With its plum sea-and-mountain setting, the Hotel Riu Palace Tenerife showcases this Canary Island at its best.
Views don’t come much better than this hotel, with volcanic slopes to the rear and sea views to the front. And location-wise, you’ve got a little beach on the doorstep and Costa Adeje is a 20-minute stroll away.
The hotel’s curved design means lots of the rooms look out to sea.

Perfect in every way possible
Being RIU Club members and having stayed at several RIU hotels, we usually know what we are getting, and this hotel and resort certainly did not disappoint in any way. The staff everywhere are so happy friendly and helpful, they clearly are proud to work for a company who cares about its employees. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and tidy, and the gardens are immaculate. The quality of food, its presentation and the choice is very very good indeed, absolutely some thing for everyone. On check in we were offered an upgraded room on the 3rd floor with a sea facing room which was truly lovely and not expected at all. Lovely spacious modern and nicely decorated light rooms. We particularly liked the adult only infinity pool overlooking the sea front. Lovely warm pool and a perfect place to relax. There was only an issue of finding a free sun bed after lunch if you hadn't already taken one in the morning, but generally ok. The building works going on at the beach front didn't really worry us too much, at the end of the day, this work has to happen at some point in the year and people just have to accept that its not forever. Of course its unfortunate that this work is carried out the particular week that you are away, but it really isn't that intrusive, honest. Evening entertainment was just OK. Not the best we have experienced, but neither the worst. Its life and if you really can't tolerate it there are plenty of bars and cocktail places literally 5 - 10 min walk along the promenade. If there was anything that we were very slightly disappointed in , and it is really only a very minor thing was the fact that we are repeat RIU customers (OK First time to this hotel) and it would of been nice to have had some sort of recognition of this from the company i.e. Bottle fizz or a bowl of fruit etc in our room on arrival. But on the whole a really lovely holiday and a wonderful place to stay, and we will be sure to return again one day soon. Thank you again to all the hotel management for looking after us so well.More

just returned from the riu palace 7th - 14th July. free upgrade on the room which was spotless and fantastic views ( 439 ). The staff are polite and friendly from cleaners to management and nothing is too much trouble. The buffet is second to none, could not fault it - there is something for everyone. This hotel is not to be missed!!!! There is some work on the beach at the moment but does not interfere at all with the holiday. We will for sure always return to this hotel when in tenerife. Well done Riu after using Riu in Mexico didn't think we could get any better but this was on par. thank you for a wonderful holiday!!!More
Well done and thank you
We have just returned from a fabulous week at the Rui Palace, my brother and his wife had stayed here in 2015 and it came highly recommended. The staff made it for me - always smiling, attentive and happy - from the moment we checked-in. The room was nice, spacious and kept immaculate by the staff...& with 2 adults and 2 kids in the room you can imagine the mess!!. Food was excellent - great selection and varied....all fresh. We loved the pools and the gardens are well maintained. It was July, so the 'sun-bed brigade' were out early to get the best spots - but we still managed to find beds and it didn't cause too much of a problem (I'm sure every hotel has this problem in Jul/ Aug). Evening entertainment gets some negative comments on here, but I thought the band tried very hard to engage the audience and we enjoyed their music - if you want disco music belting out then this hotel isn't for you - go and stay in Playa de las Americas!. There was work taking place on beach some days, but we didn't hear anything and it certainly didn't spoil our holiday. Thank you to all the staff at the RIU Palace, the Platt family.More
I am over the moon with my stay at riu palace this week. Everything has been perfect all staff are lovely and friendly.Food has been amazing it was well worth booking into their special crystal restaurant as food was amazing. We received free champagne on arrival then on my birthday more free champagne!! It truly is the attention to detail that counts. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the Maids knock at 7 every night to see if you would like extra towels! ,I cannot fault this hotel in anyway ! I am writing this as I'm lying on my sunbed and our flight is late night and we have even been provided with courtesy room for little extra cost straight away. 5 star hotel and staff we will definitely return thankyou riu palace xMore
