We stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago in the red Level. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for you.It is adult only and had separate breakfast from the rest of the hotel. If you want a quiet place with places to walk this hotel is for you.More
Fabulous 'red level' adults only
Looking for a 'chill out' week in the sun, we could not have chosen better than this fabulous hotel. We loved it. The staff were delightful, the facilities excellent and the food delicious. We stayed in the red level, adults only, which was extremely relaxing! We drove up and over le Tiede which was well worth doing and also enjoyed a boat trip to see the pilot whales. We'll be going back!More
Mr & Mrs Bangs - 1st Wedding Anniversary
Well where do I start!! From the second we walked through the door staff couldn't do enough for us. Welcome drinks were at the ready and check in was instant with lots of advice regarding restaurants, our location etc. I had to ask for extras pillows to my room as I have a hiatus hernia and cannot lay flat, the pillows were in our room before we got there!!! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, stunning decor throughout, nothing can be faulted. We stayed in a garden view room with Balinese bed. Room clean and pristine on arrival, complete with a bottle of cava and some chocolates. Bed extremely large and comfortable. Shower powerful, bath huge (you could fit 3/4 people in it!) Free use of a safe for personal belongings, room complete with kettle and tea and coffee making facilities. Ironing board and iron in one of the wardrobes. We ate in the buffet restaurant on the first night, we found it to be very presentable and well laid out. Wasn't too busy and plenty of food choice. Club ocean Italian restaurant was superb, completely see through glass building full of fire lights and over head heaters. Waiters all amazing, food glorious. For our anniversary meal we were offered a table in a La Palapa in the red level section. MY GOODNESS - the best meal myself and my husband have ever eaten. The most pristine waiters, especially Mohamed our waiter who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, he is a true credit to your hotel - top waiter and a very lovely guy. Thanks Mohamed for making our special night. The hotel grounds are vast and there is much to be seen and discovered. The infinity pool is out of this world but feel one negative is the price of the Bali beds to sit near it! The prices are extortionate and have always been free elsewhere I have travelled. It's constructive criticism. The hotel has a beautiful array of water fountains and features which lay on a musical light show in the evenings which is brilliant to watch. Bars all lovely, staff again cannot do enough. The ladies serving at the ocean bar were excellent. Bell boys on the main entrance are so friendly and welcoming. We had the most amazing time at Grán Meliá and rate it 5* without hesitation. We will be returning in May with the rest of the Bangs family! We look forward to seeing you all again :-) More
Wonderful Holidays in Gran Melia Palacio de Isoro
We had have an excellent stay in one of the most wonderful hotels I have seen on Tenerife. A great Place to stay at with awesome hospitality and very unique service. Very well to recommend! Markus, LondonMore
Beautiful resort, but...
This is a gorgeous resort. The facilities are outstanding and the staff are attentive and efficient. Lovely areas to relax in and the restaurants are superb. Look out for a Swedish manager in the Pancea restaurant. She is so helpful, friendly and efficient However, one of our party had to call the night manager one night, because of a cockroach in the room. Apparently they are common in Tenerife and hard to keep out. But...unpleasant! Also our air com seemed to be faulty. The evenings can be cool here , but even you set the air con to 25 deg it was still cooling, so it got colder. They provided an electric heater, which was, to be frank, not much use. Overall though, I would thoroughly recommend this resort. Go Full Board. There are then so many places to eat where there is no extra cost. Resort not cheap, but it's worth it. Even the Thomson Airlines flight was good. Large seats, Good legroom.More
