Poor Disabled Services
Supplied with room that was not for disabled person so could not get in bathroom . You cannot get wheelchair in lobby disabled toilet!.Could not get in room without having furniture removed to get chair in. Uneven surfaces no good. Complained but Thomson's and hotel did nothing. One for the older as 50/60s music every night. Sunbeds hard to get. Redeeming is food good and clean. Mediocre value.More
We spent a week here in October reception staff excellent, hotel spotless clean through out, rooms TOO SMALL more suited for one person not two ,entertainment very good ,food plenty to chose BUT same every night ,breakfast very good was a bit annoyed with people NOT cleaning their hands on entering dining room disgusting !! Plenty of sunbeds around the pool overall enjoyed our stay would go back IF they make rooms bigger and vary food at night More
We booked a private taxi transfer so no idea how long the transfer coach took. We arrived at the Hotel well within an hour. Pedro on reception is a lovely man, very pleasant and welcoming. Our room was on the top floor and we paid extra for the full sea view which was well worth it. The top floor wasnt too noisy other than the usual door slammers and we well away from the lift. Rooms are very small probably the smallest Hotel rooms we have ever been in. Cleanliness was a bit lacking and also changing of sheets which we had to complain about. Maybe it was 'end of season' syndrome. Plenty of wardrobe and storage space but only 6 coat hangars between 2 of us. Plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner but sometimes food was undercooked/overcooked. Sliced bread for toasting at breakfast was always dry on the crust. I didnt have the cooked breakfast but husband said some of it was ok. Entertainment at night......we did'nt bother watching any of it. You could hear it well enough from the bedroom. Time warp springs to mind. Oh and Bingo Bingo and yet more Bingo.....in 2 weeks I think there were only 2 nights without it. To sum up.....this Hotel is in a wonderful location and we were told that refurb. would be done this Winter .Hotel staff were 99 per cent excellent. Would be go back.....no....not our kind of entertainment, no character in the resort just lots of tacky shops and lots of bars/cafes. I also learnt a lot of German whilst there.More

The Protur Bonamar is situated on the promenade between Cala Bona and Cala Millor. There are plenty of bars, cafes and shops all within walking distance. The rooms are on the small side and there is a shortage of power points. Although there is plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Food is very good and plentiful with a good variety of hot and cold dishes. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the manager keeps a high profile. Our first visit to Cala Bona and The Bonamar and we would rerturn. Note........Rooms 101, 201, 301, 401 are adjacent to the hotel lift. Not conducive to a good nights sleep.More
