This palatial hotel puts you right by the beach. It also comes with four massive pools and lots of fantastic places to eat.
This place is more like a big palace than a hotel. Four huge pools wind their way through the gardens, where you’ll also find four poolside snack bars and four tennis courts. The grounds lead right onto a sandy beach.
The hotel has a big choice of restaurants, with the star turn being the gourmet place. There’s regular live entertainment, too, while pampering comes courtesy of the luxury spa.

Good Quality hotel at a reasonable price
We have just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. On the whole it was a very good stay, couldn't find fault with any of the facilities. We had booked 2 rooms on a half board basis directly with the hotel and when we arrived we were given the option of a grand suite with a sea view, they allowed us to view the room first before we decided and it worked out really well. A very spacious main pool, where they do not permit any lidos or such floatation devices, I think its a good idea as people have the option to use them in the lazy river or in the children's area if you like, however I did notice that this annoyed some people! Another quirky rule they have is you are not allowed to put towels and reserve your sun loungers pre 10am, again I thought this was great but this didn't suit everyone. The food in the buffet was of a good standard but I would say they could do with a little more staff as for each of the nights we were there, the few staff members that were working were literally running from table to table with drinks orders, sweat on their brow and apologising for the delays. but to be fair to ALL the staff were excellent and very friendly. The only thing that I could find fault with, if you could call it a fault, was they charged €12 a day for parking in the hotel, a bit steep if you ask me!! Other than that we had a good stay. great location close to the beach and shopping areas of Costa Meloneras.More
It was our 2 visit to this hotel, we loved it so much the first time we had to come back. We were upgraded to a junior suite and it was lovely. It had a living room with a separate bedroom, which was great. The pools were fab, we loved going round the lagoon and playing in the baby pool. You have to get up quite early of you want a sunbed otherwise it can be quite a struggle. The area around the hotel was brilliant with lots of different restaurants around. I would recommend Maximillions on the corner near the lighthouse, the tiramisu was lovely. Overall I can't wait to come back to this hotel, I would recommend to anyone! Staff were friendly, the place a well maintained and is very clean. Perfect! Thank you for a wonderful holiday! More

Fantastic hotel and situation
We had a weekend break here and although the hotel is huge and I believe was more or less full, you never felt 'overcrowded'. There are lots of 'quiet corners/pools where you can totally relax. I can see the hotel from my kitchen window -but wouldn't hesitate in booking again and have always recommended it to friends and family from the UK!More
New 'Activity' for Guests?
The holiday activity of 'hunting for a sunbed' can be annoying and does continue at the Lopesan at peak times. Unfortunately, a new and very frustrating activity has now been added to their considerable entertainment programme. Imagine this scenario- two sets of guests quickening their pace/running to achieve the prize of a table and chairs where they can enjoy a drink and the shows on offer. Some families resorted to reserving an area earlier in the evening and having their dinner in relays in order to keep their place! For some inexplicable reason the number of chairs and tables has diminished greatly this year and many of them are missing cushions- neither comfortable nor acceptable. (Come on, Lopesan, we expect more from you.) The hotel is missing out on retaining many guests in the evenings as a result of this and losing revenue from these people. Apart from this irritation the hotel continues to provide an amazing holiday experience in super surroundings. Yes, bedrooms still are in need of updating but everything else on offer more than compensates for this. The food had improved from our holiday last October and the animation team continue to be amazing, providing a very varied programme. Evening entertainment is, on the whole, very good. Staff are friendly and attentive. Like many others we have been to the Lopesan for many years now and will return again next summer. Thanking everyone for another super holiday!More
A beautiful place
The hotel is impressive in every way. The architecture, the interior decor and most of all the incredible gardens and magnificent pools. The experience is every bit as good as a top quality Florida or Caribbean resort. The staff are friendly and helpful and the resort itself is top class with a good choice of quality shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended it and we will be back.More
