As well as a pair of pools and a waterpark, this place has a top location – the beach is a couple of minutes’ walk away and a 5-minute taxi ride will land you in the centre of town.
The Lanzasur Splash Resort is in a great spot, just a 5-minute walk from Playa Flamingo Beach. But location isn’t the only draw – this place also has a waterpark within its grounds.
Bungalows here come in interconnected pairs – they're in neutral tones and have a minimalist feel to them.

Fantastic family holiday
Mum dad and two adult children traveled Nov 2016. Accommodation very basic no kettle in my room or bath tap to run a bath but had to stand in a bath to shower. Room needed painting and modernising and balconys only provide one sun lounger per room regardless of how many in room. That said we did not use the accommodation other than to sleep , maid service is excellent and coffee is available in reception at whatever time you are awake. Food almost too much choice we loved it. -all inclusive very good not stingy and constant flow of food throughout the day. Entertainment staff brilliant throughout the day , evening entertainment leaves a bit to be desired but we didn't have young children. Location I loved as it's a bit out the way of marina rubicon half hour walk maybe a lovely walk however I did regular and only 5 minute walk from hotel gate to beach. Overall a fantastic holiday just don't expect stunning accommodation everything else is bucket loads of. There are two large pools excluding the water park one is heated one is not both are good the larger colder pool for me was mainly used by adults and perfect if you like a swim even at dusk. I would recommend this hotelMore
First time in Spain
This was my first holiday in Spain and my first without my husband. My friend booked and made all the plans. I must say she made an excellent choice. A lovely small resort. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The nightly entertainment was of a very high standard. It had three pools. Which are a children's pool a heated one and the ice pool which was very cooled. The bungalows while being basic we're of a high standard and as we were all inclusive only used the kitchen area to make drinks. The food in the restaurant was of an excellent standard. And the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The staff at the pool bar were also amazing. The entertainment staff worked very hard all day to provide a variety of activities throughout the day to include the young and older holiday makers. The town of player Blanca was a good half hour walk along the the sea front but on a nice day a very pleasant walk. You could however catch the bus from around the corner I front of the flamingo hotel which was situated just behind the complex. The bus was 1.4 Euro. And took 10 mins. Get off at the manicipal building stop for the nearest stop to the town. You can however continue on to the rubicon market stop which is another 10 mins further on. All for the same price. There are a variety of shops restaurants etc in the town and well worth a visit. The market in rubicon is on a Wednesday and Saturday morning from 9-2 and also worth a visit. The towels and sheets are changed most days in the hotel with only a Friday and Wednesday no service. You can hire beach towels from reception I think they were 1 Euro weekly. But we took our own. There is a water park attached to the hotel and entry drinks and food are all included. The only think I can add is that there seemed to be an extra cost for basic things even though we were all inclusive. An extra door key was 10 Euro and the remote for the TV was with a deposit and the air con and safe were extra charges. We did get the deposit for the key and remote back. One negative is the wifi. Only one devise can be logged in and once the code has been used even if you log out no other device can be added and it's an expensive 25 euros a week for another device. This can be expensive and a bit of a problem if you have a couple of teenagers who both want the use of the wifi. Other than that it's an excellent place to visit and would highly recommend the hotel. I will most definitely be returning. More
Not so good for teens
Visited here for 11 nights with my partner and my 15yr old son, after reading some other reviews we went wit an open mind. The bungalows are fine and serve there purpose, ours was cleaned every day except for one! Unfortunately we found the pools far to cold to go into for any more than 20 minutes at a time, we were told when booking that the pools were heated in the winter however this is definitely not the case, to say they were freezing is an understatement. We only went to the water park once in the whole time we were there and the pools there were also freezing cold. Food: food was plentiful however my son and I often just ate rice and rolls at dinner time as the selection for us was not great, my partner managed to find something to eat each evening altho it was pretty much the same thing being pasta and tomato sauce. Dinner was pretty much what was offered at lunch time except wit a different sauce. Reception staff I found great, I asked for extra blankets as we found the nights rather cold and they were at our room before we were, unfortunately my son was very sick just two nights after we arrived this was at about 2:30am and when I went to reception and told them he was sick they handed me a 2lt bottle of water and told me to let them no if I needed them to take us to see a doctor or if there was anything else they could do for us, they made me feel at ease that if I had a problem I could get help. The animation team were fantastic, only downside for us was that my son being 15 couldn't always join in wit the activities, he was to old to join in wit the children's activities but then told he was to young to join in wit the adults activities.....after awhile the team did however let him join in wit a few more activities, this I think was more the fact that they were fed up of me saying it was unfair that he couldn't join in rather than anything else. The beach is within walking distance and is lovely as it has plenty of sunloungers available, the sea was actually some what hotter than the site pools which I felt was I shame as this really did let the place down. Evening entertainment was a big let down, great for anyone wit kids under the age of 11 but any older and like my son they would be very bored in the evening, even the adult entertainment which only lasted 1 hour maximum was finished by 10pm which ment that if like us you then had to entertain yourselves and a 15 year old for the rest of the evening, it seemed most people staying here went back to there bungalows as soon as the entertainment had finished which also made it difficult to interact with others. No I wouldn't stay here again but not because it was really awful but mainly because I didn't feel it was suitable for my family, it will be great for anyone with little children however if you have teenagers than I would look elsewhere for a place that will be happy to let teens join in.More
You get what you pay for all inclusive food average we found the food better at the waterpark need more drinks on the all inclusive entertainment at night average plenty of things to do in daytime for kids personal opition would not go againMore
