Lovely relaxing holiday hotel
This is a great hotel , we stayed here for two weeks from the 10/09. The hotel it's self is very very clean and the rooms are done almost every day. We had a one bed apartment on the 5th floor. There was too really big sofas so the apartment could easily take 4 people. The kitchen was fully kitted out full fridge small freezer box , toaster , hobs and microwave. There is a kettle but we brought our own plug in one. Big screen tv with uk channels, Full bathroom and bath and shower, again all really good. We didn't eat in the hotel as we wee self catering but the food looked nice. The pool bar is a little expensive but then you'd expect to pay more by a pool. The location was the best bit for us. It's a good 3.5k beech walk to the port and we walked it ever morning. The hotel is in the middle of the strip you can walk either way for great bars and restaurants. The hotel really is 30 seconds from the beech which is great because you don't get people walking in off the beech to use the pool and toilets. We have already booked to go back next year. The location is great if your into walking out each day. More
Easiest time we have had getting sunbeds in morning's . Food pretty good .service always good in restaurant and poolside bar . Roons clean . Staff always have a smile and a hello as you pass them .would recommend More
Was visiting a friend and needed a home from home. Ivory Playa certainly fits the bill. Lovely friendly staff and great facilities. Well located for the beach and a nice stroll into the port. The bar and restaurant are reasonably priced and the coffee/tea and cake for £3.85 definitely worth it.More

We were self catering but loved the flexibility to use the half board facilities in the hotel too. Location is good, it is at the far end of Playa d'Alcudia, almost in Playa de Muro and just a two minute walk to a lovely beach. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need if you are self catering. It is comfortable if not a little dated but nice and clean. The beds were tiny - two small single beds pushed together but they were comfortable enough. The air con was OK in the main part of the apartment but was non existent in the bedroom. We had a sea view plus room with our balcony facing the pool and sea. We were lucky enough to get a top floor room which gave us lovely views of the sea and bay. The entertainment was OK - what you would expect but there was a fantastic act on our first night - The Temptations tribute who were one of the best we have ever seen, very good quality act. ( There is a really good Eroski supermarket over the road which has everything you need and there is a Spar about 10 minutes walk towards Playa de Muro which is also well stocked and does lovely fresh bread and croissants. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel and we took the bus into Port D'Alcudia one evening and had a lovely paella in one of the beachfront restaurants with good wine for a very reasonable price. We also caught the bus to Puerta Pollensa on the Wednesday to visit the lovely market there. It was just 1.80 for the full journey but it is very busy and you need to be prepared to stand for some of the journey. The pools at the hotel are lovely with plenty of comfortable sunbeds and a refreshing lack of people reserving beds for hours before using them. The pool is fenced off until 9.00am which is great - no getting up at crazy times for sunbed wars! The atmosphere around the pool is quiet and friendly. All in all, a nice holiday and we would consider going back and recommending to others.More
Better than the rest
We stayed at the Ivory Hotel during the summer and found it to be the perfect retreat to relax. The location was ideal, very near the beach short walk to restaurants (10 min walk) and bus stop right outside going to Can Picafort or Alcudia bay as well as the market place. For those self catering the was a EuroSki supermarket just on the other side of the main road so getting in supplies doesn't require transport. The apartment were clean, modern and comfortable and as the temperature was in the 30's the air con was a blessing during the night. the pool was great with plenty of sun loungers available with some in shaded areas which was essential for us as we like to relax by the pool and read a book without having to apply location every 20 mins. another good point was that you didn't need to invade the pool area at dawn to throw your towel down and reserve loungers, although there were a few that did so at 9am when the pool opened if you came down an hour later there would still be places available. the only downside was the Wi-Fi service which was okay in the reception area but didn't work correctly anywhere else even if you could connect. Although we didn't watch the evening entertainment that much when we did it was decent and my wife loved the temptations evening. we have been coming to Alcudia for the last 15 years to a mixture of hotels and apartment but we have found the Irory to be the best to date.More
