This retro-chic hotel has two heated pools set in lush gardens. There’s a long sandy beach on the doorstep, too.
The first thing you notice when you step inside this hotel is its striking décor. It was created by the prestigious Paris architect, Alberto Pinto, and is the epitome of retro-chic.
The hotel has two heated outdoor pools, as well as three restaurants and a poolside snack bar. It’s just 3 minutes’ walk from a sandy beach, and less than a 10-minute taxi ride from Playa del Ingles.

We have recently returned from another wonderful holiday at this hotel. We were delighted to experience again the first class service from the moment we arrived. The rooms are lovely and bright, the food is superb , the African bar is a lovely place to enjoy a drink or lunch , eating outside in the restaurant was lovely and tables were always available, the pool very clean and perfect temperature and the hotel and grounds very clean and well presented. Every member of staff greeted us in a friendly but always professional manner . Unfortunately during our stay my husband had an accident whilst we were out walking in Maspalomas which required hospital attention and the warmth and support shown by staff in the hotel made such a difference to us both . We would like to say a special thank you to Nicole, Lelianne, Elise,Isaac,Raul and Fayna for their kind words and attention during our stay . The emergency services in Maspalomas were first class as were the medical services and taxi services. Despite the unfortunate accident we had an excellent holiday and can't wait to return to Gran Canaria and the Seaside Palm Beach in particular . Thank you . Gill and Stuart KIME. More
Palm Beach Hotel
Terrific hotel where the service is exceptional and as a consequence this sets it apart from other hotels. The staff cannot do enough for you nothing is a bother I could mention a host of names like in the restaurant Vega and Raul with the management of Elisa,Lorraine and Isaac and at main reception Timor, Mercedes and Ramon and not to forget at poolside Juan and his team who delivered mattresses and towels for your sunbed and arranged the parasol but there is no doubt the staff follow the direction of Nicole the hotel manager who is always available and sets the standard. Last year I suffered a a stroke and at present my mobility is impaired and this TLC demonstrated in the staff service was invaluable. You pay more in this hotel but in my opinion you get what you pay for. On arrival we upgraded to the seventh floor and whilst the rooms on each floor are much the same it is the view at the higher level that is worth the extra cost. The hotel is a building of the 70’s and I guess if I had a criticism then it would be to say the bathroom is quite small. The food is very good and the sweet trolley is to die for albeit that on returning home you will then need to diet. Reception organised the hire of a wheelchair and this was of great assistance for myself and my husband. I am sure we will return to this hotel later in the year.More
Unreceptive to feedback
This hotel has many good points and nice touches. The general staff are excellent. However, the management appears to be unversed in the technique of receiving and acknowledging feedback. Instead of acknowledging feedback and indicating they will take that feedback away to analyse and consider, they instead try every effort to prove they are right and the customer is wrong. They constantly quote their 5 star status, however, this is a measurement of feature, not quality of service. If a management team is too stubborn to receive feedback, they will also be too stubborn to innovate. Feedback should be treated as a valued commodity and not as some kind of lack of compliance. Large corporations spend millions on gaining customer feedback and gauging the satisfaction levels of their customers, so why when a person goes to the effort of personally feeding back is it treated with such disdain ? On this forum, they often state "if you had fed back at the time, we could have dealt with it". Well I tried doing that and have been made to feel like some kind of outcast. As a customer, If you want a good experience here you have to be prepared to massage the management team's ego. More
best hotel i have ever been at
food is unbelievably good,, service excellent, clean, quiet, air conditioning perfect. I am not elderly,56 lol, but the hotel was packed with a very aged cliental. this suits me on holiday as it is very peaceful and pool is fairly empty for me to swim. highly recommended. DEFINITELY NOT FOR 18-30. Bathroom is small but I am just being picky, it is more than adequate. MASPALOMAS is a fairly modern upmarket resort but not very big . plenty places to visit on the bus which is fairly cheap. plenty of buses good luck using the app or trying to figure out stops or routes. Of course you know the world famous song by The Eagles, Hotel California. Well the song could apply on this hotel in Maspalomas. I, like many other customers keep coming back to this superb hotel and get spoiled by the staff. On your first visit, you're a customer. The second time you're a friend and from your third time on, you're part of their big family of happy customers. So, as The Eagles sing: you can checkout any time you want, but you can never leave! It's by far the best place to stay when on Gran Canaria! I've been there for eight times now and it has become my second home.More
