Check in at 3am wasn't ideal - elderly gentleman checked us in and this was very slow. Stayed for a week during half term. As light sleepers, I e-mailed a month before we travelled to request a room in a quiet area of the hotel. Received a response saying this would be honoured, subject to availability. Disappointed to be put next to the maid's cupboard and woken at 8:00am EVERY morning by their chatter! Rooms as mentioned by other guests are small but workable. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Food at the hotel was what made it for us - freshly grilled meat and fish with a host of salads and freshly cooked omelettes for breakfast. Staff were friendly across the board. Lots of areas for sunbathing on different levels and there always seemed to be beds available. Entertainment was the worst we've seen - that said some of the teatime entertainment was fabulous. Evening entertainment improved when it was outside as the acoustics could cope with it better. The entertainment team were just ANNOYING! Every single mealtime they walked round the dining room - obvious this was a requirement rather than something they wanted to do! I was VERY disappointed with cocktails at the hotel. I am not a wine/spirits drinker and enjoy cocktails on holiday. The AI cocktails are the worst I've ever come across. A decent cocktail was €5.50. When I have paid for AI I shouldn't have to pay extra just to have a drink I enjoy - not good enough! The hotel is situated in a lovely bay, quiet and peaceful. Clientele is older but we wondered if this was more due to half term as some younger, noisier groups started to arrive the day before we left. Definitely wouldn't return to this hotel - it could be amazing but definitely areas to improve on to get there!More
Returned for the 2nd time
having stayed at The Palladium Cala Llunga last September, we were SO impressed with the Hotel and resort that we returned on May 31st 2017 for one week. I am delighted to say that all expectations were met! A majority of the staff are the same, we received an excellent from Reception, Guest Hospitality, restaurant & bar staff, the show cook Chef and the lovely people who keep the hotel clean and tidy. We stayed in room 605, top floor, sea view (having an upgrade room last year which was at the back of the hotel and was very dark). The wifi has improved since last year and the beds were comfortable. The AC should be left on at night - it seems to reduce in intensity during the day and again after about 7pm. I have to congratulate the Palladium on their excellent hospitality skills and please keep it up - we have been home 10 days and we have just booked to return on May 30th 2018 for our 30th wedding anniversary!More

Our first holiday.
I've never wrote a review before, but felt i had too as We thoroughly enjoyed every second of our holiday We arrived on the 2nd June in the middle of the night to be swiftly checked in and in our room. The room which although was quite small had everything you need and more, including gowns and slippers. The views from our balcony were fabulous, we payed the extra for a sea view and it didn't dissapoint we could see the whole of the bay and the beach it was beautiful. The food was lovely fresh meat, fish prawns squid etc cooked while you waited with loads of other options too. The catering staff were lovely working tirelessly to clear the tables and serve drinks and always smiling. The entertainment was great, made even better by the entertainments guy who was hilarious. The actual resort was lovely and peaceful ideal when you need a quiet break, with lots of shops, we did catch the bus to Ibiza town and to Santa Eulalia which was great about 4 euros for us both. I could go on.....I would highly recommend this hotel our first holiday was perfect from start to finish. Thankyou Palladium.More
Relaxing Stay - Again.
My wife and I have just returned from a very pleasant 10 day stay. This was our third visit to this hotel and we enjoyed it very much. Built on the side of a hill with a "cliff" face joined by lots of steps it's probably not for the severely infirm -although there are two lifts that will take you down to the restaurant floor (one above the pool bar). There is a chair lift system for the final descent - but I never saw it used. On this visit we stayed in a twin room overlooking the main entrance (which we requested by email following a similar allocation previously) which had a free safe, a hair dryer, TV, a fridge, toiletries, and a modern bathroom with an effective shower. The bed was a little soft for my liking but it was okay. Storage space was adequate. It was a pity that the pool bar closed at 8.00pm as the evenings remained light and warm long afterwards. The bar transferred to the reception floor but it was a bit like a theatre bar - although there was some outside space as well. The restaurant in my view make this hotel. It was small enough to not be overwhelming and could be busy but not too bustling. The food was excellent, well laid out and with a good choice. I was surprised that long trousers weren't required at evening meals. Entertainment was of a good standard. Some took place outside on the pool bar stage which could be heard in the rooms at the front, but would end at 11.00pm. The hotel was very clean and the staff efficient, helpful and pleasant. This hotel, which is adults only, remains one of our favourites and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. We look forward to visiting again in the future.More
