With a seafront location and a fantastic pool scene, it’s no wonder guests come back to the Hotel Guayarmina Princess year after year.
This hotel’s location gets full marks – it’s right by the sea in upmarket Costa Adeje. A lift whisks you down to a sandy beach, and a stroll along the promenade lands you in Playa del Duque.
The interiors here are pretty impressive, and feature indoor palms, high, cathedral-like ceilings and polished marble floors.

Visited hotel for a week in June, really friendly staff members upon arrival even offered to take our bags to the room for us. We were pre warned about the noise but throughout the week i barely noticed it. Stayed half board and i can say the food was very good. I really enjoyed my week here!!More
Great family holiday
Stayed for two weeks with my family. My two girls are two years old and both had a fantastic time. Swimming pool area is lovely, lots of sun beds available all with parasols, no need to reserve beds, even although people did. One swimming pool heated which was nice. Excellent selection of food and staff in restaurant were very friendly and great towards my children. Rooms do need an upgrade however they are so clean and so spacious, I was delighted with them. An upgrade and I believe the standards of this hotel would be 5stars. Excellent location and beautiful views from hotel. Plenty of restaurants and shops available on the door step of hotel. Only down fall for me was having to pay for wifi and a fridge, all which have been free in other hotels I have stayed at. Drink was very expensive in hotel so we tended to go out for drinks after our meals, as was half the price in lovely bars across the road. All in all great holiday had by all. Would def return in future.More

Not 4 Star
Okay, so let's start with the good things, for the most part the staff were amazing. You could really see how hard they worked to keep the whole operation running, and they were always friendly. The pool area was kept lovely and clean and there was always free sunbeds. The location of the hotel was brilliant if you like Costa Adeje, it is right on the beach and surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. So for the middle of the road parts, the hotel was very, very basic. I feel like the pictures of the rooms on a their site are a little deceptive. There was also no facilities really in the room, no hob, kettle, toaster or microwave. The shower in our room (229) was tricky, the glass shower panel was glued down so you could not move it, and there was no handles to hold onto when getting in, this meant you would have to be in the shower when you turned it on so it either scalded you or was freezing. Initially, my boyfriend turned it on and fell out of the shower due to the force of it. Okay, so onto the bad. We paid €19 each for WiFi which did not work at all in our rooms and only barely in other areas of the hotel. The food was of very poor quality in our opinion (but other's seemed to enjoy it) and we felt like we had really wasted our money going half board, there was very little in the way of protein or basic foods. When we checked in the lady at reception never told us we would need the little slip she gave us (literally just a tiny square with our room number and my signature) to purchase drinks at dinner, so my boyfriend had to run up in the middle of dinner to get it from the room. We also got a late checkout and we had to move rooms for it, when we went into the room there was a huge cockroach on the wall and a giant moth in the toilet bowl, the only plus was the shower was better and the WiFi actually worked there. I ordered 5 strawberry daiquiris in the week I was there and only one was an actual, properly made daiquiri. The pools were freezing with one being slightly heated, it was okay, but I expected heated pools for a 4 star hotel. Overall, the hotel was okay, the staff are what save it. The outside, lobby and pool area make it look very grand but in reality it isn't when you actually get to the room. The hotel was not bad but I just really feel it was not worth the price we paid at all.More
Amazing Hotel, shame about the noise!!!!!!
We have just come back from a weeks holiday at the Guayarmina and the hotel, cleanliness, rooms, food, staff, swimming pools, activities and venue all absolutely wonderful. However, we were rather cross with Thomsons as we were informed by email a few days from departure that the hotel next door was being refurbished and there might be some noise with people moving furniture. Never mind moving furniture...........there was continual drilling from 7am till 7pm with a 2 hour break mid afternoon. You could even hear the drilling out by the swimming pools!!!!! Whilst I fully understand that this is not the fault of the hotel, I feel that Thomsons could have been far more truthful about what was actually going on. So if you are going, don't get put in room 1020 because you can't hear a thing if you sit out on your balcony!!!!!!! More

We had the best two weeks at this hotel! It excelled in every way - the pool, rooms, bar, restaurant and most of all the kids club! It was run by a lovely lady called Rachel who couldn't do enough for the kids. Our 5 year old absolutely loved her and the activities were great for her age group. The rooms were spacious and the sun bathing area was perfect as you got a slight breeze most of the time! the food was good but did get a bit the 'same' towards the end of the holiday but I suppose towards the end of a 2 week stay it will do. the hotel is situated in a good place - bars/shops/other hotels/supermarkets etc... all close by in walking distance. would go back tomorrow!!!More
