Sea views don’t come much better than at this clifftop hotel – and the infinity pool is a great place to enjoy them.
Sea views come as standard at this clifftop hotel, and there’s a courtesy bus to the beach if you don’t fancy the 20-minute walk. There are some shops, bars and restaurants a little nearer as well.
The hotel has two main pools, one of which is an infinity number. On top of the buffet restaurant, there’s a poolside place with two themed options on offer – both venues have great sunset views. And it's getting a fresh lick of paint for August 2017, so everything will look box fresh.

Hotel on the hill
Stayed for a week in this hotel.just got back.first the good points.staff were excellent and very pleasant. Food was excellent lots of variety. Breakfast great could eat outside top bar. entertainment team worked very hard to please.free Wifi and free fridge and safe.drinks good and got served quickly. Rooms very clean....just a few minor points that I didn't like were I know it sounds petty but the towels in the room are small and like sandpaper. Like a big soft towel after shower.was on lower floor and swimming pool miles away on floor 9.tried walking up first day and was shattered by time got to top.and entertainment at night was animation team miming to songs.should have more acts on.besides that would go back if price was right but reckon it will go up after refurbishment so probably not.More
4* All Inclusive - does what it says on the tin
We have stayed here as a family at this hotel 8 times or more over the years, now that we are grandparents we are starting again (last December) - service is excellent for AI, the hotel rooms and public areas are spotless, location is amazing, (don't complain about the hill - its on the internet and in the brochures so no surprises), for those customers complaining about this that and the other, I assure you this is an excellent 4* AI which I would highly recommend if you want more book a Riu Palace Hotel which are also excellent - it gets a 4 not a 5 purely because it is a little tired now and have booked for December 2017 after the refurb, cant wait !More
First visit in this hotell was the first week in february this year. The first impression on arrival was good and it only got better during the stay. Located on the top of a Cliff between Puerto Rico and the Amadores Beach with sea wiew from all rooms. What we appreciated especially was the possibility to have breakfast and lunch at the top bar in the open air.. The staff was very helpfull and friendly, the food and the weather was good. this hotell can absolutely be recomended. The only little minus was one of the beds had a hard mattress.More
Great hotel, staff and location
Stayed for a week (last minute booking) - Wanted a last minute getaway so wasn't expecting much. Wish I had stayed longer the staff and hotel was excellent. The rooms are looking dated ow (90âs decor) but apparently they are modernising everything over the next few months (new kids club, pool, sports bar and rooms). Iâll check back how this turns out because I would definitely book again. Staff cleaned the room everyday, replacing towels. Walls are a bit thin, Iâm a light sleeper so didn't have the best night's sleep, loads of noise coming through from room 143 - either had the TV on all night really loud or was snoring (loudest snore I have ever heard!) and ran a bath at 5 every morning ;) . My partner and daughter wouldn't wake for an earthquake so they found sleeping ok. Entertainment was good, plenty to do during the day if you like that kind of thing (shooting, footballâ¦) also water aerobics in the morning which were always busy. Evening was the standard show, magician or singer, the animation team put on some good shows. They could've done with a kids disco a little later (after first sitting of tea maybe) - the one we went to at 5 was always empty if even on! My 3YO daughter loved the animation team (especially Mie and Patricia) - Activities in Kids club were creative and always different. Although my daughter spent most of the time playing in the pool. Always friendly and chatty. Food was ok, plenty of choice. And they had a good range of drinks. I found it better to go later than the allocated time for meals (we had 6:30 so went down about 7:10) things had quietened down by then. Pool area was good, lower pool seemed to have more children - we went to the upper pool (says infinity⦠but itâs not) but couldn't be bothered with all the old bids looking disgruntled at a child having fun! Lower pool is much better for families, although someone did tell us to shhhhhh when playing in the pool! So we just made more noise ha⦠maybe even splashed them oops. Location of the hotel was close to the shopping centre (walkable in 5 mins). You could get a taxi down to puerto rico harbor for about 5 euros. We went down to amadores beach a couple of times, not too busy with lovely clear water. Bus down was regular enough, although super busy on early in the morning. Itâs a bit of a hard walk for a child down to the beach area from the hotel so we got a taxi down/back up on one of the days we missed the free bus (only a couple of euros) Did a day trip to Puerto de Mogan - really nice place for a walk about and some sites, spent the morning there (got the #1 bus there - cost 3.10 euros for all 3 of us, water taxi back 13 euros) back to the pool for the afternoon. I went on a couple of jogs during the holiday, down to amadores beach along the front to Puerto Rico harbor and back, works out around 8k⦠the hill (sorry, mountain!) back up to the hotel was a killer. Overall a good holiday, staff [bar, cleaners, reception and dining area] at the hotel were excellent and always super friendly - animation team was great. Would recommend it to any families thinking of going for some winter sun with their little ones.More
