First time to Majorca
We have just enjoyed a week here with our 11 year old daughter. We loved it. Room was a bit small but clean. The view was amazing. Staff really friendly. Hotel is situated right by the sea (you literally walk out of the hotel, past the pool and go down the steps into the sea!), is close to the beach and plenty of shops, bars and restuarants. The only downside was that you have to pay for the WiFi (you do get 1 hour free everyday which was fine for me but daughter moaned wasn't enough), sunloungers and for the use of an iron, whereas everywhere else we have stayed these have all been free! Having said that, we would definitely stay here again 😊More

I was disappointed with the view I had in my room of a wall, did not feel luxe by any means, all these great seaview pictures are advertised online, and I was stuck in a box with no view, not great. I called the reception to see if we could be moved, but no such luck, and no interest from the receptionist in assisting us. Aside from that, the pool is large but there are not enough sunbeds to sustain the number of guests in the hotel, its a war. The view from the pool and the restaurant are nice though, and Santa Ponsa is a very nice area to stay, a ton of bars and restaurants to eat, I absolutely was happy with the location.More
Arrived on the 1st Aug about lunch time and got all the formalities at the reception out of the way including paying for WiFi and deposit box and hotel keys . The lady was most helpful. Our sea view on the 1st floor was outstanding , views from every direction. The room itself was fitted with a fridge and kettle. Eaten many times in the hotel and everytime didnt disappoint, even our little girl ( 7 ) enjoyed it . Overall a perfect stay had by all More
Great Family Holiday
Back yesterday after 10 days. Had a sea view 1 bedroom apartment, plenty of space for a family of 4. One of my favourite things was sitting on the balcony and the views over the beach enjoying my morning coffee. Rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. Great location, 5 mins walk to beach and numerous bars and restaurants. Didn't use the pool very crowded and the usual sunbed reserving issues, we prefer the beach. Beach club next to hotel is nice for a cocktail and chill out after a hot day sunbathing. Dinner out every night, our favourites were La Solana, the best lasagne ever and Xaloc wonderful grilled fish and prawns. Went to Palma on local bus for the day, for four of us was 26 euros return. My husband and teenage boys also visited Western Water Park which they loved !! The promenade along the beach is lovely for an evening stroll, shaded by pine trees and the sunset views are wonderful. The Square is five mins walk left out of the hotel. A large central stage area surrounded by bars and souvenir shops ok for a few hours of entertainment and more family orientated. If you walk right for 10 mins out of the hotel is the Strip, cocktail bars and live music probably more suited if you want a lively party atmosphere, bars stay open until about 4.00 am. We will definitely return to Verdemar and Santa Ponsa had a wonderful holiday. More
