all the noises from the adjoining rooming! the room led out to a small balcony but this was poorly furnished in old, basic chairs and table, shame the privilege rooms don't even warrant a nice small bistro set. The biggest disappointment regarding the hotel was the amount of disruptive groups that where present, being an adults only hotel you can expect groups to be present but as other reviewers have mentioned some of these create an atmosphere than is not relaxing for other guests, though the hotel management team state that the do not tolerate disturbances in common areas there was no evidence of any member of the team dealing with such groups. Once one certain group had left the pool area became a more welcoming environment, plenty of sun lounges, not close together and a nice grassed area that provided a selection of sunny and shaded areas. Unfortunately the pool area was not the only area to be disturbed by groups, hit the bar area too early and there would be the loud, boisterous groups with bad language having been drinking all day, ready to head out into town for another session. The privilege aspect of the hotel is pretty below par, as mentioned the room is not to the standard of other hotels, though the privilege lounge was nicely furnished and set out the free bar lacked anything of interest and was a disappointment compared to others, there was no outside seating area either to enjoy the sun whilst enjoying an iced tea. The privilege terrace was small, slightly neglected and provided a shaded heaven for some until the afternoon when the sun finally came around to the terrace, a nice Jacuzzi is included located in a sheltered area but unlike all the other H10 privilege terrace areas, there is no drinks service offered. The Cordoba restaurant was very good for breakfast and evening meals, though the evening menu was limited, the service and food was to a great standard and on par with others. Overall, the hotel is in a good location with very nice common area's, the restaurants are good and the drinks service is adequate, its let down by the acceptance of some clientele at the sacrifice of others and a mish mash privilege service.More
Couldn't fault anything, superb hotel and facilities. Fabulous room with pool view. Immaculately maintained. Food superb, nothing they didn't have. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would certainty stay in a H10 hotel again.More
