Ok but not the best holiday ever. 3 star at best. Food great, pool area overcrowded with a struggle to get sun beds. Water park looks good but overcrowded with potential for injury - particularly the space bowl slide. I wouldn't go againMore

The Best Family Holiday I have ever had
Make no mistake - We are your average 2 Child family with two girls Aged 4 and 8. This holiday will be perfect if you have a family like mine.. I am not one to write large reviews but I need to shower this hotel with all the praise it deserves. Hotel itself - Big enough to feel like you are in a proper Hotel but small enough to feel safe and looked after. Kids clubs and Entertainment - Flawless Waterpark - Ideal proximity to the hotel and great water park Food - Great choice and Quality - Never had anything twice Snacks - Just as good Location - Couldn't be better - Far enough away from San an to get a great view and no noise. The little beach down the road is awesome This hotel was a dream - would 100% go back Adam / Gemma / Grace / Daisy - June 2016More
Me, my partner and 2 children visited in october 2016, all the staff and reps were fab we have a fantastic time and the beach is a 5 min walk and is beautiful. We got a water taxi a number of times and the kids loved the adventure! The kids loved the kids clubs they had on my eldest was in @611 and youngest was in bamsi. They did different activities everyday and always came out with a picture of something they had made. We also visited the hippy market, i wouldnt recommended it personally most of the stalls were the same stuff and u get stuck there for hours just looking at the same stuff.More
Fantastic first family holiday
This is our third time spent at the club aura. It did not disappoint as the first holiday with our new baby. We upgraded to the new block which is worth it. The rooms are big and bright and modern. There is a huge rainfall shower and a separate whirlpool bath which we used every night and my daughter loved. There is a kitchenette with a microwave (which fits mam bottles) which was so handy being able to sterilise in the room. We made good use of the dulce gusto machine. The balcony is big and most rooms have a lovely view of the infinity pool and the ocean. Lots of hanging space but not enough drawer space. You also had to pay for the safe which I think should be included when you upgrade. The safe is there so let it be used. The infinity pool self service bar was handy but unfortunately did not serve beer (due to self service). The infinity pool is a lovely pool with beautiful views of the sea. Unfortunately we only went swimming three times in 2 weeks for only 15 minutes because the water was so cold. Even the indoor pool was freezing. Kids didn't seem to mind but younger children and adults couldn't stand it. You really need to heat your pools. I felt sorry for the lifeguard (who was very friendly) watching an empty pool everyday. This did put a bit of a dampener on it as we were looking forward to taking our baby swimming everyday. The hotel is very clean and all the staff are very friendly and very good with children. We enjoyed the food very much. The restaurant has a good selection and the snack bar is also good. The Japanese restaurant is amazing and the tapas was also good but service was a little slow. These are included in the price which we were pleased with because last time the Japanese was â¬15 each. There could be a better selection of cocktails but the wine is very good. They have microwaves and bottle warmers in the restaurant and also a baby room which has sterilisers and microwaves in which is good. The gym seems to be upgraded since last time with newer machines which we were pleased with. The sauna was out of order. There is a soft play room for 0-3 year olds. Unfortunately we only went in there once as older kids seemed to take over throwing the soft play objects around. We were happily playing but had to make a quick exit when the big kids barged in. Not sure how this can be managed other than parents taking a bit more notice. The beach a few minutes walk away is lovely and peaceful and the bar gives it a chilled vibe. The water park is fun and has things for all ages. There is a convenience store across the road but don't come away thinking you will buy things here. They have everything you need and more but it is extremely overpriced. â¬2.75 for a sharing bag of crisps. â¬3 for a small bag of nuts. Baby supplies! Nappy wipes â¬3 a pack. Pack of 18 nappies â¬9.70. Small pack of swim nappies â¬8. Jar of baby food (first foods) â¬2.50. If I bought it all there I would have spent a fortune. Order your supplies at boots and pick up at the airport. All in all another excellent stay and will definitely be returning next year. But please please please heat your swimming pools! More

What a Gem!!!
I was a little sceptical after reading some reviews on here, however there was no need to have any concerns..... Great hotel....clean, well laid out, fantastic staff, good sized practical rooms and in a fantastic area. We loved it and had a fabulous relaxing week. I travelled as a single parent with my 16 year old son and my 12 year old daughter. The only downside I encountered was the lack of cocktails included on the all inclusive.....please add mojito's. Would love to return!More
