Great hotel, great facilities
Visited with a group of 12 cycling friend for 1 week. Facilities were great, the hotel was clean, modern and fresh. Breakfast was spot on, staff were all really helpful. Can't find a fault. Would visit again.More
We spent a week here with friends for a cycling/triathlon holiday. The welcome at reception was friendly and efficient. Throughout our stay, every member of the team was friendly and helpful. Particular credit goes to the reception team, for whom nothing was too much trouble. I attended the free swim masterclass with Sebastian in the lanes pool on Monday morning, and as a result, booked a further 1-2-1 session on Wednesday. He has a great style of coaching, and clearly has lots of experience as a swimmer and coach, and with only two sessions I had made huge improvements to my swim stroke and technique. He has followed up by sending me videos and tips to help me to continue to work on what he taught me. I would highly recommend his sessions for anyone wanting to improve their swim technique. The hotel is immaculate. On the last day, I was unwell with a cold, so spent a day at the leisure pool, and it was obvious that the staff are busy all day keeping the grounds, hotel, pool and restaurant areas clean and beautiful. The pool area is quiet and relaxing. The apartment we stayed in (room 137) overlooked the pool, and although it was above the bar we did not find we were disturbed by noise as the rooms are very well soundproofed. The rooms are clean, well equipped (washing up liquid/cloths, tea towel are provided) and the beds comfortable. The fridges are large with a small freezer box, there is a microwave and 2-ring electric hob, and enough cutlery and crockery for 6. A clothes airer and a few pegs are also provided on the balcony. We went self-catering and we're extremely happy with the facilities and equipment provided. The bicycle garage is well equipped and felt very safe. It was very busy from 8-10am with a lovely friendly buzz as everyone got ready to go out cycling for the day. Two free to use washing machines and a tumble dryer are a wonderful touch, and as we cycled most days, it was great not to have to leave sweaty cycling gear sitting around for days, or have to hand wash in the sink! Soap is available to purchase at reception (although we bought some at the supermarket), but next year, I would take a few liquitabs with me. This hotel is perfect for sports enthusiasts in couples or groups, but would also be suitable for a family with a small child. It is more adults than child friendly, but this suited us as we don't have children, and for the nature of the holiday we wanted. We intend to return again next May (and possibly even sooner if annual leave/flights work out!). More
Great for Active Holidays
This hotel is fantastic for active holidays, my husband is a cyclist and it offers all you need and wish for (large secure garage, tools, washing machines etc). I used the large training swimming pool, which is extremely busy with triathletes early morning but practically empty from 10am onwards. There is a small shop too, but stuff there has practically no interest to serve customers. The staff of the hotel is very friendly. The only downside is, the hotel is not soundproof at all. The noise starts early morning when athletes leave their rooms for swimming and cycling, slamming doors, shouting across corridors, walking in their loud cycling shoes. Due to its many large groups, at times this hotel felt more like a school holiday camp rather than a relaxing adult holiday. More
A great hotel got even better
We're just back from a weeks cycling holiday in Majorca. This was our fourth visit in 3 years to Villaconcha and once again we were not disappointed. A number of changes and improvements have taken place over the winter months including remodelling the kitchen and bar area and new faces amongst the staff to name a few. Luckily for us most of our trusted favourites Caitlin, Alex and Pepe were all there smiling and as helpful and friendly as ever and it was a pleasure to see them again however all of the staff throughout every area of the hotel including the new faces were fantastic. The improvements in the kitchen have led to improvements in the quality of the food on offer with variations every night of our stay. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard and I must say the cleaners work tirelessly throughout the hotel for many hours and I will stress that this does not go unnoticed. All other areas including the gym, bike garage, pool areas etc are all perfect if you're looking like us for a clean, friendly and well equipped hotel which allows you to be as active or relaxed as you need. Thanks again to Caitlin, Alex and Pepe who all always seem to go the extra mile to make us feel very welcome and we look forward to visiting again soon. Alan & JaneMore

easter holiday in Hoposa Hotel Villaconcha
My family and I though that stay at Villaconcha was wonderful. The staff were always helpful and friendly, the service was excellent, and the facilities were the best we have enjoyed at a hotel. We are definitely going to return for another holidayMore
