The Lanzasur Splash Resort is in a great spot, just a 5-minute walk from Playa Flamingo Beach. But location isn’t the only draw – this place also has a waterpark within its grounds.

Went here with my parents, my little boy, my brother and my nephew, my son is 6 and my nephew is 10, we had a great time, there was stuff going on all the time, the entertainment team were brilliant, the aqua park was also really good, it caters for all ages so there was plenty for the kids (and the adults) to do, we went there every day for a couple of hours, beach just across the road, very pretty, 15 minutes walk along the front and you are in Playa Blanca, loads of restaurants and for shopaholicks like my mum this was complete heaven, food on resort was lovely, loads of variety and the kids loved it too .. food was basically served all day and various points around the resort, they even served all-inclusive guests in the Aquapark, very clean, very tidy, overall it was great and I am thinking about going again next year, whoohoo xxMore
Great resort, happy kids, water park, kidsclub, wine on tap
We stayed in relaxia lanzasur from August 29th-sep5th. We are a family of four.two adults and two boys aged 5 and 7. I had read through a lot of reviews and was so worried i even visited my travel agent (falcon) and queried if I could change hotel if it was this bad. I am so glad now that we didn't change. It was fantastic. As soon as our bus pulled up at the resort from the airport our kids spotted the water park and were so excited. I had read reviews on having to pay for air con. I emailed ahead of our visit to ask for air con.i am not sure if they got the email on time as the first room we were being given had no air con available when i asked.we were still at reception and the guy checking us in was extremely helpful and checked us in to a different room with air conditioning in a matter of minutes. The air con was the best 40 quid we ever spent. It was like walking into a fridge after a hot day. So refreshing.I found the reception staff to always be smiling and helpful. It was my birthday during our stay and when i asked reception staff of somewhere nice outside the complex to go for dinner the girl was great and gave me directions to marina Rubicon where there are a nice few restaurants.we ate in Lani's steakhouse. The accommodation: the bungalows are perfect for families.really clean and modern. Nice little flat screen TV and two beds in the living area for our boys and a seperate bedroom for us.bathroom was spacious.big bath and toiletries too. Towels and beds changed and made at least 3 times in the week, possible 4! I thought it was lovely when they made our boys bed they always placed our boys favourite teddies back in their pillows nicely. We never used the safe in the room and their was no need. It is a very safe complex. Our bungalow was about a1 minute walk to reception, the restaraunt, and the pools. 5 minutes one direction you were at the beautiful beach and 5 mins the other way you were in the water park. Perfect.at night our boys usually went to bed by 10/11 and we would sit on the terrace having a drink or two that my husband could walk up and down to in 5 mins. The food: the food isn't top notch. It is all edible and sometimes delicious. It was my first all inclusive ever so i am not sure all inclusive dinners are for me. It was good and plenty of choice. Just not the same as sitting down and ordering off a menu. But there is something for everyone. We ate out twice.once for my birthday and once on our last night as we had met another family and wanted to go down the town for something different. Our kids were begging to go back to the buffet. They loved it. Twice they had chocolate fountain and my boys were in heaven.so was i actually. I had to bring them back to the bungalow after dinner to change their tops as they were a chocolate mess. It was great. In the mornings there is a chef making fresh pancakes with hot chocolate sauce and fresh omelettes. He was really nice to all the kids and even made my little boys a huge special pancake with chocolate and sprinkles inside and a flowers made out of chocolate sauce on top. He was delighted best breakfast he has ever eaten. The same area at lunch and dinner is always cooking fresh meat or chicken or fish in front of you andI always found the food area clean and being replenished frequently. They also have wine on tap that you can help yourself to in here which was one of my holiday highlights!!! ðð they have a kids buffet which was lovely as the kids loved serving themselves. It was a real novelty. I am a real foodie and love fine dinning and it is not fine dinning but for a family holiday it is perfect. Its quick, its in the resort, there are plenty of healthy options and plenty of treats. You will always be fed and there is something for everyone. In my opinion if its a family holiday and the kids are happy then that's all the matters. They did diffent theme nights.Spanish night, Italian night and Chinese night. Also the boys loved that they could make their own ice creams for dessert with three flavours to chose from and sprinkles and wafers. The staff: again i found the staff very nice. Reception staff lovely to deal with with check in,check out and any queries, Bas in the bar always had a friendly greeting, great service as did all the other bar staff. The animation team were all very pleasent. Not the best entertainment i have ever seen (some strange "family entertainment") but again our kids thought they were funny and they always encouraged the kids to get up and dance. On my birthday i arrived back from the beach to a lovely cleaned bungalow with a happy birthday note and bottle of bubbly!! This was a very lovely gesture. The water park: the water park is great. We spent 4 days out of 7 here and ate lunch here three times. My younger guy was too small for the slides.you must be 120cm or if you are over 110 you can pass a swim test to go on them. He was just under 110 but i understand these rules are in place for his safety so I would not argue it.he still had a ball in the kids area the wave pool and the lazy river. One day he went to kids club for an hour while we went up and down the big slides with his big brother which was great. He was happy playing in the ball area and getting face painted etc and was safe and entertained while we played.its great you can see the kids club from the water park.another day we put them both in while myself and my husband played like big kids by ourselves on the slides The resort overall: Over all I think this is a great spot for families. If you book through an agent go to your welcome meeting. Rep will advice you on any day trips etc. We booked the Atlantic adventure which was a fantastic day out on a glass bottom boat, food and drink included, kayaks and banana boat. We really enjoyed it. Do pay the extra for the air con. It is worth it. Don't bother paying for TV remote you wont need it.yes you only get one WiFi device but you don't need more.you are on holiday in sunny lanzarote. The pool had different activities like the bubble thing you go on. Boys loved that. It is a fab place with lively people, brilliant location, beach and shop 5 min walk away marina Rubicon 5 mins in a taxi. Playa dorada beach is â¬5 in a taxi at most and has all the peddle boats and water sports and is a nice walk too. Thank you to all at relaxia lanzasur who made our stay so enjoyable.we got married last December and hadn't had a honeymoon so this was a very special family holiday with memories we will treasure.More
You get what you pay for
We stayed for 2 weeks from 29th August to 11th September. When we arrived the reception team were friendly and polite. Our room wasn't ready but that was fine. I do think some of the reviews on here are very harsh but it's not the greatest but it's a 3 star and do do get what you pay for. Negatives - * You have to pay for the aircon * Our beds were made sometimes but the bungalow wasn't cleaned * Thepool bar only had one barman and there was a lot of queuing * Hotdogs and burgers where not kept very hygenically by the pool bar which I think is why some people were ill * Food was ok * Awful smell coming from one side of the pool by the gym * Only get wifi for one divide which I think is odd Positives - * Pools are clean and great * Aqualava water park was great. Lifeguards were vigilant and the food was brill. We went in most days even if it was just for lunch and the wifi * The place is generally looking abit tired and the rooms could do with an upgrade I wouldn't stay here again but we had a good time. I was however looking forward to going home. The entertainment is very cheesy but my son loved it and that's all that matters. Like I said before you get what you pay for so I think the people who are moaning maybe need to spend more and look for a 4/5 star holiday next yr. Lanzarote is a beautiful place and on a final note don't book excursions though the rep I booked them though low cost tours who are half the price and fantastic. I called and spoke to English people and then dealt with the booking through Facebook messenger. They are one Facebook as teguise tours. Go like this page and any trips book though them as you will save £££££.More
Fun hotel for all the family
We stayed 14 nights at the Lanzasur with friends, our party comprised of 4 adults, two toddlers and two 6 year olds. We felt very safe at the hotel and the staff were always polite and helpful. Our bungalows were interconnecting which helped with space and were only a short walk to all the hotel facilities. For an all inclusive hotel the food was good, there were a few theme nights, Mexican, Chinese etc that helped with the variety of food on offer. Plenty of high chairs were available even in high season. Sun beds weren't too much of an issue around the pool and the draw of the waterpark next door (AquaLava) and the nearby beach, meant that hotel residents were spread around a number of venues. All inclusive means that you can help yourself to food and drink at the Aqualava water park too which was a great bonus. There's a big box of "swap" items available for everyone to use... magazines, sun tan cream, inflatables etc that are handy... the box is by the gym. Overall our party enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, the evening entertainment was good, with a variety of shows, parrots, snakes, owls and a hula hoop acrobat too!More

Travelled 29th Aug - 6th Sept Read all the reviews here and was expecting the worst but in all fairness the hotel wasn't too bad. Never had any problems with reception staff or any staff in fact. Restaurant staff work tirelessly to ensure tables are clean and plates cleared away. Special mention to Al Arib ( sorry if name is incorrect but couldn't see his badge clearly enough ) but he's was always happy and very good with the children. Sunbeds sometimes an issue finding one but as the week went on we felt it was getting quieter as the schools were obviously going back. Didn't see any lifeguards removing towels which weren't in use after 45 mins which is apparently the policy but some people do take the mick and didn't appear till well in the afternoon to use the sunbeds so maybe if we were all a bit more considerate there wouldn't be an issue. Id much rather the lifeguards spent time watching my children then timing selfish sunbed hoggers anyway :) Again with the cleanliness complaints around the pool this, in my opinion, is mainly due to lazy people, there are plently of bins by the pool and it wouldn't be an issue if people just cleared up after themselves. If you can carry a full drink to your sunbed I'm pretty sure you can pop the empty cup in a bin. Cleaners were there every morning early when we went for breakfast along with people cleaning the pool and testing it. Everyday we saw cleaners constantly emptying the bins and cleaning throughout the day. Big thank you to them also. Room cleaners didn't come a couple of days of our stay but again no problem I can manage to make my bed on holiday eveyday just as I would at home so only needed towels changing etc which they did so no worries there again. Yes I appreciate your on holiday but why would you complain about someone not clearing up your mess. Room was great, moved small bed into main room so we could all sleep together which was better and you don't really need the tv remote - buttons on top of tv to turn on and switch channel. Only had 2 English channels I think which was plently to have some background noise when getting ready for our day. Clean room in arrival and nice little porch. Finding the room in the dark was tough on arrival , use the torch on your mobile to look at the room numbers as they are on the little pillar to the right of the bungalows 3/4 of the way up. Food wasnt amazing but it was ok for brekkie and lunch, we did eat out a few nights because we felt a bit underwhelmed with the restaurant. We do also like to explore the local area so this was more our choice. I'm vegetarian and there weren't many options but I maninly had pizza / pasta / salad etc but always managed to make some sort of meal. Cakes were amazing and certainly made the most of them :) Not amazing overall but ok. If we would return I would want to go self catering. My 7 year old survived on pizza all week but he loved the kids bufffet area where he loved to sit and watch the movie with the other children. I like to chat and meet new people on holiday but found it hard here because of the many different nationalities here. Not the hotels fault but I found most of the Germans very rude and the children even worse. The Brits have a bad reputation abroad but I was shocked and very disturbed by some of the behaviour. Again this is just my opinion and I am being totally honest. The entertainment was ok, again we went out a few nights as we loved the walk into Playa Blanca. Watched the parrot show and paid â¬10 for a slightly off centre odd piccy of my little boy with a Parrot but he loves it so who cares ;) There was a magician and singer's but didn't really see them.. If your not sat down by 8pm at the outside bar you might struggle to get a seat and end up by the pool which you can't really see anything. My son didn't do many kids activities mainly again down to the rude European children who one in particular just looked him up and down and shouted in his face that he must be British! Ummm so he made the decision to avoid the clubs which is a shame as he's a very friendly chap but it meant we got to spend more time with him so happy days! Water park great, food lovely we went a couple of days around 4pm which was great as it was much quieter and no problem finding a seat. Very clean and good good here but same as restaurant in hotel ,pizza and chips and hotdogs etc. Lifeguards amazing and on the ball all day, helping you get rubber rings and generally being very diligent around the whole park. We did the half day discover fire mountain trip , interesting for adults but for my 7 year old once youve since one rock youve seen them all so he was bored but the adults loved it. Was â¬105 for 2 adults and 1 child. Playa Blanca was lovely, great walk there and huge array of restaurants , average meal for 3 of us with drinks â¬40 to â¬50 euros. Irish bar along the walk into town was great but the night we went to eat there the kitchen was closed do to footie matches but still a good place with free WiFi if you needed it. The little beach by about 5 mins walk from back gate is great. The Atlantic barrier they have installed to help with currents etc is great. Loads of fish to see and wish we'd spent more time there as didn't discover it until the last day. Fake bags galore and footie kits in the shops in town along with general holiday souvenirs which was lovely walking around at night. Can't really say a bad word about this hotel, we liked it, didn't have any major issues with anything but we wouldn't go back, only because a try new places each year. If your thinking of booking please dont them the negative reviews sway you as it really is a nice little hotel in a lovely area. My little boys thoughts are he loved the games room, pools were too cold but pizza was nice ;) More
