We stayed here last week with 2 young children, we was a party of 4 adults and 2 children in two rooms. The hotel it's self is nice, although we did have dirty looking walls and hard beds which was hard to sleep on and ants all over the bathroom. We knew that there wouldn't be air con but we had to pay 30 euros to use a fan! Which seemed crazy to us! And even when we had paid that, it still wasn't a great fan at all. Our room was a good size though which was good, plenty of space and a walk in wardrobe area which was nice to put all your stuff. By the pool there wasn't much shade at all, and people would put their towels on the sun beds very early and so you were lucky if you got somewhere with shade. Which is vital with very young children. The pools were very nice, was good to have a choice of 3 so everyone was spread out. A few more parasols type shade would of been perfect! The location was its downfall for us because it was so hot, to go anywhere you had to go down a big hill which you then had to come all the way back up in the heat which is no fun with a heavy pushchair and being pregnant. So we tended to stay on the hotel grounds which did get a bit boring by the end of the holiday. The food wasn't bad ( it was all nice food ) except it was very repetitive every day. It became very hard to keep the kids happy food wise when the choices were the same each day. The entertainment was quite good, can't fault it. Seemed to offer a lot of day and evening entertainment which is a bonus. And music by the pool which is nice. We had a late flight so had to check out at 12 noon and had no room to use until a curtesy room was available in which we had 30 minutes to get all of us showered and dressed which was a bit stressful. Overall it isn't a bad place, just a few tweaks and it could be great. Although we wouldn't come back even though it's a fairly nice place. More
We have just returned from a 9 night stay at the Ifa interclub. From start to finish our stay was wonderful. The hotel is really big and the grounds and garden are kept spotless by the staff who are constantly working. The food was very good, had something for everyone and the kids never had a problem finding something to eat.You could happily stay in this hotel for your whole holiday and never set foot outside.Everything you could possibly need is available. The kids loved the pool scene especially the slides but they need to be able to swim as it is a little deep for small children. The staff at reception are excellent and always available to help with everything from booking taxis to advice on buses and places to visit. They even provided a courtesy room for us to get ready for the airport as we had an evening flight home. Special thanks to the young man on reception who allowed us to use the computer to check in and print our boarding passes. As other people have mentioned the lack of air con in the rooms may be a problem in the height of summer but it was managable in early june. This would not put me off returning as everything else was perfect.More
The rooms were excellent, I little dated, but hot showers, comfy beds and cleaned every day if you wanted. The food and drink was great, lots of choice and some of it very tasty. The pools were excellent but a little dirty but cannot be helped. Free wifi in the bar area and lots of sun beds. The most impressive part was the staff. They were all continually working and doing an excellent soon. They never stopped! Food was cleared instantly by the polite sweepers. Juan the bar man was fantastic, you never had to wait long for a drink. And the animation team were on it from 9am till 10pm! They did lots of activities and the shows were great. You get given 'rules' at the start of trip I.e only wear trousers in the dinner hall and no reserving sun beds but non of these rules are implemented and you have to get up early for a good sunned spot.More

This is a late review as I went here for my 25th Wedding Anniversary in May... However I just wanted to let everyone know that this hotel is very friendly and very clean.. not the best but definitely not the worst. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Our view was sea and mountains. The balcony was ample for us 2 could seat more. The food was a little repetitive but very good and tasty. A microwave was available for warming, My only gripe is stupid people thinking its ok to wear wet swimming costumes in the dining area use the pool bar or get changed. The pools are great and actually not that cold. My husband never swims in the pools because they are too cold.. This time with the slides and warm water I couldn't get him out. Just outside the hotel is a taxi rank with prices, bike hire and car hire, bus stop and a short walk to the beach via steps. This hotel is in a suitable area if you like to walk, we walked to Playa del Ingles frequently but we also got a taxi to Maspalomas and walked back. I would say it caters for everyone. Loved it and I'm looking at prices for September.More

Just so you know, there are restrictions for the waterslides here. Little ones must be a minimum of 1.20m in height and be able to swim.
