Long weekend for boyfriends 30th
A mini break for my boyfriends 30th, arrived 21/04/17 leaving 25/04/17. On arrival we got champagne, staff were very friendly and welcoming! We went half board, breakfast and dinner had plenty of choice, we was very pleased with what they had to offer! All the staff from the reception staff, waiters/waitress's, cleaners were very friendly and nothing was too much when asked!! The pool was very cold we didn't really go in it, they had warmer jacuzzis inside and outside the hotel. There is a smaller pool on the 6th floor it's a bit warmer and it's like a heat trap was quite private with an amazing view of the pool and sea. The rooms are very modern, and very clean we had a sea view room, not much sun hit the balcony only very early but the view was amazing! The hotel is situated right on the sea front, literally like two seconds away! When you walk down the sea front stretch there are plenty of places for food and drink. It was quiet of a night not many bars to choose from but I think this is due to the out of season time of year. Over all just the type of holiday you need if you just want to chill out and have a lovely time! I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family!!More

Lovely hotel in a great location
My husband and I have just spent a week here and overall we were very happy with our experience. The rooms are modern and clean, if a little on the small side. The bed was also a little small for a double and not the most comfortable we've ever slept in but still adequate. The shower was good, pretty powerful with both a hand held shower head as well as a rainwater shower. Rooms are cleaned and tidied once a day. There is a small fridge in the room for you to use and a large bottle of water is supplied daily. Balcony was small but had a table and two chairs and was nice to sit out on when the sun's on it. The pool area is lovely, at the time of year we visited it was busy but not rammed, so you had a choice of sunbeds and day beds. There are also some hammocks in the gardens. The pool is a good size and has some moulded plastic sunbeds in the shallowest part of the pool so you can relax and lie down whilst being slightly in the water. There is a nice snack bar area by the pool which serves drinks, ice creams, burgers, toasted sandwiches, salads etc all at very reasonable prices. The main bar in the hotel has very good table service and the drinks are well made and again surprisingly come at a reasonable cost for a hotel. The food in the hotel was generally a good standard and there is a variety of choices although we did eat dinner out once or twice as we found the food choices at dinner in particular a little repetitive. All in all a good hotel right on the beach and right near the town so worth staying here if in the Cala Millor area. More
Returned for a second visit to this wonderful hotel recently. Everything was first class again. Thank you to all staff, but a special mention to Cassandra, Juandra, Lupe and Joanna in the restaurant for being so kind and also the wonderful bar staff, Manu, Sergio (the comedian!), Matt, Lori, Luca and Christian. There will be others that I haven't mentioned, but they are all a great asset to this hotel. The food in the restaurant is so good and we did go home a lot heavier than when we arrived! La Espiga is also very good and we enjoyed our meal in there as well. Thank you to all the staff behind the scenes. We were on the 8th floor and had a lovely sea view. The weather was great whilst we were there. We had a lovely holiday once again and we will be returning next year.More
Easter Break 2017
This hotel was very welcoming, on arrival we were offered cava or orange juice before checking in. A lovely touch, that wasn't just a one off during our 5 night stay. In the rooms we were given a large bottle of water daily, shampoo and other toiletries were replenished, by the pool staff gave free ice creams (not all the time); the list just goes on. The reception area very modern, the only minor issue was that everything at reception seemed to take longer than normal. Every transaction had numerous print outs / receipts. The lounge and bar area has been designed to create a relaxing intimate atmosphere, with seats arranged in little areas, rather than traditional seating to face a stage. The entertainment every night set up and was great, it wasn't overly loud, just enough to enjoy and continue with conversations. The restaurant was superb, with the waiting staff who couldn't do enough for you down to the abundance of food options. I particularly liked the choice your own vegetables and meat to be grilled option. Unfortunately on the BBQ evening I did have a chicken kebab which was raw at the end, but this wasn't a major issue as these things happen. On the food forks by the chip section was also a small curly black hair! Thankfully food was constantly being refreshed. Have to say the soups here are amazing, I could have had that very evening. Along with the small coconut biscuits. We had a sea view facing room, I'm glad we did. Our view was spectacular even if we didn't get the sun throughout the day, the view was far better than poolside. The decor inside the rooms was modern and fresh. Bathrooms were gorgeous, with a rain shower and normal shower heads too. I especially love the light switch pads which allow you to switch all lights off with once touch. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning during our stay, especially when the temperature was as high as 26 on one day. Poolside area was comfy and access to the beach was easy. The infinity pool area didn't have any breeze, but was a nice area if you wanted to get away from the main pool. Water at this time was cold, but once you're in it was fine. The lifeguard however was annoying (we saw two during our stay), one of them spent his entire time talking on his phone. When your relaxing by the pool this became extremely annoying. Don't be phased by the walk to Cala Bona, it's a lovely stroll along the promenade to the marina area. I'd definitely stay here again and without a doubt in a Protur hotel. The final touch was once we had checked out (12!) our flight wasn't until 11.30pm. The hotel offered us free evening meal. This was a nice token and we left with even more positive thoughts about this hotel. More
