This hotel does a good line in sea views, relaxed pools and Sensimar entertainment.
This luxury hotel overlooks the sea with great views of the harbour. A promenade leads into Los Cristianos – roughly 15 minutes’ walk away – and stretches onwards to Playa de las Americas.
The centrepiece here is the two pools teamed with a palm-dotted terrace. Highlights on the food front include sea-view à la carte lunches, and in the evenings a piano bar and show lounge provide the entertainment.

New UP! Option
Stayed in the arona grand hotel upgrading to the new UP! Option. The additional cost bought you a premier room located on the 6th floor and allowed use of the roof terrace. The terrace provided a jacuzzi, pool, free snacks and drinks with sun beds in pairs with a significant space between each pair. The upgrade also includes a free massage, spa visit and five course meal in the poolside restaurant. The staff were fantastic accommodating our every request with a smile and even helped improve my Spanish. The gym staff require special mention for the help and advice, thanks for a great holiday will be back.More

Best hotel we stayed in.
Excellent, cheerful & helpful staff. Bedroom was immaculate. Hotel bright & clean, with plenty of places to sit. Evening entertainment was good. Pools were both warm. Food was excellent, especially if you choose to have the options that were cooked while you waited. Plenty of clean, comfortable sun loungers. Easy access to Los Christianos promenade. Very good gym & plenty of activities to take part in if you wanted too.More
A winter break of ten days in warm sunshine
As a not so young married couple we enjoyed our seventh trip to this enjoyable hotel with its magnificent architecture, heated swimming pools and excellent rooms with deep and wide balconies. The head of reception Vikki and colleague Sofia greeted us on arrival with a glass of bubbly. Help with baggage to the second floor by lift where room service Angeles was pleased to see us again. The ten days were all sunshine and swimming. As we like to get to bed not too late, we spent our after dinner evenings with piano entertainment by Jeremy Powell, rather than the floor shows. One day was used for a wonderful guided trip up the volcano Mount Teide with very knowledgeable,.super scot, guide Jean. We hope to be back next winter and avoid the 4 degrees C we left behind this time.More

Could not fault this hotel at all. Staff helpful & friendly, nice room, great view & good food. The restaurant staff work extremely hard & efficiently. The hotel is situated at the end of the Los Cristianos promenade & a short walk to the many restaurants & bars and town centre. It's close enough if you want to sample the local night life but far enough away for peace & quiet. All in all a great hotel & I would definitely go back if I return to Tenerife.More
Still as good
Since my review of 16/08/16, we have returned on two further occasions and found the service to be equally as good, if not even better. We are returning on 05/04/17 and anticipate enjoying it as much as we have done previously. Keep it up, Arona Gran.!!!More
