This adults-only hotel gives you a triple helping of pools, and it’s just a short walk to the beach.
This huge building is shaped like a cruise liner. On one side you’ve got the Adeje mountains and, on the other, views of the Atlantic Ocean. Within the hotel, there's a trio of pools and a buffet restaurant.
The hotel’s in an upmarket part of Costa Adeje, just a five-minute drive from the centre. And it’s a five-minute cab ride in the other direction to La Caleta, a fishing village home to bars and restaurants.

Great to see the fantastic changes even better than before!!
The Riu Arecas has been recently renovated. We are regulars and we have always enjoyed our holidays here, but it is even better now. The adults only is great. Also, the whole renovation has just lifted the swish feeling of the Hotel. Many of the staff are still the same which is great as you cannot fault any of them. The dining outside area is so much better and the food still as fantastic as always. We felt that being able to have dinner at whatever time was convenient was a great improvement instead of 2 sittings. We will be back soon. Great Improvements.More

Adult Only hotel
Been to this hotel many times and have always had an enjoyable experience. Friendly staff who greet you with a smile every time we've arrived and a refreshing glass of fruit punch! Booked through Thomsons at a reasonable price, I think it is now predominately Thomsons from the UK. Spotlessly clean hotel, rooms and pool deck. There is cabaret every evening if you fancy a night in or catch the bus to Parque Santiago (â¬1.45 pp one way) for the evening where there are plenty of restaurants and bars, also some lovely shops albeit abit pricey. All in all a very relaxing holiday. Will definitely be back. More

Pretty much perfect!
I stayed in this hotel for six nights and pretty much everything was perfect. As others have said, the hotel is immaculate, the rooms spacious, the staff friendly and the food fantastic (although not so good if you're trying to watch your weight!) Having a gym was therefore ideal (with towels provided). There were pretty much no other solo travellers at the hotel but it was still the relaxing break I wanted. I don't tend to visit the same place twice but I would definitely consider going back! More
