Tucked between two sandy beaches, this grand hotel comes with a designer pool and a first-class dining scene.
This deluxe hotel stands proud in the middle of tropical gardens designed by Lanzarote’s famous son, César Manrique. He designed the lagoon pool, too. You’ll find it right by one of the two beaches on the hotel’s doorstep.
The three stylish restaurants include two that are dedicated to fine dining. There’s plenty to do, too, from spa treatments to sports like tennis and windsurfing. After dinner, head to the bar for cocktails and live shows.

Peaceful and Idylic
We normally stay at Princessa Yaiza at the other end of the Island. We needed to stay at Costa Teguise area and were worried that the area was much more developed. We were recommended the Selina Melinas as the oldest 5 star hotel on the Island designed by the famous local Artist Cesar . It is Adults only and if you are travelling without children , wow how peaceful that makes it. There is a peace and serenity about the place. The vegetation in the lovely Atrium is well established. Yes the place is not pristine ( well it's been around a while) but I have not marked it down as it is all so clean. The rooms are wonderful with balconies and real sea views( not a postage stamp view) the whole balcony has a full sea view. The villa area is closed for renovation so we were worried but fear not it has no impact at all. Staff friendly and helpful( apart from normal language problem) . The buffet restaurant is fantastic with lovely outside terrace. The speciality restaurant is excellent. No need to go out even with just 2 restaurants. Lunch poolside grill and salad bar is great. Nice spa with good therapists and range of treatments. Pool area and beach area are both beautiful. Overall an excellent place to stayMore
The Melia Salinas hotel was fantastic , from the moment you arrive at check in till the moment you depart nothing was to much trouble. The staff were just great , so attentive and the place was immaculate , The food was to die for , the pool was salt water and felt great and refreshing to swim in . all in all a totally relaxing 2 week holiday. If I was to have one complaint that would be all inclusive should be all inclusive and not 2 different menus to choose from.More

Myself and my wife arrived here on the 17th of march for my 50th birthday so we had treated our selves to a junior suite, On arrival we pleasantly surprised to find we had been up graded to a grand suite We were also taken to the VIP check in which was very nice to be made to feel special. The staff there are excellent friendly and helpful. But they didn't tell us that the hotel was having a refit and there would be quite a lot of noise also working above our room on the last few days, We had level passes which allowed us to access the private pool and bar area not only is this area lovely its all-inclusive for drinks and snacks which was great because we were half board in the hotel there! Food there is ok but nothing special I do wish at breakfast they had proper British bacon and sausage especially that you can buy it in the bar restaurant out side so readily. Our room a grand suite was lovely but starting to age we couldn't turn the lights off in the Bath room for two nights this wouldn't normally be a problem but it's had glass door to the bed room so the light kept up a wake we also had to ask twice for it to be fixed! Main pool is excellent and spacious sadly none of the pools are heated which is a shame because hardly anyone swims in them for being to cold! Hotel is in a great spot for beach bars and restaurants. Overall we did like the hotel but it is in need of some updating which was going on in the rooms and certain areas but it's not what I call 5star maybe soon sorry. More
We had a very enjoyable week at the Melia Salinas Hotel. Excellent in many ways, staff (Rene particularly), newly refurbished room, food and drinks (we booked all inclusive), evening entertainment and some of the day activities around the pool! Pool and local beaches are extremely good too. Plenty of beds around the pool. Bed was comfy, shower very good. Some refurbishment work going on but our room was excellent so it's worth the minor disruptionððMore
