Set in pretty gardens, the Dunas Suites And Villas Resort offers up a trio of pools and lots of activities. Plus, it’s just 15 minutes’ walk to the beach.
The Dunas Suites and Villas has the look of a traditional Gran Canarian village – thanks to the terracotta-tinted bungalows and huge gardens filled with fountains, mosaics and tropical plants.
Maspalomas’ three-kilometre-long beach, along with a selection of shops and bars, is a 15-minute stroll away. If you don’t fancy the walk, the hotel provides a complimentary bus to take you there and back.

Great hotel shame about the food and the entertanment
The hotel - communal areas and gardens are immaculate and lovely. The rooms are very clean and the décor is good. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds ever. There are plenty of pools to choose from some noisy with music and some quiet but they are all quite deep children cant stand up in the pools so they cant stand and play they have to be swimming all the time unless they go in the very small baby pools. The food is not great its a poor choice, repetitive and at times inedible. The bacon in a morning is just pure fat. In a morning if you don't have the coffee they provide then they take away all your cups, so if you want a drink from the machine you have to spend ages finding a cut. They have these hessian type mats on each table and rarely clean them in between changes of guests. The waiters either never clear your table or they are trying to take your plate while you are eating. The entertainment was quite honestly the worst we have ever experienced on holiday ever even the people they brought in from outside were poor. Its a shame because the hotel is lovely and it was thoroughly spoiled by the food and entertainmentMore
Lovely holiday in lovely place. Friendly staff nice rooms and good food. What more could you want. Will definitely return. Lighthouse area worth a look. Lovely complex with well maintained gardens and plenty of space for kids to play. More
Definitely the best holiday resort we have ever stayed at. The staff were so lovely and very helpful at all times. The entertainment team made the holiday even better for us, we became more like friends. This resort is perfect for families as well as couples of all ages. Would 100% return tomorrow!More
My 5th time at this great resort. Consistently good all round. Superb suites are really very big compared to some hotels. Cleaned daily by friendly staff. It's nice to be recognised by staff on arrival with a little offering in my room such as a bowl of fruit or a bottle pf bubbly. Makes all the difference. Plenty to do with a very hard working animation team, yet so quiet at night. Fab for families of all ages. Food always excellent with a great selection for all tastes. Of course some would disagree but to them I say, pay for a 5 star if you want perfection. This resort is reasonably priced for what you get. I joined the loyalty card scheme and now receive great discounts on rooms etc. It also works ot cheaper than some of the online travel agents who advertise a price then add 100s when you try to book. You know who they are. Always plenty of flights all year round from all UK airports. No point spending more than 4 hours on a plane when you can find sunshine all year round here. Needless to say the 6th visit is already in the pipeline.More
