The Seaside Grand Hotel Residencia is part of the prestigious Leading Hotels of the World collection. It’s set in tropical gardens, and has a state-of-the-art spa and a fine dining restaurant.
This hotel has been styled like a Mediterranean village, with rows of whitewashed, terracotta-roofed buildings. The grounds are really tropical – palm trees and potted plants decorate the pathways, and balconies are cloaked in bougainvillea.
This is the only hotel in Gran Canaria that belongs to the Leading Hotels of the World collection. It’s got a top spa, interiors dreamt up by French designer, Alberto Pinto, and a restaurant that made it into the 2016 Michelin Guide.

Mrs J Chandler
We spent a wonderful week at the Seaside Grand. The hotel was fabulous, one of the best we have stayed in. Stylish decor and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. Great food served in lovely surroundings. We couldn't find fault with anything 10 out of 10....we can't wait to return.More
The best Hotel of Spain and Europe.
We had 2 rooms with our friends - 8 nights (TUI). For us Grand Hotel Residencia is the best hotel in Europe, with fantastic areas, deluxe rooms and Lovely staff (Paula, Marline, Josse, Johanna ...). The pool is perfect for relaxation, the whole hotel is perfect and wonderful Food. In our opinion truly the best hotel in Spain and Europe. Just say one thing we didn't like, and that's a serious problem with the reception at Villa Edem. The German receptionist hasn't education always speaks with screams, and worst of all, she goes without shoes. Unfortunately, is a bad image for Grand Hotel Residencia If you think we exaggerate please take a look in the morning, shorts, no shoes, shouts and talks to providers and your bellboy in a provocative and unpleasant way. During dinner other guest of Hotel too spoke with us about the same situacion, The recepcionist told that she is de manager on villa edem, but these clients have some had photos and videos to load in holidaycheck and tripadvisor. Really she's very rude and impolite. Thank you very much for everything Dear Team, are the Best of Europe. See you again in January 2018, hoping we can talk to the manager directly about this problem. (with our proofs).More
It is a true paradise
La Residencia is our home since we came in 2004. We feel here as it was our home and it is a real paradise in Gran Canaria island. We would like to thank the hotel's team for their professionalism and for taking care of everything. Our big thank to Mrs Almudena, subdirector, who is a great person. And Victor, amazing person, Paco, great person, Jacobo, Marcos and the housekeeper, Miguel, Betty and Tamara, and all the stuff. Thanks for this wonderful holidays! See u very soon, Adrian and GerardMore
First Rate Hotel
It is hard to fault this hotel. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The restaurant and bar areas were both well presented and efficient. The standard of food was very high and consistently so. The rooms and facilities were excellent. The pool area was pleasant (sunbeds maybe a little close together if it was full but this didn't apply when we stayed) and the pool itself was very nice. So what's not to like? I liked the island of Gran Canaria from what I saw of it but Maspalomas itself is not an especially attractive resort although the Dunes closer to Playa del Ingles are spectacular. Put this hotel in somewhere more attractive and I would be a routine repeat guest. But that's just personal taste - I am sure it has many repeat guests regardless and those who love the area.More
Outstanding as always.
My third (I think) stay at this magnificent hotel. Secluded, classy and very elegant. No mobile phones in public areas, no piped music or vulgar entertainments. The food is exceptional. Not so keen on the twice weekly bbq's (though at one of them you could eat as much grilled lobster as you wanted!). I broke my ankle here (entirely my fault) and the staff were wonderful in looking after me. They could not have been more helpful.More
