This beachside hotel comes with great views, a sociable buffet restaurant and a cocktail bar.
The hotel slices the coast between the beaches of Son Matias and Palma Nova, so there’s sand outside and sea views from every room. It’s 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of town, and less than 15 to Magaluf.
The good-sized pool looks out over the sandy beach, and it’s circled by thatched parasols. Food-wise, the buffet restaurant serves some great fish dishes, while a pair of bars covers cocktails and entertainment.

Perfect location - half board stay
Me and my boyfriend stayed here in July last year. I had previously stayed with my family many years before and remembered it's amazing location beachfront on one of the most white sandy beaches I'd seen! On return as a 25year old with my boyfriend this location did not disappoint. We managed to get a good deal for 7 nights flying from london (a good couple hundred pound each cheaper than a local airport) and this was based on half board breakfast and dinner included. Really quick transfer to hotel!! The rooms were just as I'd remembered as we didn't opt for a renovated superior room at an extra cost of £100. It was clean and comfortable, average size with a lovely bathroom with bath and overhead shower in classic Spanish marble decor. But the winning aspect of the room was the balcony overlooking the beautiful stretch of beach! We were not on the poolside and I feel this is the best side to be on as we had late afternoon sun so could sit out before and after dinner and no noise from the pool below. We paid extra for a fridge key which I think shouldn't have a charge and the fridge wasn't very cold! But was used to store drinks for the room. Breakfast was good as you expect for a buffet. There was a station where a lady made pancakes fresh too which was a nice touch. At night this was also a station where various meats/fish were cooked to Order and would be different each night and also a pasta station. The evening meals were mainly good throughout the week we enjoyed the Chinese themed night in particular which wouldn't usually be to our tastes but was actually well done. Only one night where I couldn't really feel satisfied but was a weekend so maybe a different chef? Lovely desserts too each night. Yes there are chips and some western type food but there was always a Spanish dish on offer fish or beef stew etc. The hotel facilities were good also. The pool was busy but we made the most of the lovely beach which is literally on the doorstep. We sometimes had late afternoon in the pool when some space freed up around it. If you want a quick and great value lunch the pool bar serves cheap and cheerful meals which were cooked fresh such as burgers and sandwiches and chips and pizzas. It offers all inclusive however we didn't have it. But I'm not an alcohol drinker and neither is my boyfriend. So didn't seem worth it. Lots of lovely places to eat for lunch some cheaper and others more expensive but worth it. We had a more expensive meal one evening as a change from the hotel at 'the grill' and can recommend beautiful steaks. And one of my favourite things to do was stroll down the beach promenade to the little mojito stand that served alcoholic and no alcoholic take away mojitos in big clear cups, I think we tried all the flavours and the pink one was the best! Only â¬2.50 each and considering most of the surrounding bars charged â¬6 for a non alcoholic cocktail these were so much nicer! There is an Aldi about 8-10 mins walk into magaluf and it's great for stocking up on water and nibbles for the room! A bus ride into Palma is a must to see the beautiful city and cathedral the beautiful backstreets with horse drawn carts, however, give the Palma market a miss as it's not worth the trek from the cathedral area whatsoever. All in all, the hotel is everything you need for a wonderful stay in Palma nova. Yes you could get better food and maybe more of a luxurious room but for the location it's amazing and definitely worth a stay IF you can get an offer. We paid £400 approx for our week half board in beginning of July. More
This was my 2nd visit and it was as nice as the first visit. Clean and comfy rooms. Great views either side of the hotel. Good food. You should always find something to eat and good choice if you have any dietary requirements. Always space by the pool. Good choice of drinks and some good entertainment in the evenings. More
This hotel was very good and would return. Palma Nova had plenty of good restaurants and bars. The beaches were lovely. We had gorgeous weather and found plenty to do although we enjoyed the views from our hotel balcony. We spent late nights overlooking the bay from this balcony and enjoying the lights and they had a celebration with all the beach lit with candles and families enjoying the spectacle.More
Excellent hotel in a first rate location
We have been here many times, as have other holiday makers that recognise a good hotel. We first found this place in the 70's and it has the best location in Palma Nova, every room has a seaview. What keeps us coming back? It's a very clean hotel and although the accommodation isn't luxurious it is fine for the time you need to spend in your room. Some people say the food isn't up to much but we have found it really good, particularly if you like salads and we've never had stomach upsets - which says quite a lot compared to other hotels! I wouldn't call this a 'family' friendly hotel because there isn't much going on for children but as a couple we love it. I'm sure there are other hotels in this area that are more child friendly. I use a wheelchair and this is a very disabled friendly hotel - no steps. They also have disabled rooms but don't really advertise them so you need to ask your travel agent or phone when booking.More
