As well as a pair of pools and a waterpark, this place has a top location – the beach is a couple of minutes’ walk away and a 5-minute taxi ride will land you in the centre of town.
The Lanzasur Splash Resort is in a great spot, just a 5-minute walk from Playa Flamingo Beach. But location isn’t the only draw – this place also has a waterpark within its grounds.
Bungalows here come in interconnected pairs – they're in neutral tones and have a minimalist feel to them.

Better than expected
We stayed from 13-27/9/16. Upon arrival, we were expecting 2 rooms as we are a family of 5, this is what was booked through our travel operator. Instead, we were given, what we were told, the VIP bungalow (923). Situated right next to the AquaLava Waterpark, furthest from the pool and reception. Having a 3 year old to contend with, this was a slight inconvenience but we were advised if we would like the 2 bungalows, it would most likely be opposite ends of the complex. Safe to say we stuck where we were. We had a 2 bedroom bungalow with a camp bed in the living room which was adequate enough for purpose. As we arrived at 2230, the restaurant provided us with a light meal consisting of a continental breakfast. Warm food would have been preferred, however, after almost 15 hours of travelling, food was food! We arrived for breakfast the following morning and was greeted at the door by a very well presented young lady with a smile and a cheery ''hola! buenos dias''. A small token, but made us feel more comfortable nonetheless. What a choice was laid out before us. Meats, cheeses and various bread from all over the world. Hot food consisted of the usual fried ham, sausages, various eggs and hash browns. For the morning meal, chef cooked up fresh omelettes, crepes, and on occasion, a ''special crepe'' for the children. Pool time!! Plenty of sun loungers up to around midday, but by then we had made plans as to have a pool day or not so if they were gone they were gone. The pools themselves were plenty big, and deep enough at 1.65 and 1.7m, for adults and children alike. A seperate 0.45m splash pool for the younger children is also available. The Animation team really made our holiday. I believe led by Marley, Roman, Jessica, Jorgi, Veronica, Ivan, Pedro and Tena were fantastic. Working from 1000 till 22-2300 most nights with a break 1300-1500 in between, they always had copious amounts of energy and I was tired watching them at times. A massive thank you to all of you and apologies if I missed anyone off. Lunch and evening meal had a wide choice of hot and cold foods. Plenty of salad choices and Chef's live cooking station always had something different for evening meal. Lunch was usually pizzas, but a variety of toppings were available. Evenings kicked off with the winners of the days games with the animation team, followed by the mini disco. My 3 year old still runs round shouting ''Uno! Dos! Tres! DJJJJ Musikaaaaaa!!!!!'' at the top of his voice, then singing and dancing his energy away. We had to buy the CD :) Following the mini disco, a range of live acts or games were organised. From parrot and reptile shows, to Mr Lanzasur. Once again, the animation team made this as enjoyable as possible. Nothing really is too much for them. The bar staff, Maximo, Jan, Rachid, and my friend Bas. . . Again, a fantastic team, always happy, helpful and nothing an issue. Maximo makes a mean mojito, and Bas and Jan are rum fanta gods!! The waterpark for us was not the best we have been to. Saying that, all of us had a great time whizzing down the slides and playing in the wave pool waiting for the bucket to spill over. Overall, Lanzasur is a very well staffed, well presented and very well situated bungalow complex. Would I go again? Absolutey!!More
I booked this hotel a while ago and got it at a bargain price, after booking it I started to read the reviews on the hotel, I can honestly say I went with an open mind as were quite a laid back family and just kept reminding myself what I had paid for 2 adults and 2 kids. After booking my disabled mum agreed that the hotel looked "flat" enough to manage in her mobility scooter, so she paid to come on her own but I emailed the hotel explaining the situation and I didn't want her on her own, the hotel staff was excellent and they put us in a big family room so we could all be together so just a quick thankyou from my mum for organising that. The lobby area as we walked in was very pretty and we soon got checked in and on to our room. I've read in other reviews that the staff was rude? This I don't understand as everyone I spoke to/smiled too was very friendly and helpful, maybe the moto is if your nice there nice?!! I've 2 boys aged 10 and 7, they loved the kids club, honestly the best kids club we've ever experienced, very friendly and great with the kids, my 2 love to get involved so it was great, big thankyou to Roman and the team. We went up to the waterpark for an hour a couple times but my two was more than happy round the pool and kids club but it was great to break the day up abit, again staff was very helpful, my 7 year old is a touch on the short side but confident in the water so after a "swim test" he was allowed on a couple of the big slides. Didn't pay for aircon, one of the setbacks for me, it was in the room so why not have it as standard? Couldn't justify 120 euro (mums room too) so we just went without but some nights it was nearly unbearable. Right onto the food....breakfast was fine, can't really go wrong with an omelette and hash browns and again you could always find something for dinner, tea was a tad disappointing but again I reminded myself this is a 3* hotel with a 3* budget and when you think about the 100's they have to feed I think they actually cater quite well, so with this is mind we took a few euros and ate out 4 times, there's some lovely restaurants and bars just a short walk. We're not really a mini disco kind of family so every night we had a little walk out to have a drink and a game of pool, "mr snoopys" was great for this, if you have a walk right round the front "Molly's" do a fab lasagne, it's our 2nd time in playa blanca and it's beautiful. Reading some of the other reviews I read that it could be untidy with cups etc? Let's face it if people tided up after themselves then cups wouldn't be able to fly around the resort....I know your on holiday but just saying...it's not hard to put things in the bin, especially on a windy island like Lanzarote. I got up most mornings for a run and there was hardly any towels out and there was plenty of sunbeds left in the day but I think in the school holidays that would be different. So all in all we had a lovely family holiday and would definitely return again so thankyou lanzasur for making our holiday so great. P.s Freddie and Alfie say a big thankyou to Roman, he really was fab ðð. More
A welcoming resort with lovely staff.
After reading some truly awful reviews I was very nervous about our break here but we were pleasantly surprised. After arriving at 9pm we were given our keys and went for something to eat in the restaurant. The food was tasty, lots of options available throughout our two week break. The serving staff were all friendly and helpful. Our bungalow had one bedroom and two camp beds made out for the kids in the sitting room, which was adequate for our needs. The bungalow appeared clean and even though it was an all inclusive resort was equipped with a microwave, cooking facilities and sink. The only negative I have to say about the bungalow is that it's a shame when paying all inclusive that air conditioning isn't included in cost along with lots of extras you have to pay for. The aqua park was a bonus to our holiday and speaking to a family staying at a close resort we really appreciated what good value for money this element of the park was. The food here was always lovely and anything extra you wanted to buy was at a discounted rate. The pools were clean, bathrooms cleaned regularly. Lifeguards were always on the look out very good at there jobs. The hotel was well maintained however the bathrooms in the main lobby and pool bar need a deep clean and need to be updated. This was really something that let the hotel down. The thing that made our stay extra special was the animation team. They worked tirelessly, long hours every day, giving full enthusiasm in everything they did. Special mention to Romain, Marley, Veronica, Ivan, Pedro and Jorgi. But or biggest thanks goes to Jessica and Tena who truly made our holiday magical, the children loved them, we loved them, these two ladies are so very special and amazing at what they do! One last thing that needs to be considered is the smoking policy, as non smokers and a child who has childhood cancer, we were concerned there was no where to sit for non smokers. We had many occasions where we sat at the mini disco or by the pool and smoke was blown over us. Thanks to everyone who made this break so very special for us, precious memories made!More
Brilliant for families
So after reading some very contrasting reviews on here concerning the Lanzasaur Club hotel I decided to go with an open mind. The service we received was fantastic! We had around a 45 minute transfer from the airport and when we arrived check in was relatively painless, there was a limited cold buffet which my partner, her 4 year old and 84 year old grandma enjoyed. The accommodation was brilliant, we were right next to the Aqua Lava water park and only a minute from the hotel pools and no more than 5 minutes from the Playa Flamingo beach. The air conditioning was a godsend and the bungalow was clean and well kept. The food which consisted of a help yourself buffet and was different every night, was what I was expecting, they had a couple of themed nights (Mexican, Spanish and Italian) which were great too. The waiting staff were great. The rep was helpful and informative.More
only problem is the food
We stayed between 15-22 sept it was our first family holidau and we were very excited, On arrival everything was fantastic super friendly guy on reception could not have been more helpful even giving us tips on things to do and places to visit. the bungalow was good plenty of room and the kids liked it. we were very surprised to find we had to pay 40 euros (!) for air conditioning plus a 20 euro deposit for the controller! and then this only did one bedroom in our bungalow, not good! The pools were lovely lots of variety and the aqua lava park was just brilliant for the kids. The biggest disappointment for us was the food, now i get that there are a lot of people there and 3 meals a day but we ended up eating out in the evenings and having lunch at the water park. The first night my son had the hotdogs from the kids buffet and was violently sick all night the following night my husband chose some beef that was just disgusting. at breakfast we just stuck to cereal. having paid for all inclusive not being able to eat the food was really frustrating and also meant we spent more money eating out. The issue of food really needs to be addressed.More
