Five star view
Upgraded to a seaview studio and for three-star prices it offers a five-star view. Our studio was however the smallest Iâve stayed in â it was typical of a usual hotel bedroom but it looks like the wardrobe has been turned into a kitchen (so limited storage). You have to plug the toaster in on one bedside table and the kettle in another as there was no plugs by the âkitchenâ worktops. Other negative of the studio was that it didnât have a bath and my toddler really didnât like having a shower (and the bathroom could do with more hooks to hang things up as the floor gets very wet). Whilst this all sounds negative we had a lovely time and the studios were very clean and modern, tv had cbeebies which my toddler did like. And the pool area and surrounding environment are lovely â the bar does a great sangria and Pacos opposite is fab for a good value meal. Yep, itâs annoying that you pay for sunbeds but on the plus side you could always get a sunbed and the pool area was kept clean. Location is ideal â square five minutes to the left, beach five minutes to the right and supermarket opposite. Would definitely visit again if I could get a seaview room.More
Just returned home from verdemar A few honest points. Book a Seaview room it's worth every penny ... We were in floor six and the view was amazingdaiky as we passed reception, people were asking for a sea view room We had a studio it was perfect, had 2 single beds, modern, small catering facilities, kettle, toaster, fridge 2 ring hob Tv with 3 British channels Modern bathroom Now... I stayed 4 weeks ago for 3 nights st Santa Ponsa Park/pionero which is a 4 star Rooms are decorated exactly the same, bathroom same etc This hotel in my opioin was the same ... If not better (fridge, kettle, toaster) and room slightly bigger at verdemar due to the little kitchen area. One bug bare... You have to pay for sunbeds. By now I can understand this as its pool location is on the beach and accessible by anybody, however I think if your a guest you could of been given a card for free use of the beds. Lovely helpful staff, Just book a seaviewMore
Great time clean room friendly staff the view from our room was rubbish but we didn't go to sit on the balcony the hotel wasn't that busy but it started to get that way towards the end the entertainment staff where great made it one to remember. More
Nice hotel and good value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff.. Very picturesque resort. Resort reasonably busy but I am sure a lot busier from June onwards. A good local bus service and easy to get to other resorts quite cheaply.More

When we arrived we got offered a sea view room for a charge of 10 euros a day which I would recommend as the views of the beach, sea and pool are fantastic - well worth the money, if you don't choose a sea view room your view would be a white brick wall. Our room was cleaned every day, fresh towels and clean bedding. The pool area was lovely and clean the only thing I thought was a little cheeky was charging £.50 euros a day for a sunbed. We always managed to get a good spot but I cant imagine in season it would be a little hard so I would recommend going down early. Damian the entertainer made our holiday! Day entertainment was pool, darts and water polo which was fab to say that it was only April/May, night entertainment was mini disco, bingo, quiz and singers - think it amazing what they provide free of charge for you. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk on to the 'strip' where all the bars and restaurants are, if you walk on the beach front to the other side there are plenty more bars and restaurants. As we went end of April/ beginning of may it was juts right for us (busy wise) because I'm pregnant I didn't want anything too mad but we were told it does get quite lively in mid-season. I could not fault this hotel and I would highly recommend staying here for location, cleanliness, views and entertainment.More
