Like a throw back in time
We have just returned from a short stay at this hotel. The reception staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room though was a disgrace and like a throw back in time, with damage to walls, kitchen cupboards deteriorating, sockets were loose and overall just dirty. I would not be staying there againMore

We have just stayed here and the hotel was lovely! The pool area was great too especially for the kiddies as well as the kids area. Entertainment day and night if you want it We had a superior studio very modern only down side not enough draws or storage and i personally prefer more cleaning we only had a change if towels once and the sheets werent done during our stay. The reception staff were very professional and aircon was included in our stay We would deffinately return and stay here againMore
Just got back from spending a week here with my friend. We wanted a week of chill and relaxation, which we did. The hotel is in a good location, 15-20min walk into santa ponsa to the beach and where the main bars and restaurants are. Our room was very outdated, I was disappointed and did make a complaint to reception on arrival. We were sold a hotel that had been renovated not stuck in the 80s. However... when you think about it, how much time do you actually spend in the room?? Not much. The Air-con and fridge worked a treat which is all we needed. The pool area is lovely, we enjoyed being by the pool. The lifeguard doesn't put up with a nonsense eg music being played loudly, lilos, boisterous behaviour that sort of thing. I could imagine that in the hight of summer it would be ridiculously crowded. There's a supermarket across the road that's really good value and we liked a really nice coffee shop called Matcha for lunch. Sorry of this is long winded but it's just an honest review. More
Recently just come back from a week's stay at this hotel. Firstly when we got there the hotel looked posh and the reception staff were lovely and providing good information . The town was a good 10-15mins walk and had good restaurants and good gifts shops. The entertainment team were amazing always there providing good games and activities for all ages to do. The only downside of the hotel was that on Sunday morning we were woken up at 3.a.m due the the fire alarm going off we all evacuated the rooms but was not told what has gone on. More
First impressions can be deceptive........
On first impression, the hotel looks great. Crisp white lines, contemporary exterior and foyer, and well kept outside areas. However, if you are staying in room 305, you'll want to spend most of your time standing outside looking in........ POSITIVES Staff were fantastic; they were chatty and really approachable. Top marks. Pool area was very clean, lots of sunbeds and umbrellas. Food and drink was fairly reasonably priced Only a short walk towards good choice of bars and eating places, without having to go all the way down to main Santa Ponsa area which was full of drunken half wits. (A couple we spoke to on departure had nearly ended up with the wife getting a full force punch in the face from a missed target when a group of lads kicked off - not hotels fault of course - situated far from all that!). Fridge was really cold when turned to full - froze my wine and water in main fridge :-) NEGATIVES The room, the room, the room - We had read some reviews that said the hotel was being refurbed and some rooms were still to do, and that these were "dated". Dated I can handle for 4 nights, this wasn't dated. There was water damage on low wall corners, there was stains all over the walls, and I've had more privacy sleeping in a tent. A couple arrived next door to us and I could just about smell their breath never mind hear the conversation. Really was quite incredible. The fixtures and fittings are ready for tossing over the balcony into the building skip across the road, they are that good. And as for the bed; I can sleep anywhere - floors, sofas, edge of a razor (you get the idea), but the bed was SO uncomfortable, and the pillows smelled. Not nice. Air con? No. The description said there was central Air Con which would be turned on at certain times. Even if there was, and even if they did, where was it going to come out? There was no vent in the room :-/ Therefore, patio door had to be left open all night which to be fair meant we could be serenaded by the young team heading from the pubs later on. The room also had an adjoining door which was held shut by the fridge in front of it, which we didn't realise wasn't locked until the night before leaving. The dining table was very marked, and the chairs incredibly heavy. So heavy in fact that every time you moved them they rumbled across the floor. Which is another noise you hear all night every night from surrounding rooms. We might return to the area at some point as it was great for a few days, but until the hotel sorts its older rooms, we wouldn't consider going back.More
