With a seafront location and a fantastic pool scene, it’s no wonder guests come back to the Hotel Guayarmina Princess year after year.
This hotel’s location gets full marks – it’s right by the sea in upmarket Costa Adeje. A lift whisks you down to a sandy beach, and a stroll along the promenade lands you in Playa del Duque.
The interiors here are pretty impressive, and feature indoor palms, high, cathedral-like ceilings and polished marble floors.

Enjoyed our stay
We have just returned from 2 weeks at the hotel and really enjoyed it. We thought the hotel felt very grande and the location is perfect, right on the front with loads of bars and restaurants to choose from. Our room was a little tired but still fine, very clean and British Tv was a welcome treat. We asked for a high room with sea view and got this. We were B and B but the breakfast was good, all staff through out the hotel were excellent. Our only complaints would be the payment for wifi and fridge in the rom and the fact towels were not removed from sun beds. People were leaving towels out all day and not using them and other hotels we have stopped at have a better policy by removing them after a period of time. We would return and would recommend to others. Well done to the hotel team we think you are all doing a good job and the hotel looked and felt extremely good. Jeanette BrookeMore
Enjoyed our stay
Having read some of the negative reviews I am quite surprised, Hotel is nice, pools lovely, great views , staff were great couldn't do enough for us, food was very good . The rooms were typical Tenerife hotel rooms, as long as it's clean which it was and beds are ok that's all that matters, who wants to spend there holiday in the room (sad) . I would definitely go there again....More
A mixed bag, trying to see the positive side of things!
We spent a week here with Thomson from 12th to 19th April 2017. Looked really plush on booking and following a death at Christmas of a close family members it was just what we all needed, taking the father in law with us. Looked great on arrival, booked two rooms so expected them to be next to each other so the wife could keep an eye on her Dad. Unfortunately wasn't to be and we had a view of a busy noisy football court and a sub station. Spoke to Eva in reception to see if anything could be done and she was great and arranged a move the following day, even though she was not working then. The day came and the entire thing went horribly wrong; we were given key cards to the new rooms next to each other, unlocked the doors and met by very abusive German family who were unpacking their belongings. No reasoning whatsoever. Went to reception who really didn't give a damn about what was happening, even the porter who was taking our bags was disgusted. Thomson rep Callum tried his best to no avail. Then after 2 hours given two other rooms of lower grade and further apart. This worked wonders for the father in law who had lost his wife recently! We tried to make the most of it. Sorry for harping on about this but more to come. Re. the hotel itself it was clean, the pool was nice especially the heated one that felt like a bath when moving from the cold pool. Water polo and volleyball every day which was good at first but got a bit dull by the end. The restaurant was always busy but virtually no waiting at all, staff dashing around and the quality of food for buffet was top class. Always fresh meat and fish on the grills and loads for the kids to have. Breakfast had plenty of variety enough to rotate yourself. As we were half board having the charge the drinks to the room got a bit annoying. Evening entertainment was mixed. Can't comment on the kids club. Beatles, the MO town crew and the circus lot were great. The Queen tribute was awful and more like Karaoke. Plenty of other things nearby so ventured out 3 nights. Then our next problem. On check out got to reception 20 minutes before the coach arrived and to cut a long story short were charged again for Wifi. 19 euros for the week is steep but my son paid in cash for this with his own money. I was presented with a ticket that I had allegedly signed. They accused me of becoming confused over the safe money but I was not putting up with this. Again Callum the rep tried his best to no avail. Manager refused to discuss and I was told to either pay or miss the coach. What choice did I have? This was our 9th trip to Costa Adeje and I have never complained or slated a hotel. I wanted this holiday to be just what the doctor ordered but these issues overshadowed the whole thing. There were people there who had no issues so I think it is just the luck of the draw. In summary, if considering this hotel, providing you check in and have no issues with anything you will be fine. If you need anything slightly different then don't expect the staff to deliver or be helpful....apart from Eva, but as soon as she was not there it all went wrong. It is a nice looking hotel but be aware what is behind the scenes. Now thingsMore

Very poor service/staff
Just beautiful view then you are checking the pictures, unfortunately inside is not that we expected. 90% of the staff was very unfriendly, unhelpful, not smiling at all. Food very poor No Iron ? in the 4* hotel... For the safe you need to pay 2.25 per day, For all inclusive, they asked to pay for the tea on the lunch time, for fresh juices as well. DaliaMore
