Extended Family Holiday
As expected for an 4 star hotel, very clean, friendly efficient staff, good location, excellent pool area, poor facilities for children, limited nightly entertainment. Possible areas the hotel could improve on; provide FREE secure WI-FI hotel wide, review the sunbed reservation procedure, in theory and excellent idea, in practice, it needs better supervision, as some tagged sunbeds were not used and could have been reallocated to guests who were in less prominent areas. The hotel policy of long trousers in the restaurant needs clarification, the check in desk advised long trousers was mandatary, but in the restaurant, we were advised the policy had been relaxed due to the time of year. Air conditioning was poor within the rooms and needs upgrading or/and better maintenance.More
Relaxing stay, good resort location
IFA Faro Hotel ticked all the boxes regarding location comfort and food for our summer holiday. Staff very friendly and particularly liked the fact that had sunbeds reserved for the week. No getting up early to claim with a towel! Minor point that not much outside seating and smoking allowed that also drifted into inside tables. Overall a very good hotel but beware men need to pack long trousers for dinner which seems ridiculous for a buffet style restaurant in a beach holiday hotel and could put you off staying.More
Couldn't wish for better .......
Just returned from a week here with my teenage daughter - wish we'd booked for longer. Beautiful location; lovely hotel; clean; great food and the staff are just lovely. Great idea to allocate sunbeds - yes they were quite close together, but hey that's fine - everyone seemed to just get on with their sunbathing. The waiters/waitresses couldn't be more accommodating and all staff very friendly and helpful. Came back to England on Monday and miss it already. Wouldn't book through Thomson again though - felt we didn't get any help from them at the resort, but would definitely return to this hotel. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.More

Ifa Faro Gran Canaria.
We couldn't recommend this hotel any higher. The staff and management are superb and attentive at all times. The location is spectacular. Just superb. Wifi isn't particularly great but to be honest everything else is about as good as it gets. More
Stayed here for a week, enjoyed every thing apart from the pool area which is a shambles, you are allocated sunbeds on arrival and that is where you stay whether you like it or not, you could be stuck under a tree and not sre the sun all day, we refused ours and never went around the pool our entire stay, the beds are almost touching each other, no privicy at all. Cannot critisise any other part of the hotel, staff lovely, food very good, rooms clean and tidy.More
