Nice hotel near the beach.
Nice hotel only 30 metres from the beach and a supermarket close by. Rooms cleaned every day by a pleasant and polite maid. Two pools and although the usual queue was there to put the towels out at 9am it wasn't too hard to get a lounger. The only negative was a lack of quality professional shows on the evening. The hotel entertainment team worked hard up it did get a bit repetitive with them on most nights. Although I have to say the Michael Jackson tribute night was very good. For anyone on self catering I can thoroughly recommend Smiths bar nearby for excellent food and great service. Would visit this hotel again More
Great family friendly hotel
We had a wonderful vacation at this hotel. It's very clean and child friendly and the staff were extremely warm and helpful. The breakfast and dinner spreads were very nice - the range was just right. We didn't drink alcohol and were forced to pay for water during dinner - the hotel really needs to provide free drinking water during dinner the way they did during breakfast. The hotel is just a short walk from the beach which was lovely, the water was clean and blue and quite shallow for hundreds of feet hence quite safe for non-swimmers.The fitness centre is quite small and basic with just one treadmill, stepper and cycle and token dumbbells. The hotel has free wifi but it would be nice if they provided a free safe and beach towels instead of charging extra for them. One improvement would be to have separate smoking areas near the pool since currently non smokers have to just put up with the smokers. Suggest asking for rooms facing the stage so that one can take in the daily evening performances from the comfort of the room.More

Very good hotel, steps from the beach.
Very nice and clean hotel. Rooms have a kitchenette which is nice for meals and snacks if you want. we also got the breakfast along with the room and we thought it was a goo value. Mallorca's public bus system is terrible. We recommend Nadal Transport from the airport to the hotel and back (transfermallorca.com). we also did a trip back to Palma for sightseeing and recommend nofrillsnofrills-excursions.com. It's round trip bus with a guaranteed seat, discount on harbor tour and cathedral tickets, and runs on time.More
We arrived on the Monday morning to a very friendly reception and very helpful, Check in was quick and easy and all very well explained to us, The entrance is very clean and impressive with nice flooring and good seating, We got into our room straight away, The rooms are very spacious and have some great items such as coffee percolator and fridge to add to the comfort of the week, We stayed in an Apartment plus on the third floor and with a seas view it was a beautiful place to sit in the morning and watch the sunrise, We did have a pool view and also the large grass patch out the rear where kids play football but cause no issues with noise, The entertainment though the the week was probably the only part of the week that was let down, The 4 entertainment staff were brilliant but some of the events got a boring quickly. Location is amazing for beach access with the rear entrance being about 30 steps from the sand which is amazing, For the old town do not walk hahaha, It was a huge mistake it took us 2 hours to walk it in 32 degrees, and same on the way back.Taxis are just round the corner and will cost less then â¬10 overtime and its worth that. We ate at the hotel a few nights and the food was great all good quality at night meal and breakfast everyday was great. On a whole for the week it was superb stay at the hotel would like more english TV channels in the room for later at night when the weather was raining. I would recommend this hotel if you have kids.More
Fantastic Family Holiday
Just back from another great family holiday at Ivory Playa. We've been lots of times over the years. This is was our first time bringing our children who are 6 and 4. I personally think this hotel and the general area is perfect for a family holiday. The hotel facilities are great, the pools are lovely with lots of sunbeds. The apartments are very spacious and comfortable with a small but well equipped kitchen. All the staff are extremely pleasant. The entertainment team are so friendly with the kids at the Kids Disco. The hotel bar makes great cocktails and is competitively priced. There is a large supermarket just across the road and loads of restaurants are within walking distance, we especially enjoyed a restaurant called Leon Rojo. For us the best part was the beach which is less than 50 yards away. The water stays shallow for miles out and our kids had a great time. We're already looking to book for next year! More
