Fabulous Hotel, great facilities
Just returned from a week's break to this lovely hotel. We were initially slightly disappointed with the room décor (room 639) as it seemed quite dated. I worried that the usual difference between UK & European star rating would mean that this wasn't really going to be be a 5 star. However we soon overcame this as we explored the fabulous garden, pools, Spa, Gym, Tennis court as well as the local area. We booked on a half board basis & I can honestly say I have never eaten so well on holiday. Breakfast was outstanding - both choice & quality was excellent. We ate out most days for lunch but there is a good menu in the pool bar/ coffee area as well as the main restaurant, with prices about the same as the UK. Evening meal was best for us on the BBQ nights as it was self service at the various food choices, all freshly made for you. Whether a meat eater or vegetarian, there will be something you'll love. On the set menu nights, service was a bit slower between the 4/5 courses, but it was a small thing really when you enjoyed the quality of food so much. Deserts & cheese selection were 5 star awesome!! The service throughout the hotel was always very attentive, professional but not intrusive. It was my birthday while we were there & I had the best surprise with complimentary little cake & wine served to the room - such a great moment of customer service. I used the onsite Spa & Hairdressers & had fab experiences in both. I only have one negative - no iron in the room & none available from reception as it was a 'security risk'. Think she meant H&S, however I could use the hotel laundry service, but at about 3 to 4 euro per item, that's a bit much in my opinion. I don't usually go back to a hotel, preferring to try new places, but I would definitely return to Palm Beach. I can also recommend it for solo travellers, I would feel comfortable staying here on my own. It's a calm & quiet hotel, with mature mostly German guests. If you're looking for nightlife, this isn't really your bag. A short walk along the beach promenade to the shopping centre, with supermarkets, designer & cheaper quality but not so cheap prices clothing shops and a good selection of cafes and restaurants.More

Great hotel - excellent break
I would definitely recommend Seaside Palm Beach - what a fabulous resort. Excellent rooms with comfy beds, we had a lovely view on the 6th floor and was accommodated at request for adjoining rooms with my elderly parents who had a huge corner room. The breakfasts were amazing and spoiled for choice. Evening meals left us 'plain' eaters a bit panicky on some of the nights but the staff were very professional and our requests for simple food were met - thank you very much. Buffet evenings were excellent. Pools were lovely - really enjoyed the water aerobics each lunchtime with an excellent teacher with a great sense of humour. Only small regret was I mentioned upon arrival that it was my father's 83rd birthday and if it gets noticed. I was told they could do something at breakfast but unfortunately due to their medical conditions they are not particularly early risers so were unable to help as breakfast tables couldn't be reserved at such a late time, which is understandable, but was told a little gesture would be sent to their room, but was not. The hotel is perfectly situated, staff excellent and always courteous, attention to detail and cleanliness is second to none. Even though the loungers looked as though they were occupied, as soon as you asked the poolside attendant he would know which were available and readily laid fresh towels. Thank you once again.More
Well run hotel but not relaxing for smokers
Very well organised hotel with attention to detail everywhere. The room was pleasantly furnished with bright colours and a small balcony. The grounds are very nice with a lovely smallish pool with many built in features to enhance fitness and well being. The food for both breakfast and dinner was very good especially on the buffet days with so much choice of good food. Unfortunately my holiday was ruined due to the fact that when I asked for an ashtray for balcony I was told it was against the law to smoke on balcony, in actual fact that is not the law, it was the hotel its self that did not want it. We were over the cooking area and the smell of cooking was much stronger than a few puffs of smoke. I realised the next day that many quests were smokers so I decided to ask what they thought about the no smoking on balcony, 6 out of 10 were not aware they could not, in spite of no ashtray, smoke on balcony and those that did smoked anyway. Many people of a morning were walking around in their bathrobes so I put mine on and sat up on a terrace away from breakfast eaters. Having sat down feeling extremely conspicuous, I lit up and was going to order just a coffee immediately I was being told I could not sit there in my bathrobe, I explained I did not want my breakfast just a coffee and a cigarette. I had to leave feeling so embarrassed. Naturally I would not return to this hotel due to the pettiness of the smoking. I travel away somewhere every 3 months to relax and never encountered this pettiness in any hotel before. The staff were excellent.More
Have just returned from our annual spring holiday at this great hotel and have been well satisfied as in previous years.
It was nice to return for our annual spring holiday at this great hotel. We were welcomed back by staff we knew from the doorman to the maitre d' . We met many returning guests from previous years who like us, enjoy the whole experience of the hotel - a great location, comfortable rooms, great facilities and a top class restaurant.More
Fabulous winter break in excellent hotel
I would recommend this lovely hotel in wonderful resort. Large comfy rooms, fantastic breakfasts , very close to beach and amazing dunes . There are lots of stylish restaurants within easy walking distance . We didn't eat dinner in the hotel but it looked good. Lovely pools and spa. Fantastic helpful friendly staff. Special mention to Dinah who went out of her way to help when we misplaced a phone .More
