Just a short walk from the beach, El Duque teams stylish interiors with 2 big pools.
This place has plenty of style, from its smart marble lobby to its contemporary bedrooms. It also has 2 pools – one of them heated. Theme nights at the buffet restaurant keep the menu fresh.
The hotel is less than 10 minutes’ walk to the manmade, sandy beaches of Playa del Duque, and there’s a little shopping complex right next-door.

Went here to celebrate my fathers 60th birthday and we did enjoy our stay. The food was very good, howevery, you get tired of the all inclusive food since everything tastes simliliar. The staff were friendly and the bartenders were good. It was pretty close the a good beach. The rooms were good and Clean. Overall, it was a nice stay.More
We hadn't booked El Duque but it's where we ended up after our tour operator changed it. It's a three star hotel and that's what you get. The rooms are a little dated but are kept very clean with the cleaners in everyday and clean towels if required. Our rooms were right next to the restaurant, this meant a very early start for us as it opens at 7 am, with our patio doors open to help keep us cool, you can hear the music and voices from 7am. The restaurant could get very busy at peak times and queues could form as people waited to be seated. The food itself is nice, but basic and very repetitive. Always something to eat even if you are a fussy eater, chips, pasta and the salad bar and a selection of different dishes but again very similar and repetitive. All of the staff are good, bar staff, cleaners, restaurant staff , lifeguards and reception staff are all friendly and helpful. We were all inclusive, there is a cocktail list for all inclusive and a separate list for paying guests. Small tubs of ice cream are available but cornettos and magnums have to be paid for , at reception! No cash at the bar, so it is a bit of hassle to get something different. No snacks that I seen apart from a few cakes available at the end of the bar in the big pool. There did seem to be a lack of umbrellas compared to sunbeds, and some type of shade at the smaller heated pool would have been good. Shorts can be worn in the restaurant, and despite notices saying no sports wear, people constantly wear football tops and shorts to breakfast, lunch and dinner. The location of El duque is a bit further away from the main resort of las americas/ los christianos probably an hour+ walk to veronicas strip and the the hard rock cafe. All in all a decent/nice hotel but we probably won't return.More

Just returned to England after a weeks stay here. After reading reviews closer to our arrival I was slightly concerned about what I was going to walk into. Last drop off but reasonable distance from the airport Reception staff were all very nice, and despite complaints to the reps about bands coming off at noon you are actually advised on arrival and in the booklet. Apart from no air con, our room was suitable sized and equipped, as well as the daily made beds and fresh towels. Entertainment was suitable if you have younger children, which we didn't although the bee gees night was very enjoyable. We were happy to sit and chill with drinks at the bar. The bar staff worked really hard, Javier and Pedro were both really lovely. How they smile trough some guests lack of manners is beyond me. A please or thank you costs nothing! Well done to those guys. Poolside it was getting busier as we were leaving with school holidays kicking in. Umbrellas are limited although there were often beds still stacked so readily available. Food is ok, you won't starve at least but it could be improved. We didn't book an air on room unfortunately and we did get a room on the abandoned site works side but we didn't let that spoil our time away. Thank you El Duque we had a lovely time.More

just me and 4 year old son, booked with TUI for 1,500 pound. its like a fight scramble to get a bed near a pool and theres 3 pools they even padlock them till 10am just every still put towels down, everyone here is german, swedish, dutch so all the kids entertaining is in german so if you're english dont bother, same with the hotel must be 7% english here i know i am in spain but wouldn't mind i conversation, kids german entertainment doesn't start till 9pm ???????????? booked a submarine boat ride with tui 85 euros, pleasr note this comes with a 2 hour coach trip to the boat and 2 hours back, i should have asked about this is my fault but they maybe should have told me with a 4 year old ???? paid for a pool veiw and bottom floor apartment got top floor with a veiw of an abandoned shopping centre. so i would not book this ever again not even for half of what i paid More
Stayed for one week mid June. Hotel very clean, large apartment, bedding and towels changed. Food and drinks ok - the usual all inclusive. Quiet hotel, always managed to get sunbeds. We did have a few cockroaches, but hotel staff dealt with them straight away. Nice beach nearby, selection of shops and supermarket, recommend boat trip and market. Siam park is amazing. Easy to use buses and taxi's if you want to get around. Transfer bus picks up and drops off at the back of the hotel. No late check out but used the courtesy room no problem. As other reviews state, you do get your wrist bands taken at 12 pm on day of departure so you need to purchase food and drinks if you have a late flight back. Never known this before. Always come home in wrist bands before. As we arrived late we only really got 6 days food/drink and not 7 as you would normally get.More
