With its plum sea-and-mountain setting, the Hotel Riu Palace Tenerife showcases this Canary Island at its best.
Views don’t come much better than this hotel, with volcanic slopes to the rear and sea views to the front. And location-wise, you’ve got a little beach on the doorstep and Costa Adeje is a 20-minute stroll away.
The hotel’s curved design means lots of the rooms look out to sea.

Lovely Hotel, great staff, nice location
We recently stayed at the Riu Palace for 1 week. We arrived at 1am and were greeted by a lovely cold buffet just for us. A nice thoughtful touch. The hotel is lovely, the staff are genuinely fantastic, always smiling, happy and nothing is too much trouble. The room was good, great walk in shower, large bathroom, good air conditioning and we could just glimpse the sea if we stood on tip toes. The food was plentiful and of a good quality even if the buffet restaurant can be a bit like Piccadilly circus at times. A tip is to book the waiter service restaurants as many times as you can during your stay - make the bookings one of the first things you do on arrival. The location is good with a lovely walk along the promenade either side. There is a band which entertains nightly. The pool areas are very good and looked after very well by a team of poolside waiters. There is some construction work going on across the promenade on the beach but it didn't affect our enjoyment at all. A few small suggestions for improvement would be: 1. provide tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms 2. no sunbeds to be reserved before 8.30am and remove towels from sunbeds if they are not occupied for 2 hours or more. This policy needs strong enforcement by the hotel. 3. improve the quality of tea and coffee at breakfast - it was never hot enough 4. Don't charge for the use of the safe in the room - this should be free at 5 star hotel Overall a very enjoyable stay but for the reasons mentioned above I would rate it as a good 4 star hotel not 5 star.More
We stayed here for 2 weeks in November 2016 and we loved it. The hotel was lovely, the room was lovely, the food was good and the staff were pleasant and efficient. It is a quiet and peaceful location ideal for those seeking a relaxing holiday. We enjoyed our holiday so much that we have booked to return October 2017.More
This hotel is amazing from all aspects. The staff, the food, the accommodation, the location. When we stayed here unfortunately the beach directly in front of the hotel was closed for refurbishment but didn't affect how much we enjoyed our stay. There is othr beaches 2-3 minutes walk away from the hotel. Well away from the hustle and bustle but within walking distance. Definitely recommend this hotel.More
You will not regret this holiday
We stayed at this beautiful hotel in June for a week travelling with our children (4&8) The staff from the waiting staff, bar people, chefs, reception staff and cleaners were all very cheery, helpful and friendly, they could not do enough for us. The food and cocktails were also amazing, the best buffet food we've ever tasted abroad! And we've been to a fair few places! Rooms were huge and spotless, we were also left a bottle of champagne and a basket of fruit ❤ the shower was an experience in itself too! Amazing! The hotel is situated about 15/20min walk along a well lit path from the hustle and bustle of playa de Las americas. The only downside we could think of was water was not supplied in our room, most foreign countries supply water as you are advised not to drink the water from the tap. Entertainment wasn't anything to write home about either but the rest of the hotel made up for it. We will DEFINATELY be back!More

Well.... What an amazing holiday spent at Riu Palace Tenerife in Costa Adeje! Upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of bubbly and very friendly staff, the staff especially throughout the whole holiday were always so friendly, attentive, approachable, caring and always up for a chat and a laugh - they made our holiday feel extra special. The rooms were very large, clean and modern, and even though we did not have a seaview we did not mind, we could still just about see the sea and relaxing on the balcony before evening meal was lovely. The food and drink was outstanding, such a wide selection for both breakfast and dinner and all very delicious and tasty. We booked our holiday to completely chill out and relax, which we did! Laying by the pool in the sunshine, with drinks being hand delivered to your sunbed. And the swimming pools were lovely to have a dip in during the day. We certainly had the most amazing holiday. We recommend the excursion 'Teide by Night' which we booked via our Thomson rep - who was also very friendly. The excursion was amazing, our guide "Darius" was very informative and enthusiastic, which made the excursion extremely interesting - amazing views, tasty food and wine, beautiful sunset and the star gazing. We even saw shooting stars!! 🌠 We would definately recommend this hotel if you are visiting Tenerife. In fact, we would absolutely recommend RIU hotels in general, where we have enjoyed several relaxing stays! More
