Stayed for a week in September. The hotel is large and in a central location for lovely walks along the sea front to bars, shops, restaurants and marinas. Staff are all polite and keep the hotel spotlessly clean. Our room was large overlooking the mountains, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, the bathroom large too with plenty of toiletries which were replaced as used along with the towels. There is tea and coffee making facilities along with a fridge, the safe you have to pay extra for. Food in the restaurant was varied and good but perhaps could be a little hotter, there is a lovely outside eating area. The grounds and pool area of the hotel are kept spotless, the pool itself was large with the children's part seperate so you could have a nice swim, there are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. The drinks and cocktails were very good with branded spirits and all cocktails are part of the all inclusive Entertainment staff worked hard. Overall a most enjoyable holiday. FMore

couldnt fault hotel
lovely hotel some staff need to learn to smile though. Only draw back was that you never paid cash for anything and you would get receipt for a newspaper, drinks at pool or bar at night, everything. I found this way put me of buying drinks through the day/night, as I lke to no what I spend and how much I have left for futher days/nightsMore
Nice relaxing Holiday
First visit to a H10 hotel, won't be my last. Cons: waiting in the coffee bar, the snack bar or the pool bar at peak times with only one person serving. The entertainment at night was a bit hit and miss, but you can get over that. Pros: loved the hotel as a whole, food excellent and varied. Good selection of branded drinks. The coffee bar, Mike's, what a great idea....every hotel should have one. More
Just came back from 10 days at H10 Lanzarote Princess. We went half board and honestly felt like we weren't treated as well as those who were all inclusive. I read on here that people have said the customer service was amazing but we didn't experience this. The woman who checked us in barely spoke to us, she walked away and was helping other people. She asked for our credit card but didn't tell us why, we had to ask a lot of questions to get our information. We watched other people get checked in a lot quicker with much happier staff and what made us feel a bit grumpy was seeing everyone else get a glass of champagne on arrival but we didn't! That would have been absolutely gorgeous after 6 hours travelling! The woman also told us as we had missed breakfast, we were entitled to lunch (half board gives us breakfast and dinner) so off we went to the snack area, queued for ages and was then told this wasn't right. A bit red in the face we just paid the €17 for two hot dogs, chips and a drink! We stayed in room 1006, the balcony is massive but our views were of the bins. We didn't book a sea/pool view room but didn't really expect to see giant commercial bins! The cleaning staff were friendly but our glasses were left dirty 9 times out of 10 even when we placed them by the door to be cleaned, they were just put back with the dirty stains still there. There were a few occasions when we weren't given towels either and had to ring reception for them. One last negative thing - the lady lifeguard, she was so grumpy! The rules for the pool is just so confusing. Apparently blow up animals and rubber rings are allowed in the pool but not lilos (even though they were sold in the hotel gift shop). For the first 7 days we saw people playing with balls in the pool so we went out and bought our own, the lifeguard then told us off! She wasn't polite at all, no one had fun by the pool that day! When she goes off for lunch everyone seemed to jump in the pool with lilos and balls and have a great time until she gets back. I think a few people may have commented to reception as she was later put on the children's slide rather than the pool. Unless you are all inclusive, they charge €2.20 for a tiny cup of coke, it's literally enough for a sip which I thought was ludicrous. But there is a shop across the road and the water/drinks are reasonably priced. The food in the hotel is average, it's definitely not 5* as some as saying here. We went out every night because we didn't like the hotel food that much. Breakfast was okay, they had a patisserie section which was lovely. Okay, time for some positive comments - the hotel itself is gorgeous, it's modern and stylish. I like that you don't have to use money in the hotel, they take your credit card and give you a paper slip which you then give to the bar or shop, you can turn up without the slip which is handy if you're around the pool and fancy a drink. The pool is nice and big but very cold!! There is a children's section which meant there weren't many children in the main pool. There was always space by the pool but people did reserve their beds a lot (why do people do that!) we had a day by the pool and the couple who reserved the beds next to us didn't turn up until 4pm! I didn't see any staff take away the towels as promised. On the last day we sat on two of the beds that snapped beneath us. I like that there was entertainment going on during the day but it wasn't in your face, no pressure if you didn't want to do it. Also Mike's coffee did the best milkshakes. The location of this hotel is great also - slap bang in the centre and only a 15 minute walk to the marina rubicon. One last thing - the doors aren't very sound proof. I'm normally a heavy sleeper and I could hear everyone who walked past our door. We had a little fridge in the room which was great for our water. All in all we had a lovely time but we're not sure we would go back to this hotel.More
